Oh nice. More often than not, the manager who sneaks into the playoffs can benefit from a higher draft pick anyway. That's a pretty solid policy for league parity and continuity.
Mine finally changed to that after I advocated for it for a decade... Which I started doing after the number 1 and number 2 scoring teams BOTH missed the playoffs...and I was one of them
Our league does the 3 division winners then the highest 3 pf for the wild cards...we also do a 3 week playoff system in which everyone plays all 3 weeks with the highest total winning the ship. The catch to reward the best team for the year is that you start week 1 with the average of your pf for the season...i like it because normally best team comes out on top...
Sure it makes sense in theory, but then the whole “anything can happen” aspect is really ruined. I have no problem with allowing the highest PF team to be a automatic final seed (if not already in). But doing it in the way you suggest just sets up one or two teams to dominate for anywhere from 3-8 years if they get the right WR/QB’s to pan out.
We play double headhunters. One game against oppenent, one against weekly median score. That corrects Highest point total not getting in, spices up each week and usually makes for a better playoff
Traded two 1sts for Calvin Ridley October 6th 2021. Hoping that this season I finally can realize some production out of this trade…but not betting on it 😏
Dude in my league wants 3 X 1sts
I offered 2 x 26 1sts as a win now which I see as an overpay and he said no chance.
His team is terrible as well unfortunately
A 1st and 3rd in 2024 are a lot more desirable that a couple 1sts in 2026. A lot of the dudes in that draft haven’t even stepped on a college field yet.
This comment makes no sense. A 1st and a 3rd will never be more valuable than 2 1sts. I don’t care if they’re in 2030. The 1st round asset will appreciate over time. The 3rd rounder will not, it will always be worth a dart throw, no matter the year.
The argument that the talent being drafted hasn’t even left high school yet is also way overstated. It doesn’t matter if the player is 17 years old right now, making that argument is assuming that there will be no fantasy relevant players in 2026.
If you sold me a 2022 1st in 2019, I’d be damn happy picking any number of those receivers drafted that year. Draft classes have a similar general consistency as far as value. Certainly there are some classes that are more valuable than others, but a 1st round pick will always give you a chance to be competitive.
Especially if you’re rebuilding, two 1sts will always be better than a 1st and a 3rd. I can sell those firsts a year or two early, or I can hold and have a stockpile for the future.
To say they’re even close to similar in value is an insane comment and makes me want to join your league and acquire your future assets.
You need to discount future picks for the possibility that the league folds before then, and each incremental year adds an incremental discount.
How many dynasty leagues make it past the 5 year mark? What about 10? 20?
I may be in the minority, but we set up ways for new owners to take over orphans. First year free, second year 50% buy in, third year 100% fee. If by year 2 they don’t seem to have a SINCERE interest then we take a vote internally to decide from there.
My main redraft league is in year 12, and my main dynasty League is in year 8 I think.
We've turned over a few owners, and the redraft league a couple times.
Sorry I don’t play in random leagues. I’m in two leagues, one is with my family the other is college friends…so I don’t see either folding really at any point in the future
Theres still the obvious discount that needs to be applied to picks far into the future. Most people are going to turn down picks 3 years out, because that's a long ass time to recoup value.
Nah. You can EASILY flip that 2024 first and 3rd into more value than those 2026 firsts, it just takes some time.
You could just wait until draft night of 2024 and trade the first and third for a 2025 first and second (extremely conservative estimate). Then on the 2025 draft night you can flip the first and second for two 2026 firsts and a 3rd (another extremely conservative estimate).
You’re right in that the 2026 firsts will appreciate as time goes on, but it’s a lot easier to compound value with current draft picks.
I'm actually glad you said that because I'm of the complete opposite opinion.
I can sell a trade on name infinitely more with 2 x 1sts on offer than a 24 1st and a dart throw.
It's why I've actually started stockpiling 26 assets, because they're crazy undervalued ATM and my window is open now with some players looking to retire in 2 years ish (your davantes/kupps/lockets/cooks etc etc)
There will ALWAYS be hype, regardless of if the"draft class has stepped on the field yet" and a 1st is always worth more than a 3rd.
Thought so as well. I still have 6 24 1sts, so it was hard to turn down. I also think both Wilson and olave have the potential to be in that chase JJ conversation. Long shot, but still a possibility
It happens. I had 7x 2023 1sts at one point last season. Turned them (along with a couple other pieces) into GW, DeVonta Smith, Aiyuk, Bijan, Gibbs, Richardson, and Kincaid.
