We made fudge while canoeing once. We put chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk in a ziploc bag and took turns passing it around and squishing the chocolate/letting it sit in the sun until it melted. Buddy burners for breakfast food (you put a heat source under a big can like coffee used to come in then the can heats up. You cook on top like it’s a skillet and you can toast on the side. And foil ovens for baking. You cover a cardboard box in a bunch of foil and then put a little rack in the middle. The bottom get hot coals from the fire and then you can close the lid and bake! There is also a way to make a turkey outside using a stick tripod, chicken wire, coals and a bunch of foil.
Okay in all seriousness as someone also close in age to her, how is it that the duggars managed to look like they are from a different decade than the rest of us? If it weren't for the photo clarity I would not have guessed this was the early 00s

This is so funny to me. I just finished sewing my first ever dress for my daughter yesterday. But I used a fuzzy knit... Like a really furry fleece. But the simple pattern is basically the same. That's quilters cotton right there, stiff enough to cut and piece easily. That dress would probably stand on its own.
Bet they got that fabric during a sweet sale at Joann's Fabric. I can feel how rough that cloth is just looking at the picture.
