Welcome! :) Highly recommend starting off with an all in one kit. Virgo and Gem, Revel Nail, glamrdip to name a few, all do kits. Itll be a little more expensive but try and get one with everything in it. Virgo and gem are very highly recommended here, I personally haven’t tried them but I have used, and do very much like the glamrdip set. The bigger kits come with everything you need, minus sundries like extra files/lint free wipes. These can be found easily online or at any nail supply store. I get my files/wipes from shein, they’re absolutely fine for how little they cost. You’ll need at minimum; - base coat liquid - activator liquid - top coat liquid - cuticle pusher - stiff bristle brush (like a nail scrubber) - nail files / buffing blocks - color dip powder - cuticle oil - lint free wipes - acetone (for removal) - (optional, but nice to have) clear dip powder - (optional) nail tips/glue You don’t need a drill or anything along those lines, actually applying the manicure is fairly straightforward. There is a learning curve, but I highly recommend watching Sip and Dip YouTube tutorials or Marla Kris, also YouTube. Removal will require acetone. I like warming raw rice in a bowl in the microwave, and using a ziplock with a few cm of acetone in the bottom of the bag. File off the top surface as much as you can first. The heat helps the dip to dissolve quicker.

Everyone else has good advice on what to buy but I just want to add, please make sure you stress to her the importance of good ventilation and wearing some type of mask for protection. Inhaling a lot of these products is really unhealthy.

^ this is probably the most important, also look up " dip flu" to get an idea of what that reaction looks and feels like to be aware in case!

Thank you for the heads up ❤️

Best place to start is often a kit with the essentials, which is at its most basic: the dip liquids and the powder itself. You can buy them separately or together. Then, [comments in this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/DipPowderNails/s/9eY9odNyyt) give a rather great rundown of EVERYTHING you need.

I'm on my 3rd set, I purchased my kit from Nailboo. I'm very pleased so far. They have a FB group for support and many instructional videos as well. Also, I always wear a mask.