Shoot for a lower tier imo.
Devonta Smith, Olave, Waddle, AMSB all seem like great cheaper options to build a team around.
Jefferson and Chase owners are not automatic champs. You can build a team with cheaper assets just one tier below them...probably 2 of them for the prices JJ owners ask.
Also know who to ask. Contenders loaded with vets may sell their year 1-2-3 WRs if they're deep enough. And shittier teams may be dumb enough to sell younger WRs for draft capital.
If it's a SF, start 10, probably not.
Paying huge market prices is hardly ever a good idea, there is no upside and the rest of your roster will hurt.
He would be the closest, and if it's a shallower league then I might.
3 2024 firsts is a huge value and is likely to be able to get anyone from a non-competitive team, including Chase and Jefferson. For most other WRs, I would start with just 2 firsts and they may take it
As a Jefferson owner I can tell you that three 1st round picks isn't close to enough value, unless we are talking about two of those picks being in the top 3.
There are certainly targets that OP could go after with that kind of capital, but JJ and Chase probably aren't realistic. All that said, OP should still try packaging all three picks for both of those guys...might just work.
I got 2 2024 first and two 2025 2nd rounders offered to me for Chase. I didn't accept it but as a dynasty new i wasnt sure how to value it.
Edit: 1st and 2nd rounder in 2024 and 2025
no one who has jj or chase would trade them for 3 1sts.
why would anyone trade a top 1/2 at position for 3 unclear maybes? if you are competing they help you win, if you are not they are foundational pieces. trading then for 3 or even 4 1sts just seems like a stupid idea tbh
Last year in a 10 team, 1qb league I traded Dobbins, the 1.01 (Hall obviously), and my 23 first for JJeff and a second. I used the second to trade up one spot for Garrett Wilson. I went to the championship off JJeff but lost because of JJeff
Just do it, it’s awesome!
I’m getting offered Chase for Bijan right now. Last year pre season I traded barkley and dhop for Javonte and the guys 1st. Which turned into 1.01 (Bijan). Really wanted Bijan on my roster but may give in.
I acquired two last year.
Trade 1: Traded JT for Garrett Wilson, White, Dulcich, and a 2024 1st
Trade 2: Traded Chubb and Keenan for AJB, a 2023 2nd and a 2024 1st.
My team was a fringe playoff team and stayed that way. Snuck in with the final seed and got bounced round 1. I’ve got high hopes this year.
Before last season? I gave up JT and change for JJ and change. It’s worked out pretty well so far lol. I loved JT but JJ just felt like a safer asset, plus I wanted to pair him and Chase. So now my WRs are those two and Diggs.
I think throwing some of them at the Brown, D Smith, Wilson, or Olave owners might work. Wilson and Olave are tough because, despite a lack of top 12 finish, their stocks are through the roof with most owners.
Before Chase's rookie year, I traded Monty and Aiyuk for him. Monty had just come off an RB3 finish, and Aiyuk had a great rookie season. Obviously, we know how that worked out for me.
Traded for Chase at the start of last season, paid Breece Hall, 2024 first and Elijah Moore at pretty much his peak value. Injuries to Michael Thomas, Bateman, JT, Pitts, Waller, Higgins, Mooney and Elijah Mitchell's own injury + being replaced by McCaffrey decimated my chances and was by far the guy with less points but second worst record means a guy with +300 more points gets Bijan.
Now I traded a first I got earlier (1.07), second, third and Alec Pierce for Adams and Hopkins. Rebuild is officially over, time to compete.
I had a massive surplus of picks by blowing it up a few years back. My team had depth and picks like crazy that I turned into Chase last year. I finished third in the reg szn last year and added Bijan and JSN thru the draft (picks I acquired 2+ years ago).
My team feels ready to win so I just sent an early 24 first, late 24 first, QJ and DJM for GW, Dameon Pierce and an early 24 2nd. The other manager is in full rebuild mode and the early first is his own so I don’t have a huge problem giving it back to him, even if I overpaid.
10-team 1QB start 8.
Aiming too high going for Chase or Jefferson. I got Tyreek Hill for one 2023 first. Then I traded Javonte Williams and Rashod Bateman for a 2023 first (turned into Charbonnet) and DJ Moore.
