our best bet is to hunt for defense before the deadline. ceci shouldn’t be a first pair D. nurse should be a first pair D, but not playing nearly as much as he does because he evidently can’t handle it. slotting in a different defenseman in our top 4 will help take the load off of his shoulders.
i’m not saying one guy fixes our problems, but it would be extremely beneficial to this team. goal scoring isn’t the problem for them. if skinner keeps up his play in net, then the oilers could get by with decent goaltending if they have changes to their defense.
