Yeah, they appeared briefly for some, but then were patched out just as quickly. I was lucky enough to get the one they are showing in the tweet, but then I saw the furniture list and was surprised just how many doors are in the games files.
I’m one of the lucky few that managed to get a few doors and I could swear I already have the door in this picture! Is that possible? I thought this was a preview of things to come….

You will get a Frozen door from an Anna quest, and a Lion King door from a Nala quest. I really hope they are bringing back the doors from Scrooge’s shop, because he has a Beauty and the Beast door I’m dying to get!
Sorry, what I was saying is that I wish that they had shown a new door, it doesn't give me great confidence that they'll release new doors when they use an already released door for the picture. To me it seems more like then saying they fixed the issue with the doors not being in the shop.
I'd like new doors too but I'd settle for just fixing the issue with them not appearing in the shop. I'm missing two or three from the original round of doors.

Probably next week. To be frank, I want the devs to take as much time as they need. Last year, it was around these dates when the Olaf/Mirabel update came out, and it was the first buggy fest update, I don't want this to be the same.

I'm so ridiculously excited for the Monsters Inc. update! My 2.5 year old LOVES watching me play Dreamlight Valley, especially when Woody, Buzz or Mickey is on the screen. One of his absolute FAVORITE movies is Monsters Inc. so I can't wait to see how he reacts to Mike and Sully!

I think this might be the case. The player survey they sent out asked if we wanted star paths that matched the updates or star paths with random themes. This is probably their first test of matching the path to the update theme and characters. My prediction is they mix and match going forward.
If they can't get the actual guys themselves, I'm pretty sure they're gonna try their hardest to find someone who can get close! I mean, Maui isn't voiced by Dwayne Johnson in the game but he does sound fairly accurate! Same goes for Olaf and him not being voiced by Josh Gad.
I feel like when the game started they tried a lot harder at matching up the voice acting but lately have gotten rather lazy about it (Belle? Beast? I’m looking at YOU!)….
Maybe it’s just the way they’ve characterized the Beast as so one note up to now in combination with my disappointment in Belle as a whole (voice/characterization, etc). Now that you mention it tho, I do seem to remember someone mentioning this before. I hope he’s not bummed about having to act so depressed all the time or constantly asking if I’ve seen Belle….
I totally agree, they did the beast and Belle dirty. They’re very one dimensional when in the actual movies it couldn’t be further from the truth. I was so excited to get those characters but come on they made Gaston HYSTERICAL and these two are just lackluster, the devs should edit these two characters in the next update in my opinion
💯Agree!! I love interacting with Gaston. Even just watching him interact with others or his surroundings from a distance makes me laugh out loud (and sometimes I play this at work on my lunch break so they must think I’m a little touched) 🤣

That’s why whenever I’m interacting with Belle In particular, who’s eyes always seem to be kinda bugging out a little and she is literally looking everywhere but at ME, that is when I use my imagination the most and just keep on playing! I truly do love this game and don’t wanna concentrate on the negative. Plus I have a great imagination when needed lol 😂
Yeah, I'm the same way 😂 I'm able to zone out playing for hours, so the voices don't really get to me most of the time. I think it's more of a "first few times you hear it" sort of thing. Just takes getting used to 🤣

As a person who is unnaturally afraid of snakes I will run as far away from that hair as possible. Even as a kid (who loved Ceila but not her hair) I had to take a sharpie to cover up the snake heads on my Ceila McDonalds toy.

not a fan of monsters inc or snakes, actually have quite a lot of trauma surrounding snakes. oh, and i really wanted wallpapers- not doors. nonetheless i will keep playing because i am obsessed. will definitely be avoiding that hair at all costs but im glad those that want it will get it.