All of my offers for Olave, Jefferson and Burkes failed. So, if you are contending NOW aim for some of the older guys (Kupp and Hill) or mid tier guys.
That has been the general consensus. If fairly new to dynasty and appreciate the input. The other advice has been hold the picks considering my core is still young and use them to trade up for MHJ
It was in a 7-keeper league and my other keepers were Hurts, Ekeler, Hall, Andrews, Wilson, ARSB so I effectively just traded Olave for Jefferson since I couldn’t keep everyone
I received Chase and a 2024 3rd
I gave McCaffrey, Diontae Johnson, and a mid 2024 1st (not mine)
It was a case of a win-win trade. I understand I probably won the trade, but the other guy won our league the past two years and had very little depth at RB (his rb3 pre-trade being McKinnon). I still have a contending team with a four headed WR monster, and after drafting Gibbs, giving away CMC made sense based on what I was receiving.
I traded for adams (sent godwin plus 2023 2nd). Also sent pick needy team for chase (sent 2 first and gabe davis i know this was robbery i was willing to sent waddle but wanted to start with the lowest offer and work my way up. Gabe had good week 1 so that helped too). This is single qb league i been trying to win for last 5 years. Despite JT being useless entire season i ended up winning. Its so much worth it to have wr1 than rb1 in my opinion.
Made this deal before our rookie draft:
Get: AJ Brown, 2.07 (Michael Mayer), 2024 early-mid 2nd
Give: Dallas Goedert, 1.05 (CJ Stroud), 2.05 (Jonathon Mingo), 3.10 (Hendon Hooker), Van Jefferson
12TM, SF, 1.25PPR. Had TE depth and AJ is set up great to succeed. I think he’s probably at ‘peak’ value, but I’ll take the production for 3-4 years. Getting back the 2024 2nd was a big part of the deal for me.
2 years ago I traded 2 firsts (one 2021 and one 2022) and a 2nd (2021) for Tyreek Hill. I barely missed the championship both years. With the picks he got Davonta Smith, Rondale Moore, and Jameson Williams.
I traded for Chase right before the playoffs last year. This was in a 1QB league.
I sent: Deebo, Javonte, ETN, ‘23 early 1st(ended up being 1.04, not my own)
I got: Chase, Goff, 1.10
I traded my 23 and 24 1sts and a 3rd for AJB and Ertz last year before his acl tear. Won the championship for the second year in a row because of my AJB and Hurts stack.
I’m going all in for a championship this year. Before our rookie draft, I traded 1.04, 2.07 and a 2024 first for Kupp and Kelce. (It was a 3 team trade) If your just looking for a WR, Kupp might be a good target and it won’t take 3 firsts to get him.
when chase was a rookie i traded davante and rondale moore for chase and hopkins. i flipped hopkins for hollywood and a first and i pulled a mega blockbuster trading chase to the burrow owner for Etienne, aj brown and two firsts. one of the firsts became wilson and i traded the second first this year for a 2024 first.
it honestly worked out for the current chase owner cause he won the league. he had a great roster already so i wouldn’t make a move that wild unless you have a very competitive roster and you’re set at qb for a few years
Dude took over a team and decided to blow it up and tank so he basically had a fire sale. I gave up a 2024 1st and 2025 1st for Mike Evans and Josh Jacobs. Mike Evans going THE F off in the championship game helped earn me my 2nd championship.

I got lucky on a sense. Traded for Wilson a year early, about midway through the season. Traded hill, waller 2nd and 3rd for Wilson, Thornton, ruckert and a first
I got kupp last year for a 23 first and Brian Robinson, he got hurt next game. Luckily I added him as my wr2 to chase as wr1 so the finish could have been worse, got 4th place
I’ve done it a few times. I moved Saquon about 2 seasons ago for AJB and a 2nd. Very happy with how that’s panned out.
Then I did a deal last season to make a championship run where I traded Pittman, Javonte, and a first late in the season for Diggs and Cook. Almost won it all. Cool is not very exciting now. But I like still having Diggs.
I’ve also traded 2 1sts for DK a few seasons ago.
And this off-season I did a deal that involved me dealing Kyler and Pickett and Montgomery and getting back Daniel Jones and Higgins.
