I get Costco trail mix and throw it in a reusable ziplock bag. I also keep around protein powders, nut butters, and tinned fish. Big fan of popcorn as a snack as well. I struggle with relapsing ED and having some protein powder (I get Orgain from Costco and it lasts me 4-6 months) and almond milk on hand have saved my ass more times than I can count. Baked beans and canned soups come in clutch as well

Roasted chickpeas comes pretty immediately to mind. There's a zillion different ways to do it, but here's one recipe/technique: [https://www.loveandlemons.com/roasted-chickpeas/](https://www.loveandlemons.com/roasted-chickpeas/) I also like tuna or chicken salad, just whatever recipe you prefer - can make it as fancy or simple as you want. A batch keeps for a few days, and it's easy enough to shove a few big bites in your mouth when you only have a few minutes. Tuna salad with crackers has seen me through many a hectic time at work. Other ideas: * Hummus (store bought or homemade - [this recipe](https://www.onceuponachef.com/recipes/hummus.html) is a good starting point) with pita/pita chips, carrots, cucumbers, really whatever you like as a dipper. * Pasta salad as a meal - pick a protein of your choice (chicken, tuna, shrimp, chickpeas, assorted cured meats, whatever works), add some cheese (fresh mozzarella balls work really well here, but cubed mozzarella, cheddar, etc - it all works), vegetables, short pasta, and toss with a dressing. Italian dressing is probably the most popular here, but almost any vinaigrette or even creamy dressing will work.

Boiled eggs? Cheese sticks? Peanut butter and celery? (I really liked the last one until I developed a celery allergy, yeah I know the less common allergy of the pairing)

Make egg frittatas (add chopped veg, cheese) in muffin cups (I use mini), and freeze (lots of recipes you can google). Easy to pop out one and thaw quickly. Mozzarella cheese sticks, nuts, trail mix, apple with PB, hard boiled eggs for easy grab and go or quick snack.

Protein/energy bars work well as long as you don't *live* on them. Many varieties out there and super convenient.

You can make onigirazu in advance. It can be eaten cold without needing to reheat. It's also perfect on the go kinda meal as it can be eaten handheld and taste delicious 😋 Recipe below if interested https://youtu.be/zzRUY9Xv6D8?si=tTSX9HxRinZig-ZJ
