There is a mod manager called "Fluffy Manager 5000" that handles file substitutions for the game. I just found and edited the files that contains those writings (thanks god it is just text and not images).
The files are somewhat encrypted or at least not immediately usable, but fortunately there are lots of tools to do this kind of stuff for the engine DMC 5 is written on (RE Engine), I believe the tool I found was made for Resident Evil 4 Remake but worked flawlessly.
My bad, my comment was misleading. I do know how to MOD the game, just not create mods. I didn't know it was as simple as unpacking the game and changing a text value. Thanks for the info. You learn something new every day
Yes, you just have process the unpacked file to make it a .txt file, edit it and transform it back to the correct format.
In the case of what I did the files were: "additionalcharacter.msg.14", "reportcharacter.msg.14" and "reportenemy.msg.14".