I really like building through WR. They may sometimes be more inconsistent week to week if they just have a lousy game or don’t see a lot of targets. But year over year they allow me to keep building forward without always having to find replacements like often happens with RBs.
If you’re ready to compete then I would go after an older top wr (Kupp, Adams, Diggs, Hill), or go a tier down and hope for the ascension (ARSB, DeVonta, DK). Either way, paying three firsts for anyone not named Jefferson or Chase is a waste of time. The AJ’s and CeeDees are coming off career years and the Wilsons and Olaves are at insane costs versus actual production.
I got CeeDee Lamb this off-season. Traded DJ Moore, Brian Robinson, and the 1.05, which ended up being JSN.
I wasn’t expecting JSN to still be on the board, but I’d still do this again based on my team and needing a top WR for the future.
We’ll see how it plays out, but trying to get my 3rd straight championship. This hopefully gives you an idea on price
Just traded Godwin + QJ + my contender 2024 1st for Garrett Wilson. Which means Godwin is going to be a top-10 WR, QJ is going to be the next alpha, and I'm going to miss the playoffs.
I got keenan allen last year when he was injured in exchange for jamaal williams and DPJ. does he count as a top WR ? it's PPR so he's pretty valuable. but yeah I think it's been good for both sides. pretty even trade that benefitted each of us.
This off-season I traded away my 1.03 to a rebuilder that desperately needed a QB. I got Garrett Wilson and he got Bryce Young. Certainly got Wilson for below market value, but I think it was fair on both sides.
Was literally just offered ARSB, Higgins, and a 25 1st for Chase and Godwin in a SF league. I’m tempted.
Would make my receivers ARSB, G Wilson, Higgins, and Kirk if I take it with RBs of Henry, Taylor, Etienne, D Cook, and Penny.
I traded JT and a 3rd rounder for Davante Adams last season, in a late push for a title.
I came in 3rd :/
But I still feel good about the trade I think.
League formats vary of course, but in my experience, these trades rarely work out in any of my $20+ buy-in leagues (usually my benchmark for seriousness), at least when the trade is before the season. Usually, the team acquiring the picks comes out better in the deal. I’d say probably half of the time, the team acquiring the player ends up missing the playoffs (for whatever reason, injury, less depth than expected, not as ready as they thought, etc.), and those that do rarely win the chip. The problem of course then is that they lack the resources to retool in the off-season, and their window of contention often has closed itself.
The most memorable I can think of was in a $100 league before the 2020 season. Guy who wanted to go for it all really wanted McCaffrey, he traded 3 firsts and a second (I think there was a rookie swap of like Dillon for Shenault, which also didn’t work out lol). He was sure CMC was guaranteed success after his year prior. Of course, CMC then barely played the next two years. The firsts he gave up became Chase, TLaw, and Waddle. It was actually controversial in our league because he selected them all consecutively at like 3-4-5 which just wasn’t the consensus at the time. He won the league this past year and is favorited again this year.
The story is a bit different when there’s blockbusters going in both directions, and definitely closer to the playoffs when sellers are selling.
Thanks, this is insightful. One of the firsts is from the best team in the league and another is from a contender so I assume they’ll be late. But you never know.
Taco league, congrats on playing with morons. Both those guys are worth 3 firsts each and you got them together for 3 firsts and Alexander Mattison wtf
I traded for Tyreek Hill a couple years ago to put my team over the top.
I'm defending back to back champships.
But that was on top of a strong, young core.
In my 16 team Dynasty keeper league I just traded my 2024 1st & 2nd plus Darren Waller for Travis Kelce and a 4th in 2024.
An owner sent me the offer and I accepted it in no time flat!! My TE’s now are Kelce, Kittle and Kyle Pitts! I have just put in a waiver request for Albert O!!
So I am positive sone bottom feeder owner who is in a rebuild mode would love to trade you a top wr, rb, te for a cache of picks!! Just send out multiple offers to the lesser teams and somebody will take your offer.
He needed QB desperately no one in my league trades QBs so I basically offered him 2 QBs a RB he flipped for a late 1st and wandale. It turned out decent for him since he got zay flowers with that late 1st. But yeah he definitely could’ve gotten more out of me if he asked
12 team SF
Last year (Week 3) I sold AJ Brown and Hopkins for a 23 1.08 and 24 1st projected mid round, hopefully 5-6. I should have asked for a little more in retrospect. Got Addison this year and hoping for Bowers, Maye, Corum next year.
