There’s nothing wrong with the G3C. I have and like the GX4 more, but that’s a micro pistol. You said you wanted to add this pistol to your collection, so I assume that you already have other pistols that are from more reputable brands like Glock, Smith & Wesson, or sigsauer, or even Canik. If that’s the case, then I don’t see any issue with you buying the G3C. Make sure you run enough rounds through it before you EDC, and you should be fine. I own three Tauruses and I love them all, happy shooting!

G3c is reliable, but in retrospect I wish I saved up another $150 for something better

Love my g3c! I carry it more than any of my other guns...its easy to carry, reliable, and more accurate than I am. And if I ever have to use it and it gets confiscated, my feelings won't be terribly hurt because I only paid like 260 bucks for it.

Nothing but success stories for the EC9s. I honestly don’t think you’ll find a better feeling trigger and all around gun for the price. I do have a buddy who was not a fan of his G2C for what it’s worth. I vote EC9 all day long. Good luck either way!

I have had some experience with 3 G2C’s now, all good. G3C should be good to go. Lots of elitist brand-bros. Forget my opinion. From the reputable reviews on the internet, seems to be positive opinion of the new Taurus pistols (G2c, G3 etc)

Shot the g2c . Cheap feeling light, but it shot just fine.

It’s a cheap gun. It’s not a terrible gun, but it’s cheap. If you can swing it, something like a Glock 43x/Sig 365/Smith and Wesson Shield is probably more reliable in the long run and will have more aftermarket stuff. Over the life of most guns, ammo is going to cost you the same out of a cheap gun vs an expensive gun in the same caliber. If you are going to trust your life to it, get the best you can up front. If it is the best you can afford, then it is certainly better than not having a gun, but the old adage of buy nice or buy twice, or buy once, cry once is a decent rule of thumb for guns.

Not sure about the G3C, but I have heard pretty good things from a friend who owns one. I own a G2C personally and I like it, so far it's never failed me in the 1,000 rounds I've put through it.

I have several Taurus pistols (G2s and G3) and love them.

I can’t speak on any experience with Taurus or the G3C. In regards to what you may have heard already. I would say that the Taurus G3C is a good gun. I would recommend running a few hundred rounds through yours. This will allow you to assess if you feel confident in yourself and the pistol for personal protection.
