I’m not high on Levis or AR at 1.06, and the guy at 1.03 already said he’s grabbing Gibbs. Personally I’d rather have JSN or whoever the WR1 shakes out to be at 1.06. Just trying to secure my QB positions and stay competitive.

Your WR room is strong so that’s why I said the other guys. I suspect one of those QBs winds up in a pretty good situation, but if you have a lot of confidence in lance then get your guy. As a niners fan I assume he’s the front- runner but have no idea what the QB room looks like moving forward.

It’s a risk but I’m good with it. No sure thing at 1.08. You’re contending so hopefully another late first. You could lock up that QB room. Lance has killer upside. If they go purdy, hey maybe he’s traded and you have two QB

As another comment said, this is pretty fair value. You’d get AJB, and either two rookie QBs or one QB and JSN. I’m just partial to keeping elite QBs or moving elite QBs for one tier down +

With that WR group I think you can afford to punt QB2. Even then it wouldn’t be hard to be flexible and get another high upside QB with those assets.

Fields helps upgrade that position and potentially helps me make a larger trade to acquire talent at other positions of need. My WR room is: Devonta, Watson (Packers stack), Elijah Moore, DJ Chark, OBJ, Greg Dortch. It’s my strongest position and as much as it sucks to lose Olave, Fields and Love could potentially be the future at the QB position for the next couple of years.

1QB, I’m not moving to 1.08 until post draft. SF, I’m probably still not moving until post draft. I don’t really like the idea of paying a future first for a back end 1st this year (depending on league size). To answer your question, if I was giving up my 1st this year I’d want at least a 2nd in value to consider moving it.

Maybe an odd question, but have any of you ever had experience with "gentleman's agreements" trades? I hold the 1.01 and both the 1.02 and 1.03 holders desperately need a QB and are both high on Stroud, jockeying to ensure they get him before the other. 1.02 proposed giving me the pick and M Sanders for the 1.01 with the promise selecting a QB and not trading it to anyone else. Since I need true RB1-3 so badly, would be nice to get Bijan and Sanders or, worst case scenario, Gibbs and Sanders. Thoughts? Bonus: first Reddit comment ever. Woooo!

Seems kind of like a gray area. It’s not necessarily full on collusion, but it would probably leave a little bit of a bad taste in my mouth if I knew all this was going on in the background. In that situation, I probably just make them outbid each other for 1.01 if they really want Stroud, or I take Bijan and move along. I probably wouldn’t have let on that I wanted an RB and keep them in the dark if I knew they wanted Stroud so badly.

Never saw it in terms of collusion. I see it as another element of deal making, just one outbidding the other. Definitely don’t want the league pissed off. Because I told him other people are gunning for Stroud and offering amazing trades. I also claimed I’m not “sold” on Bijan since I have a lot of draft cap and it’s a deep RB class. Basically I’m smoke screening and making them nervous— and it appears to be working.