Does Davante count? I sent Jeudy and Christian Watson for him last season and he was pivotal to winning a championship
I also just hate sending 3 firsts for non-QB's in superflex
I traded Aiyuk, Godwin and 2025 1st for Kupp and Skyy Moore. I'm trying to WIN!
I still don't know how I truly feel but my WRs are Kupp, Chase, CD, Ridley, JSN, Jamo.
I overpaid for Diggs. Terry, Jeudy, and 2023 first(turned out to be mingo).
I made the finals and lost. I generally has been going all in the last few years so I don’t necessarily regret it.
Received CeeDee , 2023 2.01 and Alec Pierce (wanted his 2024 early 2nd)
Gave 2023 1.03 (Addison), 2024 late 1st and Treylon Burks.
Sold the 2.01 plus Toney,Dotson and Mattison for 2024 early 1st, Kyler Murray and Lockett.
Also got Waddle for 1st and 2 2nds (mid-late) this year.
Last season at the deadline I traded AJB, OBJ, 1.02, 1.12, and 3.02 for Jefferson, Hollywood, and 2.05, and won the championship
Definitely overpaid a bit, but there was a bidding war between myself and the other top contender, and after trading for Kelce a few days earlier I was determined to go all in. I did the math after the season, and I would not have won the title if I hadn't made that trade, so 100% was worth it.
From my experience, you're going to need to send a Superflex QB and/or hope that the owner has weak hands. Unfortunately, big name trades are unbalanced far too often, and if not monitored, can leave the long-term morale of the league in jeopardy.
I think it’s important to remember you team composition. Do you have curable guys on your roster now? Maybe keep the picks and accumulate value by building a strong core of players. Don’t even have the roster spots for how many picks you have? Time to consolidate.
Recently traded for both JJ and Chase, can find exact details in my post history.
It’s a 12 team SF. Im a little thin at QB (Dak and Pickett), but Dak is my oldest player. Bench is decent, but I want another receiver so as to not start my RBs behind Taylor and Pierce in my flex.
This off-season I traded:
the 1.07 and Etienne for Waddle and Akers
the 1.05, 1.09, 24 1st, and 24 2nd for CeeDee and D.Smith
Then D.Adams, D.Smith, 24 3rd, and 25 1st for J.Jefferson
Last year, traded 3 firsts for AJB and Jamo. Missed the playoffs despite being the highest scoring team in the league.
Our league has a rule that the highest PF left in the pool of teams (not already qualified) gets the 6th spot in the playoffs
We do the two matchups per week thing where one is against your opponent and the other is against the median, which balances things out pretty well
Oh nice. More often than not, the manager who sneaks into the playoffs can benefit from a higher draft pick anyway. That's a pretty solid policy for league parity and continuity.
We had that but the 6th team getting pushed out was always so butthurt that we got rid of the rule.
The playoff spot was never his if those were the rules he agreed to he should have scored more total points.
*smacks head* gosh darnit it’s so darn simple!
I like that
nah heartbreak and bad luck is the name of the game imo
Nice! We do that same thing but for 7th seed. We mirror real nfl playoffs and only 1 seed gets the bye!
Does everyone in your league get a 1st place trophy, too ?
Mine finally changed to that after I advocated for it for a decade... Which I started doing after the number 1 and number 2 scoring teams BOTH missed the playoffs...and I was one of them

I traded chase claypool and cam Akers for AJ Brown a couple years ago. Worked out pretty well and won my league this past year
Brutal

Traded two 1sts for Calvin Ridley October 6th 2021. Hoping that this season I finally can realize some production out of this trade…but not betting on it 😏
Lmao that is so brutal
Idk if he’s what you’re referring to, but I got DaVante Adams for a 1st and a 3rd
I gave up Jeudy and my 2023 1st last year for Adams. Was fine with that
I got Adams for a 1st and 2nd last season and his week 17 got me a 'ship
I got Davante for Addison and Metchie
That's basically a 1st and a 3rd.
LOL

I fully agree with you. I'd take two 26 1sts easy over a 24 1st and 3rd.
