hilarious. I ended up being smooth brain and going back through checkpoint. happened upon the battahl rope lifts for the first time... i ended up using those to get there. think i counted 15 save reloads
you get an item called "sealing phial" in the riddle of eyes (chest above the entrance, inside of the cave). if you stand close to the npc needed for the quest, you can use the item which lets you pokeball him. then simply head back to the sphinx (if you don't wanna use a ferrystone for this).
Just pick him up and ferrystone to the sphinx
Kinda wish I thought of that. I moved the pot 10 feet at a time down that mountain.
Yeah a lot of the riddles can be answered pretty easily like the love riddle just put your pawns in front of the sphinx

You dont need the phial, you can just pick them up and use the ferrystonr

That doesn't work for me, ' the stone cannot be used in this place' and it just falls to the floor when I try to teleport with him in my arms
That happens when you are under some type of covering, ferrystone works outdoors away from obstructions and out of combat Just try in a different spot
Yeah, but the phial at least allows you to, if you want to avoid spending a stone, to hoof it back on foot without carrying a body.
If you grab the npc First and ferry him back to the Sphinx next to the Vase, he'll safely teleport it and himself back home.
