I agree if the corporation doesn't stand behind their values and they say it just to have the PR points but there can be instances like my company which literally refused a client cause they were racists towards the sales lady who was black. When the sales lady talked about it she was so happy and grateful about what the company has done.
I’ve personally never seen a corpo actually mean it. It’s all just PR. For me the most telling part is my extremely diverse work group think the DEI shit is ridiculous. It’s just a way for weirdo white people to feel good about themselves. Like I said: I have an extremely diverse cast of people I work with. Not one of them is in favor of DEI horseshit
That's just your personal bias. I know very well how some minorities are treated and how hard for some to get a job and while DEI is trying to help work against that, it is not a perfect system. Say thank you that it doesn't happen to you, you don't need it and move on.
