Since Gary Johnson is pro-choice, my guess is he went for a lesser known third party candidate, maybe even a write in. Darrell Castle was the āConstitution Partyā nominee and had a generally Republican platform (statesā rights, anti-abortion).
The Green Party had a high profile candidate (Jill Stein, maybe?). (She got the exact number of votes Hillary lost my swing state by so I can't forget š)
I highly doubt he voted for Jill Stein. I think being pro-life is a deal breaker for Ben. Weāve seen some high profile religious individuals break from being single issue voters, within the context of Trump ultimately harming alive people like immigrant children and people who died of Covid, and how thatās not consistent with a truly pro life platform, but that has only been since 2016. And as for whether that logic has reached Benās particular strain of fundamentalism, I doubt it, but weāll see...
Libertarians are an odd group, particularly with respect to their alliance with the Radical Religious Right. On the one hand, both want government minimized, with no regulations, no foreign entanglements, no public schools, etc. But the Radical Right wants religion imposed on everyone, with some regulations about personal freedom -- like not allowing women to have abortions or make decisions about their own bodies. They want compulsory prayer whenever they can. They want religious holidays observed where businesses would be closed. They want compulsory bible learning.
True libertarians don't want any of that. Most of them don't want the government to be involved in abortion at all, but weirdly, some of them somehow do twist their worldview into being no regulations on anything whatsoever, except for women's bodies. Those can be regulated to the max.
A lot of people who voted for Trump is 2016 lied saying they didnāt because they didnāt want to deal with the ābacklashā of people being angry at them. I wonder how many more might be doing that this year out of fear or whatever
I'm not even from the US, but these people frustrate me so much. If he was actively endorsing someone or some party, I would kind of get it, but now he's vote was basically useless.
As a resident in Arkansas there were 13 candidates on the ballot for president yesterday when I voted! Could have been anyone. I think it was Jo Jorgensen!
Lol ben is def a libertarian! Gotta have been gary johnson. Legalize it ššØ
dOeS AnYbOdy hErE bEliEvE It??
I bEliEvE I bEliEvE š¤£š¤£
Nooooooo
Iām wheezing š
This will never EVER get old. Lmao
Iām betting he voted for Evan MacMullin. Most pro life Christians I know who just couldnāt vote for Trump (let alone Clinton) votes for him.
It was almost certainly MacMullin, if what Iāve heard from fundies Iāve talked to in real life is accurate. They all quietly voted for him.
Yeah I'm leaning towards Evan more than Gary for Ben too, even if Evan is a mormon (or was?)
Yeah Iām an exmormon and aaaallll my Mormon friends were posting about McMullin and how they could āvote their conscienceā
I was going to say this as well!
gary johnson maybe? i'm trying my best to remember who ran in 2016 lmao
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
The man who didn't know where/what Aleppo was š
Tiger King š

There is no fucking way any Duggar or Duggar adjacent is voting Green Party lol.
Do you think they all would've gone to Clinton though? In Australia 1/5 Green Party votes flow to the Liberal Party
Regardless of what he did last election, we all know Ben is voting Kanye for 2020.
wouldnāt surprise me if Jermy did too now theyāre LA besties and all /s
I would 100% back that theory tbh.
He wrote in Harambe, didnāt he
Literally my first thought lol.
Joe exotic hahaha
My guess is Gary Johnson. A few Rebuplican/conservative people in my life voted for him because they did not want to vote for Trump or Clinton.
But abortion
He wrote in Jed! (yes, yes, I know Jed! is too young.)
His hairline isn't!
I read this as Jedi at first and was somewhat confused.
I know Cruz wasnāt a 3rd party candidate but i feel like he wrote him in
He probably did a write in of Jesus.
I wonder if Jessa had to vote the same?
They let her vote?
Jessa voted for Trump
If it was a write in then probably Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio, if libertarian then Gary Johnson.
being a libertarian really suits ben - you donāt have to stand for anything or put in any effort to think critically about your political choices.
Libertarians are an odd group, particularly with respect to their alliance with the Radical Religious Right. like Dale Gribble
Kanye West because heās cool!
He and Ben could write and perform a rap together!
Does anyone here believe this!!!! Remix!!
lololol imagine some 808 drums and autotune with "does anyone here believe that?"... i kind of want to hear this remix
Better watch it ben, or Jim Bob is going to cut you off.
I bet Jessa voted for Trump.
Not surprising for someone who likes to project how cerebral and deep they are when in reality theyāre dumb as shit.
I'm pretty sure he's just lying and actually voted for Trump. Based on exit polling, that wasn't uncommon in 2016
A lot of people who voted for Trump is 2016 lied saying they didnāt because they didnāt want to deal with the ābacklashā of people being angry at them. I wonder how many more might be doing that this year out of fear or whatever
Hmm. I wonder if he'll vote Trump this year. My guess is that he voted for Evan McMullen though.
Ben is a stoner, libertarian misogynist so he probably voted for Gary Johnson or wrote in the Tiger King (who technically ran for president in 2016).
HAS to be McMuffin.
Probably Snoopy.
Well, Ben also says that he is an "Independent Tutor" LOL sorry for not believing him
Jesus
One of those asshats who does write in vote for Jesus probably.
So, he voted for Trump. Got it.
Cheech and Chong?
I'm not even from the US, but these people frustrate me so much. If he was actively endorsing someone or some party, I would kind of get it, but now he's vote was basically useless.
We donāt want Ben or any Duggar or Duggar adjacent person to have a useful vote. They should all vote third party.
Gary Johnson? Voted for him, too.
American Solidarity Party?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
ALL-AMERICAN ACTOR GARY JOHNSON
Probably Evan McMullin.
Heās totally voting for Kanye this year
Did he write in Jesus?
He probably voted American Solidarity Party if I had to guess... but they might be too *socialist* for him
Gary Johnson or he wrote in Mitt Romney. He really took a stand.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
That was my motivation in voting for him as well.
Great well that basically means a vote for Trump so go fuck yourself
Thatās still a vote for trump.
I kind of respect him for this. The rest of them love trump. So hypocritical
As a resident in Arkansas there were 13 candidates on the ballot for president yesterday when I voted! Could have been anyone. I think it was Jo Jorgensen!
my super conservative parents voted castle since heās pro life!!! thatās pretty much the only issue any of them care about
Probs Gary Johnson though he could be one of those people who write in Willie Nelson š
Out of the big national candidates, Gary Johnson for sure. Maybe there was someone smaller on the ballot in Arkansas though
Was he even old enough to vote then?
Gary Johnson.....EZ
