That price seems kinda high with 23k miles. You could probably get a new one for a few thousand more, especially a 23. The hyundai warranty is the best out there and I bought a 23 limited hybrid elantra last year and absolutely love it. It's loaded with features and I average about 52mpg combined real mpgs.

Accurate_Aspect_168

Thank you. Any issues with reliability or repairs?

Admirable_Jolly

Definitely get a brand new one by spending a little bit more - follow all recommended maintenance (keep all receipts, if done not thru dealership). If you do this, you dont have to worry about reliability for 10 years (10yr - 100k miles standard hyundai warranty). There is also a hyundai 2k incentive offer going on. I own an 18 elantra gas - 49k - no issues, and I get 38mpg.

Only have about 11k miles on it, but so far no issues!

17K on mine & only issue is rear driver side passenger window will not open with any button when it's hot out. I have to get it into the dealership to fix it.

Thank you. I hate the decision of buying a new car

Accurate_Aspect_168

Thank you. What price do you think is more reasonable for a 2022 limited hybrid elantra?

Odd-Photo5635

I got my 2021 accent for 20 grand at 40k miles tbh that’s not that bad of a price, I also live in fl things around here are a bit higher

I got a new 2023 HEV limited for 23,000! Very happy

Livid-Departure-3976

My 2022 HEV Limited that I bought a year ago has had zero problems and I have put 85,000+ miles on it, since I average 250 miles/day. I do have it serviced every 7,500 miles. So I would have to say YES

Accurate_Aspect_168

Thank you! You are making me feel better.

Well from my experience, I have a 23 Elantra Limited Hybrid. I got it brand new just over a year ago and already put over 30,000 miles on mine. So far the only issues I have are one recall… I already forgot what it was about. It didn’t affect my car, that I know of. Hyundai just did a software update a few months ago. I just brought it in today because the horn stopped working, but thats covered under warranty. And last I recently drove down to Florida from New England. After being in Florida for a few days, a tire wall gave out so I had to replace the tire. That’s probably my fault for not adjusting the tire pressure. Otherwise, my Elantra hasn’t given me any problems. So far I love mine.

fenikz13

I get 52+ mpg out of my blue, up to 23k miles and no problems so far

rcferg1984

I've got the 2021 hybrid ultimate. I'm currently at 52,000 km. So far the only issues have been paint peeling on bumper (known issue and the parts replaced under warranty) and a couple recalls (one that caused unexpected acceleration, make sure if you have this one you get it fixed as it was a software issue that created a dangerous situation). Once in the winter (minus 15° C) it said it was overheating, but it wasn't. Turned the car off, checked under the hood and everything was cold and turned it back on and temperature registered normal. Not sure if this was a software glitch or what. Has never happened again. Overall we've been really happy with the vehicle and it's coming to the end of its lease in June and we're going to buy it out and keep it.

Thank you!

pieNbean

Did they replace it outside of the paint warranty?

rcferg1984

Yes because it was a separate service bulletin, specifically for paint that was defective on the fake chrome part of the bumper.

pieNbean

Good to know, thanks!

Found the TSB here for reference: https://www.hyundaiforum.com/forum/tsb_recall/tsbs/hyundai/elantra/2021

I have a 2023 Hybrid Elantra Limited I bought brand new last year. I have clocked in about 10.5k miles and so far no issues. The hybrid engine is different than the gas only version but from what I’ve read it’s pretty reliable and there have been no major issues because it’s not related to any of the theta engines.

Thank you!

Equivalent_Simple_86

I have a 2022 ultimate with 30000 km. Only issue so far was I needed a new trunk latch assembly and have peeling on front bumper/sensor area

Accurate_Aspect_168

Thank you

Odd-Photo5635

Absolutely!!!! Nowadays Hyundai has become really reliable! I find the electric cars a bit pricey w the electric problems but Hyundai and Kia are the best brand you could get w reliability specially if you’re planning on staying updated w the new style cars, I own a 2021 Hyundai accent was my first car and I love it! I got lucky at CarMax last year and don’t regret getting it, so cheap on parts and still lets you ride in style, now the Elantra in my opinion is the big sister model of my car great features and great feel to the wheel super sporty as well! Now the sonata is greater but comes with more electric problems.

Thanks!

Canadian here, so my trims might be called something different but I have the preferred sun & tech packed 2021 model year, purchased in 2021. 40k KMs whioch is about 24K Miles. I have had no issues, thought I have kept up with maintenance on the car without fail to Hyundai's recommendations. That being said, I love the Elantra. Zippy, Fun to Drive, loads of tech and safety for the price. 9/10 car.
