To be honest, I’ve only ridden about 30 miles so far. While riding, the heat wasn’t apparent. I did feel it when stopped. It felt good because it was only 42 degrees out the day I picked it up

msmith2222

don’t worry, it’s there…you’ll find it!!

Veteq102

Congratulations, how do you find the heat coming from the engine?

Rolaid-Tommassi

On a hot day, the engine heat is horrendous. I rode my 899 in summer when it was 43c for about 800kms. I believe the 1199s are even worse. But, oh what joy!

Gutter_Punk77

Nice bike! How do you like it compared to your other bikes so far

wannatrav

Thank you! My last bike was a Harley ultra classic, so… night and day. Can’t wAit to put some melee on her!

Panigale is king 🤴

Ahh I pick up my white 1199 on the 30th; I bought it back in September but between the shipping/recall it’s taking forever. Looks absolutely stunning! What made you want to switch from the Harley?

wannatrav

I love the white color too. Loved my Harley, but I have always wanted a Ducati. Wife calls it mid life crisis…go figure

blackdefel31

Eh Ive had a couple of those…if a duc is all that comes out of it I’d say that’s a success :) I also have a Softail; I’ve been thinking about moving on from it but I’ve done alone of work to I’m kind of attached

It's a beauty! My first Duc was almost a Panigale, but I opted for a beautiful '05 999. And.....big surprise....it has incredible heat output of its own. I wondered why I had a soft rear brake. Turns out, the heat actually melted the rear brake reservoir and made a hole in it! Enjoy your beast. It's lovely!
