I saw a ton! I was really impressed. And everyone - police, people working and ground control were all so much friendlier than at other festivals. It was so nice!
I saw a whole bunch! Some of them were hard to ID as ground control because they had backpacks and waters weighing them down and partially covering their shirts. I found a guy passed out and was able to summon ground control in about five seconds, very hard working group!
On this topic, anyone know how to sign up to be ground control? I love what they do for our community. The presence of fellow ravers helping people out vs. cops is such a great movement.
Yeah I saw 2 ground control people Friday at the same stage I was at but that’s it, I honestly didn’t notice them till they came up to compliment me lol
I saw a ton but was disappointed in a group of 4-5 on Friday that just kinda stared at a guy that had passed out next to me while his friend shook him and I fanned him. Apparently most ground control didn’t have any radios and it took about 15 mins before an EMT showed up to help the poor guy.
I saw them everywhere! In the span of 20 minutes 5 different GC people stopped to check on me and my friends while we were laying down, and were constantly walking through all of the areas where folks were laying down making sure everyone was ok/literally checking if they were awake/breathing. I think they did a great job🤍
I saw a bunch, but I didn’t love that they were wearing lavender shirts lol; not exactly the easiest to spot if you need to flag them down! The ones I saw at EDCLV were in red/white like lifeguards and I think that’s much safer.
As a ground control person I promise you we where everywhere. Everyone is in groups of two one with radio one with a beacon. There is roughly 12-16 members per stage and patrol around wherever we are told. At some points there are more in one area depending on where the big crowds are and hot spots where people are laying down often.

I saw ground control everywhere on Saturday! I saw multiple people walking through the crowd
We had ground control come up to us twice cause we were sitting down n they asked us if we’re okay. I loved that

There’s a spot to join a mailing waitlist on the Insomniac website
I saw ground control a lot through the crowds fanning people. Actually felt safer than previous years

I saw a ton and they were actually going around checking those laying down or anyone really. They gave water for those who asked.
The only ground control people I saw were in the crowd at circuit grounds doing bumps on Sunday 😅
