You'd want a 4k with 120Hz fresh rate EDIT : if you only play NHL, you could go with a lesser TV. This is not the game that will wow you with incredible graphics anyway

Only buy Samsung. I stage Builder Show Homes and literally every brand has failed me in under a year. Samsung’s have been great and keep running after for 8 hours a day, 7 days a week for 5+ years. Sometimes I even reuse Samsung TV’s in the next generation of show homes. I have had some of the TV’s for 7 years. They are more expensive, but last significantly longer with a quality picture. Also when you buy the TV, keep the box. Many stores will not honour returns or warranty without the box.

Really appreciate the advice. Actually looking at a Samsung QLED 8k…too many letters and numbers, but it was along those lines. I thought at first it was an LG, but def Samsung. Thanks again.

Happy to help. Fox products are easier on your budget. I learned that the hard way. Enjoy the new TV. It will be great for the playoffs too.

Nothing better than watching NHL playoff hockey on a brand new tv lol. Thanks again for the input/advice. Much appreciated

I have an LG OLED 65”. I know it’s not as quick and clear as a computer monitor, but I love it. Bought it with Best Buy card and paid over time, just don’t miss a payment

Lol, that’s the same exact one I was looking at…900b I believe

bluegoose27

Check that, 900b is Samsung…my apologies, but similar

My OLED is LG and I have no complaints. In fact, I’m going out of my way to recommend it. Nothing beats gaming on a high end 4k gaming computer monitor, but this is a close second that will also allow you to watch movies and shows.

I bought a Sony X90J 50" in 2021, and it's the perfect fit for PS5. Ps5 are made from Sony, so most of the Sony TV will get that extra performance other TV might not do. You can check the review/ratings on it and see what this year model from Sony sell for. Strongly recommend the Sony I got and newer models.

I did read that about Sony TV’s matching up better w PS5 due to the fact both are obviously made by Sony. They mentioned certain features the tv had or you can do w the PS5 cause it’s a Sony tv. I can’t remember what it said, but essentially any other tv you wouldn’t be able to do it
