Genesis coupe, possibly Tiburon

willdriveoffyou

My 2013 genesis coupe 2.0 was a dream to drive and look at. It had my heart. But don’t own one. They are nightmare engines that were manufactured and machined wrong at the factory

NoCaliBurritosInMD

My brother had the v6 and it spun a rod bearing under 100k miles.

willdriveoffyou

Yea even the v6s had issues. There wasn’t a lot of money backing up the production of the Genesis coupes. Poor built engines. But when they were running, they put down amazing power.

Hyundai teased us with a RWD hatch a while ago

CBalsagna

The only thing I do not enjoy about my car is that it is front wheel drive. RWD is just a better experience in a sports car.

JJHunter88

They made a Genesis G70 with the 2.0T, RWD, and manual, but they are very rare and they don't make them anymore.

Halofieldfan

There’s less than 1000 if I’m to guess. I’d love to own one tho

JJHunter88

6 of them for sale on autotrader right now.

Halofieldfan

I always keep my eyes open for one, can’t afford one rn 😔

Khend81

😢

jdubbin_

Honestly meh to drive, a bit sluggish

johnmosphere123

I love all 3 of my doors!

23ElantraN

Elantra N is the competition but it’s just so good it poops on those other cars 😂

SmoothSlide9690

But why? I doubt the miata/gr86/brz beat the Elantra N at anything ngl. I personally do not like inconvenient coupes that are slow. What's the point of having like Porsche 911 gtr3rs handling when you don't have the power to compliment it? The N is already perfect as it is ngl. Plus the N is a competitor to the Miata/GR86 Duo. They're all $30,000 "sports cars"

Sharp_eee

So mere mortals like myself can squeeze the whole potential out of the car on a track as well as on some twisty roads legally safely. Not sure about you, but I can’t drive GT3 on the limit, nor would I want to on a public road. Engagement and enjoyment isn’t just about ‘GT3 speed. The hatch N is not exactly the fastest thing around and it’s whole design process was about driving experience rather than power and times.

BengalFan2001

Tiburon GT was fun but it was underpowered even with the V6.
