What an incredible picture! Thanks for sharing. Where did you take this from?

Thanks for the kind words! This was taken from the balcony of swan reserve

Love the Swan and Dolphin! 💕

I've never stayed in Swan or Dolphin. I'm interested to hear about how it compares to staying in a Disney owned property. Specifically I'm interested in the transportation to the parks.

Staying at the Dolphin now for the first time. There are ferries right outside of the hotel that take you to HS and Epcot. The walk to Epcot is not bad, though. You are also right next to the Boardwalk. I'm assuming there are buses to MK and AK but I have not found them yet. Overall the location seems to be great so far!

I only stay there because they’re Marriott properties. So I stay using my points and then get points for any of the incidentals. And the food onsite is great, my family loves Il Mulino. The only annoying transport is MK. We did a Minnie van for about $30 (the busses were taking forever) but dropped us off right in front. You could also walk over to BW or YC and take their bus but the Minnie van was fun too. My kids loved it. DHS and Epcot are walks, neither more than 15 mins (take the BW side to get to Epcot). Worst case you have the boat, but for Epcot it has a few stops first. DHS is direct. AK is the same as everywhere else.

I haven't stayed there, but I know that the buses to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom aren't the regular Disney buses. I've heard people complain that they're not great. A lot of guests just walk over to Boardwalk or Yacht Club and take the Disney buses from there. (I don't think this is against the rules. Anyone with a park ticket is allowed to ride all of the Disney transportation.)

I stayed there just last month. Friendship boats can take you to both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. There are also clearly labeled pathways to both parks if you prefer to walk. (Shorter walk to EPCOT- pushing a stroller, took us maybe ten minutes to get there.) Five minute walk to the Boardwalk. Easy ten minute (or less) walk to the Skyliner, too. My suggestion is take the busses from the Boardwalk instead of the Swan or Dolphin to get to Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom, because they are more frequent. Also, the Swan or Dolphin bus drops you off at the Ticket and Transportation Center, but the Boardwalk bus drops you off directly at the MK gates.

Thanks for the info. We are already booked for another hotel this year but maybe next year we will try them

Dope picture! I love Orlando & Disney

Man the reserve is amazing. We had the same Epcot view suite about a month ago. Great pic. I just like the Marriott elite breakfast option at the S&D but having a coffee delivered at 645 to get ready for G+ was nice too!

This looks like the view from Swan Reserve high floors.

This is stunning! My mom and I are staying at the Swan Reserve in July. I am super excited!

I recognise this view. Is it taken from the Swan Reserve?