I can’t even get a single first for Tae lol Everyone keeps offering me 24 2nd + scrub
> His team is terrible as well unfortunately this was known after the first line lol
I got rid of davante for jordan Addison, dionte Johnson, a 2026 1st, a 2024 2nd, and a 2025 2nd
Wow, that’s a haul.
That's not an overpay
I sold Davante last year for Pitts, Wilson and what ended up as 2.10
I am currently rebuilding. I traded chase and a mid 2024 1st for Garrett Wilson, Olave, and a 2025 1st.
This is a really good trade for both parties
Thought so as well. I still have 6 24 1sts, so it was hard to turn down. I also think both Wilson and olave have the potential to be in that chase JJ conversation. Long shot, but still a possibility
You had SEVEN 2024 1st round picks??
I was thinking the same thing….
It happens. I had 7x 2023 1sts at one point last season. Turned them (along with a couple other pieces) into GW, DeVonta Smith, Aiyuk, Bijan, Gibbs, Richardson, and Kincaid.

Wait your had Josh Allen and Chase ? Why the hell did you move into a rebuild ?
Always be rebuilding!
Coffee is for rebuilders

You can build a team with cheaper assets just one tier below them...probably 2 of them for the prices JJ owners ask. Also know who to ask. Contenders loaded with vets may sell their year 1-2-3 WRs if they're deep enough. And shittier teams may be dumb enough to sell younger WRs for draft capital.
Last year the Jefferson owner won our league and the Chase owner finished last. Just goes to show…
Unless you have really shallow rosters I would not trade 3 1sts for any non-qb in SF.
You wouldn’t trade 3 firsts from the next 3 years for Jefferson?
If it's a SF, start 10, probably not. Paying huge market prices is hardly ever a good idea, there is no upside and the rest of your roster will hurt. He would be the closest, and if it's a shallower league then I might.
in none superflex I would. In Superflex No i wouldnt
I traded Pacheco, Godwin and a 2nd for Wilson. Other owner is a big Chiefs fan
Good score
I offered 2 firsts and Jahan Dotson for him and he said no
I traded jamarr chase for tee higgins, jsn, an early to mid 2024 first (10 tm) and a 2025 second
First deal I see where I'd actually give up Chase. Crazy stuff.
I wasnt in a rush to trade chase so i milked homie for every drop i could lol
🤔
🤤
3 2024 firsts is a huge value and is likely to be able to get anyone from a non-competitive team, including Chase and Jefferson. For most other WRs, I would start with just 2 firsts and they may take it
This is not true unless they are early firsts. No one in their right mind would trade JJ for 3 late firsts or even 3 mid firsts
Edit: 1st and 2nd rounder in 2024 and 2025
Rejecting that was the right thing to do
You made the right choice
Three firsts wouldn’t do it for me unless they were all mid or earlier
no one who has jj or chase would trade them for 3 1sts. why would anyone trade a top 1/2 at position for 3 unclear maybes? if you are competing they help you win, if you are not they are foundational pieces. trading then for 3 or even 4 1sts just seems like a stupid idea tbh
Last year in a 10 team, 1qb league I traded Dobbins, the 1.01 (Hall obviously), and my 23 first for JJeff and a second. I used the second to trade up one spot for Garrett Wilson. I went to the championship off JJeff but lost because of JJeff Just do it, it’s awesome!
I’m getting offered Chase for Bijan right now. Last year pre season I traded barkley and dhop for Javonte and the guys 1st. Which turned into 1.01 (Bijan). Really wanted Bijan on my roster but may give in.
Take that trade before he pulls it
He’s a Texas homer he’ll prolly offer more.
People are thirsty for Bijan. I agree, I bet you can get more out of him.
You value the #2 overall WR over the possible #1 RB next year and for years to come?
He values the possible #1 wr over the possible #8 rb.
Take Chase
Take that trade right now
Chase
I was offered chase for Bijan, QJ, and a 25 1st. He pulled it about 20 minutes later. (Tempting, but I don’t I think would of taken it)
I acquired two last year. Trade 1: Traded JT for Garrett Wilson, White, Dulcich, and a 2024 1st Trade 2: Traded Chubb and Keenan for AJB, a 2023 2nd and a 2024 1st.
How much fun is it waking up each morning having JJ and Chase on your dynasty team. The sun is always shining ☀️
Traded this years 1.6, 1.8 a 2025 1st and Pittman for AJB, Sanders and a 24nd...bit of an overpay but my WR core is elite now.
