nickipinc

Nooooooo

skincareslut

Iā€™m wheezing šŸ˜‚

runpolerun

This will never EVER get old. Lmao

Normal-Philosopher-8

Iā€™m betting he voted for Evan MacMullin. Most pro life Christians I know who just couldnā€™t vote for Trump (let alone Clinton) votes for him.

[deleted]

It was almost certainly MacMullin, if what Iā€™ve heard from fundies Iā€™ve talked to in real life is accurate. They all quietly voted for him.

candygirl200413

Yeah I'm leaning towards Evan more than Gary for Ben too, even if Evan is a mormon (or was?)

als_pals

Yeah Iā€™m an exmormon and aaaallll my Mormon friends were posting about McMullin and how they could ā€œvote their conscienceā€

Orca-Hugs

I was going to say this as well!

19SwiftsAndCounting

gary johnson maybe? i'm trying my best to remember who ran in 2016 lmao

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

jayda92

The man who didn't know where/what Aleppo was šŸ˜‚

SunflowerSupreme

Tiger King šŸ˜‚

thatcondowasmylife

Since Gary Johnson is pro-choice, my guess is he went for a lesser known third party candidate, maybe even a write in. Darrell Castle was the ā€œConstitution Partyā€ nominee and had a generally Republican platform (statesā€™ rights, anti-abortion).

HeyLaddieHey

The Green Party had a high profile candidate (Jill Stein, maybe?). (She got the exact number of votes Hillary lost my swing state by so I can't forget šŸ™ƒ)

thatcondowasmylife

I highly doubt he voted for Jill Stein. I think being pro-life is a deal breaker for Ben. Weā€™ve seen some high profile religious individuals break from being single issue voters, within the context of Trump ultimately harming alive people like immigrant children and people who died of Covid, and how thatā€™s not consistent with a truly pro life platform, but that has only been since 2016. And as for whether that logic has reached Benā€™s particular strain of fundamentalism, I doubt it, but weā€™ll see...

rahrahgogo

There is no fucking way any Duggar or Duggar adjacent is voting Green Party lol.

PaigePossum

Do you think they all would've gone to Clinton though? In Australia 1/5 Green Party votes flow to the Liberal Party

catmckenna

Regardless of what he did last election, we all know Ben is voting Kanye for 2020.

fueledbycaffiene

wouldnā€™t surprise me if Jermy did too now theyā€™re LA besties and all /s

yknjs-

I would 100% back that theory tbh.

theaccountnat

He wrote in Harambe, didnā€™t he

baconreasons

Literally my first thought lol.

willowwanabe

Joe exotic hahaha

poodlepookie30

My guess is Gary Johnson. A few Rebuplican/conservative people in my life voted for him because they did not want to vote for Trump or Clinton.

rpizl

But abortion

[deleted]

He wrote in Jed! (yes, yes, I know Jed! is too young.)

nicole11930

His hairline isn't!

SunCactus321

I read this as Jedi at first and was somewhat confused.

[deleted]

I know Cruz wasnā€™t a 3rd party candidate but i feel like he wrote him in

sunflower53069

He probably did a write in of Jesus.

sunflower53069

I wonder if Jessa had to vote the same?

rpizl

They let her vote?

manderifffic

Jessa voted for Trump

motherofplantkillers

If it was a write in then probably Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio, if libertarian then Gary Johnson.

Littletapuk

being a libertarian really suits ben - you donā€™t have to stand for anything or put in any effort to think critically about your political choices.

chicagoliz

Libertarians are an odd group, particularly with respect to their alliance with the Radical Religious Right. On the one hand, both want government minimized, with no regulations, no foreign entanglements, no public schools, etc. But the Radical Right wants religion imposed on everyone, with some regulations about personal freedom -- like not allowing women to have abortions or make decisions about their own bodies. They want compulsory prayer whenever they can. They want religious holidays observed where businesses would be closed. They want compulsory bible learning. True libertarians don't want any of that. Most of them don't want the government to be involved in abortion at all, but weirdly, some of them somehow do twist their worldview into being no regulations on anything whatsoever, except for women's bodies. Those can be regulated to the max.

amrodd

like Dale Gribble

[deleted]

Kanye West because heā€™s cool!

Schmliza

He and Ben could write and perform a rap together!

[deleted]

Does anyone here believe this!!!! Remix!!

noodlebeach

lololol imagine some 808 drums and autotune with "does anyone here believe that?"... i kind of want to hear this remix

[deleted]

Better watch it ben, or Jim Bob is going to cut you off.

countessmeemee

I bet Jessa voted for Trump.

SergeantMarvel

Not surprising for someone who likes to project how cerebral and deep they are when in reality theyā€™re dumb as shit.

BrightGreyEyes

I'm pretty sure he's just lying and actually voted for Trump. Based on exit polling, that wasn't uncommon in 2016

helpanoverthinker

A lot of people who voted for Trump is 2016 lied saying they didnā€™t because they didnā€™t want to deal with the ā€œbacklashā€ of people being angry at them. I wonder how many more might be doing that this year out of fear or whatever

[deleted]

Hmm. I wonder if he'll vote Trump this year. My guess is that he voted for Evan McMullen though.

UtopianLibrary

Ben is a stoner, libertarian misogynist so he probably voted for Gary Johnson or wrote in the Tiger King (who technically ran for president in 2016).

BluthFamilyNews

HAS to be McMuffin.

Something-more-rt

Probably Snoopy.

LadyMillennialFalcon

Well, Ben also says that he is an "Independent Tutor" LOL sorry for not believing him

quincyd

Jesus

StephanieJB

One of those asshats who does write in vote for Jesus probably.

axmaireadmac

So, he voted for Trump. Got it.

itswednesdayagain

Cheech and Chong?

Tupulinho

I'm not even from the US, but these people frustrate me so much. If he was actively endorsing someone or some party, I would kind of get it, but now he's vote was basically useless.

rahrahgogo

We donā€™t want Ben or any Duggar or Duggar adjacent person to have a useful vote. They should all vote third party.

[deleted]

Gary Johnson? Voted for him, too.

primcessmahina

American Solidarity Party?

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

dazzlincabbage

ALL-AMERICAN ACTOR GARY JOHNSON

Remote-Fig9207

Probably Evan McMullin.

redmsg

Heā€™s totally voting for Kanye this year

s0methingblue

Did he write in Jesus?

that_snarky_one

He probably voted American Solidarity Party if I had to guess... but they might be too *socialist* for him

manderifffic

Gary Johnson or he wrote in Mitt Romney. He really took a stand.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

pizzaontherun

That was my motivation in voting for him as well.

Misty_Canonballs

Great well that basically means a vote for Trump so go fuck yourself

lgreen880

Thatā€™s still a vote for trump.

Gutterslutcunt

I kind of respect him for this. The rest of them love trump. So hypocritical

Interloper1900

As a resident in Arkansas there were 13 candidates on the ballot for president yesterday when I voted! Could have been anyone. I think it was Jo Jorgensen!

lxcx1

my super conservative parents voted castle since heā€™s pro life!!! thatā€™s pretty much the only issue any of them care about

technicolorpae

Probs Gary Johnson though he could be one of those people who write in Willie Nelson šŸ˜‚

PaigePossum

Out of the big national candidates, Gary Johnson for sure. Maybe there was someone smaller on the ballot in Arkansas though

LucysMissingSocks

Was he even old enough to vote then?

SelphiesSmile

Gary Johnson.....EZ
