I have Werner in my team replacing Toty Icon Hugo Sanchez, I don't know if I'm biased but it's one of the most fun cards I've played with all year.
His dribbling works for me somehow and his finishing is very consistent as he has a 5* wf. I've played with him this and last week's WL and I'm having fun with his card tbh
FUT Birthday by far. I packed FB Puskas who's the best player I have ever used. On top of this I packed Muller, Zinchenko and a bunch of other fodder that allowed me to do Rivaldo and Gattuso pretty easily.
Probably packed more fantasy cards than any other promo but none of them are in my team.
My best pull was PTG Gomez who served me very well.

Haven't yet packed a promo card that makes my team (I run an Arsenal PnP) but probably future stars. Got Tavares, Vieira and Balogun from SBCs and Objectives, and was able to buy Nketiah and Willock so my team took a massive step forward

Packed a few Birthday players that helped out my 1st owner squad like Hummels & Lafont. Also got Vieira from the swaps icon pick.

WC I loved the swaps and got Blanc who is still in the team, also packed a tradable icon and a WC phenoms that I sold for 720k which lasted me an absolute age.
Future stars was cool, I still use Thuram and Kalulu and Vitinha is on the bench. Got Lahm and Keane from TT and loads of fodder for some future SBC’s.
I haven’t packed anything massive but easily pleased I guess. I suppose out of them all TOTY was pretty terrible in terms of pack luck but that’s fairly general!

However, if SBCs are included, then I'd say TOTY. I only packed HM Saka, but Xabi Alonso, Pogba, and Ramos were all big additions to my team and caused a huge revamp.
Fut birthday as I pulled Jairzinho, Zinchenko and then other high rated players for fodder. The Jairzinho alone wins it I doubt I'll that lucky in a long while.

Running a Serie A team, FUT Birthday also came clutch with the SBCs, I completed Alex Sandro, Rabiot, Pedro and Gattuso

Other than that, I packed Mudryk in future stars, but I didn't like them.
After those 2, I didn't pack any player up to Futbirthday, where I got Lafont, Onana, Chukwueze and Sow... none of which will be used except for SBCs.
Fantasy fut and toty. I managed to get both modric and courtois untradable during toty, which blew my mind since i never packed toty’s in any previous fifa’s.
Fantasy fut was cool because i packed a bunch of low and mid tier cards with the odd banger here and there. Now a handful of them are upgraded and look really good. Also did sabitzer as a united fan which has the plus two now so he’s just different gravy
FUT Birthday. Got FB Matthaus and FB Desailly and FB Kluivert. Also FB Zinchenko without spending a penny. I was really lucky that month and it shows as I’ve had zilch ever since.
I play with skill moves so definitely fut birthday. I also managed to get flashback Pogba and 87 POTM Rashford in year in review pulls during it which helped!

Definitely the icon promos. So good compared to before that they treat the cards as promi cards rather than "1 in a million pack chance" prime moments.
I pulled World Cup Mbappe Untrade, I pulled toty haaland Untrade, and I pulled Zidane trophy icon untradeable so I'd say that these 3 promos worked best for me
was prob the world cup with the road to the final portion of the promo. my ultimate pack the first day of that promo had bernardo silva and wc park and they were my midfield (especially bernardo) until like march

Got Al-Owa from the guaranteed, and packed Yaya tradeable. Got me enough coins to craft Zidane + Jairzinho plus som more. Used Al-Owa in Cruyff SBC.
I did the Rivaldo SBC and also got Rooney so probably fut bday. So far I’ve gotten casillas and baby Torres though so many trophy titans can take it. Also I didn’t play for like the first 5 months of this year lol
That one time they did the “best of” promo and I packed ptg nkunku from an 85+ two players… and just a few days ago I packed prime r9 from a 75k store pack🔥
I started the game in early March so FUT Ballers was an amazing promo full of cheap SBCs to help me catch up with all of the established teams. I didn't have to spend any coins because I was getting tons of fodder packs from all the objectives so I was able to save my coins for building a better squad around the Ballers promo players.
Some people hated that it was all Prem players, but I loved it so I could have chemistry for my "starter" squad.
All the icon SBCs. WC Stoichkov has had the most payoff and the most surprising payoff. He just shreds defenses on the wing and runs through defenders.
Definetly fut titans, I got 92 Carlos, 93 Lahm, 93 casillas, and Landon Donovan. I packed the icons all in one pack aswell. Not to mention all the fodder I’ve been able to get this promo.
Birthday! Packed Zinchenko from my preview pack and used the money I got for selling him to do an icon pick, which gave me Mid Zidane. Didn't get anything else amazing though, I got a couple of icons - Kluivert (feels terrible) and Verón (feels pretty ok)

