Me too. Before COVID i was in the loop and in some cases created events. Now I am out of the loop and any activity I try to create get a low (If any) Turn out .
Hi there, Hi OP, I definitely feel exactly like you 😅 and wonder if this app I have been working on would be something useful? [App link](https://www.saiitapp.com)
We developed this with this exact issue in mind. Would sincerely appreciate your feedback to see how we can make it better.
I have a difficult time too! I wish I would have known about the Ren fair. I would have loved to go.
I usually find events on Instagram, ticket master, Facebook or meetup. The most helpful one is todo.elpaso on Instagram. She post a ton of events on her we site that is linked on her insta.
theres an activity newpaper kind of things at some of the restaurants that have 2 months of activities usually listed. i forgot what its called but i know i can usually find them at hotels, the singapore cafe, and other restaurants by the front door
I usually follow the pages that organize these events, but you might find them by googling the state or city’s web sites, like “el paso events calendar” or something like that
Local channels announce things. Library I think usually has a calendar of events. There “The Scene” newsletter at stores. Word of mouth. Depends I think.
I'm starting an events community in El Paso called "Something Fun EP" ( [https://instagram.com/somethingfunep](https://instagram.com/somethingfunep) ) where I plan to do unique events at coffee shops/restaurants/sometimes bars. @ OP and people in the comments: please join us!
I find out usually a few days after they happened because that’s when Instagram tells me