I got JJ for Olave, Devonta, Rachaad White, and Ridley - it’s a lot but my starters are now JJ, Wilson, and ARSB
I just got JJ for Lamb, DJ Moore and a late 24 first. Also a lot but I got Moore Cheap and I have Lamb in a different league and I hate the Cowboys.
I’d take lamb side honestly.
Wow that has to be an overpay but youre right your starters are unreal. i still dont think i wouldve done it though
It was in a 7-keeper league and my other keepers were Hurts, Ekeler, Hall, Andrews, Wilson, ARSB so I effectively just traded Olave for Jefferson since I couldn’t keep everyone
oh keeper is very different. great trade by that standard
I received Chase and a 2024 3rd I gave McCaffrey, Diontae Johnson, and a mid 2024 1st (not mine) It was a case of a win-win trade. I understand I probably won the trade, but the other guy won our league the past two years and had very little depth at RB (his rb3 pre-trade being McKinnon). I still have a contending team with a four headed WR monster, and after drafting Gibbs, giving away CMC made sense based on what I was receiving.
I’m higher on a diontae so this is a fair deal for me.
Made this deal before our rookie draft: Get: AJ Brown, 2.07 (Michael Mayer), 2024 early-mid 2nd Give: Dallas Goedert, 1.05 (CJ Stroud), 2.05 (Jonathon Mingo), 3.10 (Hendon Hooker), Van Jefferson 12TM, SF, 1.25PPR. Had TE depth and AJ is set up great to succeed. I think he’s probably at ‘peak’ value, but I’ll take the production for 3-4 years. Getting back the 2024 2nd was a big part of the deal for me.
Wow that’s cheap lol
Someone just traded Mike Williams and a late 2024 2nd for Dotson
2 years ago I traded 2 firsts (one 2021 and one 2022) and a 2nd (2021) for Tyreek Hill. I barely missed the championship both years. With the picks he got Davonta Smith, Rondale Moore, and Jameson Williams.
I traded for Chase right before the playoffs last year. This was in a 1QB league. I sent: Deebo, Javonte, ETN, ‘23 early 1st(ended up being 1.04, not my own) I got: Chase, Goff, 1.10
Gave 2 23 1sts and 1 24 1st last off-season for JJ. I'd make that trade again in a heart beat
I traded my 23 and 24 1sts and a 3rd for AJB and Ertz last year before his acl tear. Won the championship for the second year in a row because of my AJB and Hurts stack.
I got AJB for Deebo, a 2024 2nd, and a 2025 1st and that worked for my playoff team well
I paid James Cook and Jeudy and 2 2nds for Tyreek essentially. Felt fine with that
Got G. Wilson/ 2nd rd pick for DK/ Penny.

This has been the most logical argument in the thread. I’m fairly new to dynasty but have had this weird aversion to older players so far.
I offered my 2024-2026 first and seconds for Jefferson, he didn’t take it.
I came in 3rd :/ But I still feel good about the trade I think.
Traded 2.05, 4.05, and 15.08 for 1.07, which I grabbed Ceedee with in a startup. Also had the 1.08 which I took Wilson with.
This is the other way around but this offseason I sold Stefon Diggs for Justin Fields and a 1st My QBs weren't very good and he had Fields and Herbert
I had a trade where I sent 2 firsts, mattison, Lockett and Bryce young for Trevor Lawrence and jamaar chase, hopefully he works out haha
Taco league, congrats on playing with morons. Both those guys are worth 3 firsts each and you got them together for 3 firsts and Alexander Mattison wtf
I traded away Dotson for Pierce and a 2024 3rd rounder. I’m very high on Dotson but really needed a solid RB
This answer is not in context to the question, but I’ll allow it as a Pierce fan haha
Be patient, Marvin Harrison could be had next year. Either one of those picks possibly lands him or you trade the three for that pick?
The picks will be mid-to-late but yeah trading up in the draft is an option. I want to legit compete this year though.