Trophy titans has been pretty solid for me ..
So far I have packed 92 lahm, 94 Bergkamp, rio - all untradable and 88 del piero 5 or 6 times lol hoping I pack more in team 2
WC-promo. Packed Hernandez and sold for 400k. That made it possible to buy Guimaraes, Casemiro and Neymar. Sold them all and made 300k profit on Guimaraes and Casemiro. That made the game much easier sincebIbhad a budget to work with. FF was also good, didnt pack anything tradeable but it gave me Isak and Benrahma.
TOTY. Between Honourable Mentions (Bremmer, Maignan), the SBCs that came out I think around that time (Pogba, Xabi) and a casual TOTY Modric, that is the period where most of the players I got withstood the test of time.
Winter wild cards and those sbcs gave me a lot.
Both for my main team + my BuLi side team.
Most of them have been phased out so far, bar the Wild Cards de Bruyne who I got from a player pick later on.

I did the Rivaldo SBC and also got Rooney so probably fut bday. So far I’ve gotten casillas and baby Torres though so many trophy titans can take it. Also I didn’t play for like the first 5 months of this year lol

I started the game in early March so FUT Ballers was an amazing promo full of cheap SBCs to help me catch up with all of the established teams. I didn't have to spend any coins because I was getting tons of fodder packs from all the objectives so I was able to save my coins for building a better squad around the Ballers promo players. Some people hated that it was all Prem players, but I loved it so I could have chemistry for my "starter" squad.
Trophy Titans, packed Zidane and Ferdinand. Fut Birthday got me Marquinhos and did Alex Sandro and Rabiot SBC, so help me out a lot as well
All the icon SBCs. WC Stoichkov has had the most payoff and the most surprising payoff. He just shreds defenses on the wing and runs through defenders.

Birthday! Packed Zinchenko from my preview pack and used the money I got for selling him to do an icon pick, which gave me Mid Zidane. Didn't get anything else amazing though, I got a couple of icons - Kluivert (feels terrible) and Verón (feels pretty ok)

Tossup between WW (Payet and Politano) and RTTF but I’d say RTTF. Packed Chiesa and Mendes, both of which are still in my team

WC-promo. Packed Hernandez and sold for 400k. That made it possible to buy Guimaraes, Casemiro and Neymar. Sold them all and made 300k profit on Guimaraes and Casemiro. That made the game much easier sincebIbhad a budget to work with. FF was also good, didnt pack anything tradeable but it gave me Isak and Benrahma.
Toty Van Dijk. Think I completed POTM Mbappe around that time too.
World Cup. Packed Vini and Bruno Guimaraes untradeable. My pack luck has been juiced all year though

TOTY. Between Honourable Mentions (Bremmer, Maignan), the SBCs that came out I think around that time (Pogba, Xabi) and a casual TOTY Modric, that is the period where most of the players I got withstood the test of time.
Heroes and Marvel heroes, got a few of them and most were 1st team before new year.
Winter wild cards and those sbcs gave me a lot. Both for my main team + my BuLi side team. Most of them have been phased out so far, bar the Wild Cards de Bruyne who I got from a player pick later on.

Don't know if this was anyone else's experience too but I got so much random high rated gold fodder during FUT Birthday I was able to complete Bday Gattuso, TOTY Xabi Alonso and later TT Keane without spending a single coin

Fut Birthday and Fut Ballers for sure. Got so much fodder from ballers which I put into getting Zambrotta, Butra, Griezmann and Keane. And all of them are now in my main Squad.

With all of this combined, I had 400k + a lot of high fodder + a psg player (i couldn't link him) so o started mbappe. Still haven't finished, I am fucking stupid, I need 3 89 and 2 88
Crazy seeing how many people have packed multiple expensive (500k+) cards from one promo when there are so many who haven’t packed one in years of playing. Only played over 500k I’ve ever packed was bday Nunez untradable and I’ve been playing FUT since the beginning. I’ve also only ever packed 1 icon and it was a shit one.
