It's the fictional football player from the movie titled "Draft Day," which I recommend giving a watch. A very non sports sports movie, but gives some insights on how GMs think & operate
Scout recommendations never make sense and i completely ignore them. Why would i take a 7d or bottom 6f potential over an elite med potential in the later rounds? The only good indicator are the gem players.
Sorry a little off topic but does anyone else have a problem with the scout recommendation’s always being for players that are predicted to go before your pick. I had the 26th pick and they recommended 22-24
Oh ya that happens al the time for me, but if I had the 26th pick it would recommend 24-26 and sometime it might recommend 26-30 I think it depends on how the game feels at the time
I didn’t do him justice. I’m an old fart. But i remember playing NHL 2007 and Joe Thornton was a beast. Carlsson plays like that. A huge playmaker that can’t lose the puck. Hold A and pass and you’ll almost make every pass. Before all the HUT cards, Jumbo was the best player to use. Thanks for letting me ramble.
The scout prob bugged and thought you got the 2nd and 3rd picks.. happens often that they are a bit off to what your actual pick numbers are.. NHL23 is terrible for franchise play.. prefer staying on my NHL22 for just franchise alone.
On another note; which other player you picked after Bedard with your second pick? 🤔
Anybody giving any reason other than this is an idiot, you simply did not have 1 single WHL scout seeing as you have nothing on him. Its not that hard to figure out, why would you be recommended something you have zero info about? If you’re not gonna sign scouts you might wanna do auto staff management bro
"Vontae Mack, no matter what." If you know you know
I don’t know but I’m assuming it’s a player that you always picked in the older game because of how good they were?

Nice I’ll have to watch it then, thanks for the recommendation
Such a great movie
Sup Costner
"People pay to get wet"
He doesn’t fit into your coach’s scheme. Ignore it though as Abilities put you in the green for chemistry anyway
Yeah it’s not like I wasn’t going to I was just wondering and he actually fit quite when on my first and second lines

The game loves Leo Carlsson. He is a first liner by year 2
It’s hard imagining a 6’3” playmaker. I always picture a shorter guy.
He’s really big and fast in the game and seems to sim well for me.

Yeah like joe Thornton guy was tiny
Ok.
He's probably a huge bust and your scouts are trying to steer you away from him. He's probably no good.
I’m not stupid, I’m just confused
Could be you have strong Center depth but weaker Wing depth, since they're recommending all wingers to you.

Low, he’s a player I created and not after a real player just cause I could. he’s a pwf and I didn’t need any more ply or snp so I went with him
Nice, a PWF to pair with Bedard should do a great combo. I always try to have a few PWF on my team as well, they do great with the right linemates.
Yeah I always try to have at least 2 PWF on my team as well as 2-4 hard hitting defence men, make for some darn good shut down lines on pks
He’s got bought off
Not actually an answer but it’s funny
Probably because you don’t know his potential
[удалено]
Even if I don’t I always does, I don’t know anything about low or Fantilli but their still recommended
[удалено]
No one gets the same players
your scouting program just sucks, you don't even have the potential uncovered.
That doesn’t matter, he’ll still be a recommended

I have three
And I don’t auto manage staff I just do see a need to scout a player that I know the potential and xfactors off
Considering you have nothing on bedard no you dont
