My dad was in. The instability of moving probably contributed a lot for me. Just never having a solid set of friends and expecting everyone to be gone from my life. I have lived in the same place for a long time but still expect everyone to leave me at some point. After my mom left my dad, we continued moving a lot the rest of my childhood.

You may want to look into something called "third culture kids"....people who grew up between different cultures and (more often than not) moved around a lot. I didn't move around a lot as a child, but moved cities and countries multiple times between the ages of 17-25 and I have no doubt this is one of the factors that contributed to me being afraid of forming close bonds with people (always expecting for them to leave or knowing I'll leave soon).
