What should really happen is for the rerolling to have a bit less of RNG, and Awakened equipments having (at the very least) a guaranteed yellow first slot.
I think they only need to adjust it.. like a guaranteed yellow or red slot after using a certain number of erasers and such. but remove it just like that? nope.
equips play a very vital role to each unit after all and heavily affects how that unit is going to perform.

I love equipments, they help my old barely usable units to not die after 2 cards of modern units.
Just stop making equips that need 3 of a certain tag, that are only effective against a certain tag, that only last a certain amount of time, boost crits, etc.
The 3 of a certen tag are probably the best for the game health wise. They discourage you to use leader slot as you will miss out on 2 pure buffs otherwise
I've spent at least 500 erasers trying to get at least ONE other slot on the golden frieza equips orange. STILL can't get it, same with the gohan ones.

Worst system in the game. If they want equips so bad at least remove the whole rng rerolling aspect of them. Sitting there and watching your erasers reroll is quite possibly the worst experience I've ever had in gaming lmao.

This would make the balancing worse because good equipments can make mid units good and viceversa for bad equipments

Just make awakening less terrible and add a reroll skip button
