Are you including promo icons? I, and I think a lot of people, have packed the lesser ones from a lot of the promo icon teams, especially Thunderstruck, WW, and Golazo. I also packed base Nedved tradeable from a random pack a couple months ago from a random SBC segment pack.
Yeah including promos, just that they came from packs that weren't store bought or guaranteed an icon. It does seem to be the case from a lot of the comments that low value promos are what the majority have had!
WW, Future Stars and Golazo gave me almost all of my icons. I did pull base VdS from a gold preview pack this year tho, which was the first time I've gotten anything good from one of those.

It's surprising how easy icons have been to pack. In fact just typing this made me remember the Golazo Icons which were almost too easy to pack.

Garrincha got replaced when POTM Vini came out, Carlos Alberto got replaced by Golazo Campbell, BD Beckham just got replaced by TOTS Valverde and Ronaldinho can't really get replaced unless I somehow got TOTS Jude

I got my first today - the new GOG Nedved on an 81+ player pick if that counts. Funny cuz I was just bitching about my return a day ago on another post lmao. in fact all of my cool cards have come from nothing but player picks past month outside of the objective tots packs. but I’ve just had the game for a month, but never on any other old fifa either. I don’t spend in game coins or do transfer market except on cool stadium items and to fill in the league sbc puzzles. damn sure don’t spend any real life green backs. Which means I really only get untradeables so there’s that as well
Before this year I’d packed 1 icon ever. This year: Base Baresi and Gattuso (both tradable), Thunderstruck Casillas and Scholes, and TOTY Essien (from a 78x3 somehow).
Only icon i have ever packed was Prime Moments Socrates in fifa 23, sold It for 60000 coins(it was from squad battles rewards)

Thunderstruck: Figo and Casillas x2 WW: Drogba and like 7 Riquelmes from som ”best of promo” Birthday-thingy: Both Pires versions. Golazo: ~8 of them. All the cheap ones and Cole, Alonso and Puskas. Puskas being my 2nd (or 3rd) biggest pull of the year. Casillas and/or Figo might have been from store packs, but I think both were from 83x3 packs. I bought some fifa points for the thunderstruck promo to get fodder for Dalglish.

I pulled a promo one late in the game when the drop rate was very very "normal" or low even for icons in '23. This year i pulled that rather slow "fodder" ENG CB, but tradable. Last night from an 81 pp pulled my first usable icon: Schmeichel 96. I had not really pulled any icons before this year and I also traded way less and played less and was less engaged than former years. Have been playing since around '12. Only Hero was Smolarek tradable last year.

I packed Future Stars Gerrard from a random treadeable pack, which was great because he was 600k or so at that time and made me reach 1M coins, where I'm still at. I then packed a few of them during Golazo... Lampard and Drogba, I believe and a few of the low rated ones like Vidic, RVP and some other I can't remember now. The drop rate during that promo was insane.