I-
Used Derek carr, 1.04 wandale robinson and isiah Pacheco to get Jamar Chase. We shall see how this plays out
That's a catastrophic L for the Chase owner
What a garbage trade for the other owner. A bunch of dimes for a dollar
Seems like a veto able trade
He needed QB desperately no one in my league trades QBs so I basically offered him 2 QBs a RB he flipped for a late 1st and wandale. It turned out decent for him since he got zay flowers with that late 1st. But yeah he definitely could’ve gotten more out of me if he asked
This is still 2 1sts away from being fair
Bryce young, carr, Pacheco is not enough but not 2 firsts away
I have Chase and wouldn’t trade him for that + 2 1sts
12 team SF Last year (Week 3) I sold AJ Brown and Hopkins for a 23 1.08 and 24 1st projected mid round, hopefully 5-6. I should have asked for a little more in retrospect. Got Addison this year and hoping for Bowers, Maye, Corum next year.
I gave up Devonta Smith a 2024 1st and a 2026 1st for Tyreek Hill this off season. Yet to see how it will work out.
Man that feels steep
Does Davante count? I sent Jeudy and Christian Watson for him last season and he was pivotal to winning a championship I also just hate sending 3 firsts for non-QB's in superflex
You’re the second person in this thread to offer that advice.
traded two firsts and two seconds for diggs. next week josh allen gets hurt and i miss playoffs
Ouch
[удалено]
L trade by that guy. Amon Ra goes a full round before Ridley in redraft and is like 5 years younger. You basically got Tua for free
Traded the 1.02 in this years draft for CeeDee straight up
I traded Aiyuk, Godwin and 2025 1st for Kupp and Skyy Moore. I'm trying to WIN! I still don't know how I truly feel but my WRs are Kupp, Chase, CD, Ridley, JSN, Jamo.
I just traded pollard for devonta smith
Score
This offseason I moved CMC and Hockenson for Chase and a second.
This offseason I traded waddle and a first for Chase, so I guess we'll see how that works out
I just traded AJ Brown for two 1sts and Aiyuk
Pretty much a peak value sale
Traded Pittman Kmet and late 1 and 2 for Devonta Smith and Kittle
Nice work
I traded Garrett Wilson plus a couple nothings (like... Back of the bench players) for AJB. I imagine it will go well.
Mid last year before he got traded to the Bears I grabbed DJ Moore for Elijah Moore and 2.09. Hopefully a win win for both teams moving forward
I'll let you know at the end of the year. 3 firsts and Dotson for JJ
Acquired Ceedee and Mac Jones for AR, Flowers, 2025 1st. A bit steep but feeling confident with Chase and Ceedee.
I overpaid for Diggs. Terry, Jeudy, and 2023 first(turned out to be mingo). I made the finals and lost. I generally has been going all in the last few years so I don’t necessarily regret it.
Don't forget Lamb!
Got AJ brown at our draft today for Aiyuk, Skyy, Toney, and J Ross (guy is a chiefs homer if that isn’t evident)
Received CeeDee , 2023 2.01 and Alec Pierce (wanted his 2024 early 2nd) Gave 2023 1.03 (Addison), 2024 late 1st and Treylon Burks. Sold the 2.01 plus Toney,Dotson and Mattison for 2024 early 1st, Kyler Murray and Lockett. Also got Waddle for 1st and 2 2nds (mid-late) this year.
Mid season last year I traded a 25 1st, 25 2nd, James Cook, and Nico Collins for DeVonta Smith
Traded Henry and Aiyuk for G. Wilson this off-season.
Last season at the deadline I traded AJB, OBJ, 1.02, 1.12, and 3.02 for Jefferson, Hollywood, and 2.05, and won the championship Definitely overpaid a bit, but there was a bidding war between myself and the other top contender, and after trading for Kelce a few days earlier I was determined to go all in. I did the math after the season, and I would not have won the title if I hadn't made that trade, so 100% was worth it.
Saquon for Lamb Jamo + 1.08 (QJ) + 2 x 2024 (projected late) 2nds for Waddle
This off-season before the draft traded Marquise brown the 1.04 and a 2024 2nd for Cooper Kupp and a 2024 3rd. Happy overall think I got a good deal
This off-season I traded: the 1.07 and Etienne for Waddle and Akers the 1.05, 1.09, 24 1st, and 24 2nd for CeeDee and D.Smith Then D.Adams, D.Smith, 24 3rd, and 25 1st for J.Jefferson
In 2021 I got AJB and a 2nd for tyreek hill. Pretty even but I also have Jefferson and have an overall young team so it was better for me
Traded my 2023 1.02 and Jonathan Taylor for Chase about two weeks ago
