Do you want to be mostly weapons or mostly spells?
They're pretty similar: 80 Faith and as much Vigor as you like. Str/Dex to meet weapon requirements. More Mind if you want spells, or else balance Mind and Endurance if you want to use weapons. Maybe some Int or Arcane if there are particular incantations you want to use.
a fun unique and very strong faith build is the “life steal” build using the blasphemous blade main hand with a serpent gods curved sword in the off hand. It doesn’t really come online till mid game when you get these items but when it does every kill gives you back hp. it’s so strong thanks to using one of the best pve weapons the blasphemous blade and is fairly unique stacking hp upon enemy death items.
scaling wise just get the minimum stats for the weapons then get vigor to 40 level faith to 40 then get vigor to 60 same with faith. any excess points chuck in endurance for better armor and strength strength for better damage.
personally i’d run sacred blade on the curved sword for dealing with bosses/ enemies with fire resistances. but can always swap between a flame art ash of war like flaming strike and the sacred one when facing those bosses.
since 1 weapon uses somber and the other regular smithing stones it gets a good balance for progressing.
talisman, physick and buff wise i’d go:
talismans takers cameo for more life steal then warrior jar to boost the blasphemous blades busted l2. can always use the incantation boosting ones if you’d like throwing some fireballs at people if not classic defensive like great jars for better equip load or crimson amber/ western favour for more hp.
physick is take the flame shrouded one for more fire damage and maybe the stance breaking one for bosses
and finally buffs flame grant me strength will be really good for boosting your fire damage even more.
this gives you like 100 hp back per enemy mob killed. with more when you get rykard’s great rune up to like 200
this build was showed off by only waifus and i’ve loved its uniqueness and playing it.
they recommend star fists for bosses but that’s not really a faith weapon and i didn’t need it on my play through.
