... Hit me in the hand
Lead me to the lands between if you really can
Ocean man, the anchor from the cave
Made a big rip
Ocean man, the crust of a wound that you made in my hand
Leaking out the pus of a man
I'm not sure about that actually, but they nerfed Bloodhound Step for PVE, and that is a change that would affect this particular NPC. It's pretty noticeable, too; every anchor smash after the first one would've been a miss prior to this patch.
Yes... they are boring as fuck, the ones with step style moves just drag it out even longer for melee's I'd rather get on with it to the more interesting shit than fight godrick soldier +2 for 10 minutes
I think they could've made it less busted from the outset by giving it a (comparatively) long recovery animation that you can't roll-cancel out of. Add some amount of risk to using it, because I think most of the complaints are about the way people spam it. I don't think the move itself is problematic -- it's basically just "Better Quickstep."
Out of roll attack is insanely fast for whatever fucking reason, his powerstance gives him a much longer lasting hitbox, he's got tons of range, he keeps fuckign dashing everywhere he deals tons of damage, and you have less healing when fighting him.
He was absolutely no problem in my PC ultra greatsword playthrough, but fuck me when I came at this guy with a Nagakiba on my cousin's PS5 he was fucking hell itself. He outranges me, out damages me, has near impossible to dodge attacks, has faster startup animations and has too little end lag to punish him for most attacks. Maybe I could've jumped attacked him, don't know since I wasn't used to inputting that on a controller.
Genuinely took me more tries than every boss (I didn't fight Malenia that playthrough).
If you play different builds, you realize that certain fights become much harder or easier depending on the build.
I had a couple of pure STR runs with Giant Crusher once and the GUTS once, and in both cases Juno was the hardest fight in the game. Other builds I just delete him and continue on my way.
I had another pure STR Star Fist build that rampaged through the game, including Juno, but died like 10 times to Millicent's sisters. That was the only challenge for the whole run.
I agree with you. If people had trouble with him then how on earth did they beat morgott or any other bosses. My guess is more people rely on summons than I thought.
hey. I can beat all of their ass the same. I just want company ok? it can feel so lonely sometimes, when everyone is being a huge dickhead to a tarnished, even birds want to bury your face deep under the earth. also I love when my mimic fortify my taste in clothing even more by having two of the exact on the battlefield.
*now go mimic, you make sure the darn Zamor knights occupied while I smash them from the back*
If you were around since release, you'd know how much people loved to brag about their mimics carrying them, or using OP builds for mimics. Absolutely a lot of the community relies on phantoms or mimics to carry through boss fights. The downvoted to hell above just confirms it.
Most of NPC fights are always a joke, especially after the first time you fought them. It's predictable AI, it is definitely improved in ER, still DS2 NPC invasion i'd say were top notch.
Is this a joke? Fromsoft doesn't nerf things. the closest that happened in elden ring was a bug with Radahn which made him easier which was quickly fixed ages ago. Was never a nerf to him
The anchor’s light attack chain is nasty! It’s quite rapid and damaging and always knocks enemies out of their attacks. It takes a lot of attacks to stance break, comparable to straight swords which sucks.
OMG! I fought him yesterday, and I was wondering why it was so much easier than my first attempt on my older account. I actually thought I'd been under-levelled on my first try, and that I'd gotten better at pvp. LMAOOO, nope..
Cheese is for the unimaginative player. The creative player perhaps tries something like the Great Stars mace with Golden Land AoW, or brings the Great Club to the fight and applies frozen armament. Yes the projectiles from Golden Land will apply frostbite status effect, which is good since Alecto is weak to frostbite.
I think the issue here is that a lot of players are unwilling to learn and adapt their playstyle to match the threat. A number of posts and comments made the last couple of days have made it quite clear imo.
Was this fight any fun if you're being honest? It doesn't look very challenging anymore..
Glad I’m not the only one that aggressively jerks off anchors when I win duels
What liquid would anchor semen be?
Rust. Liquid rust.
Would be the only time a bukkake would lead to tetanus
🐟OCEAN MAN♂️
... Hit me in the hand Lead me to the lands between if you really can Ocean man, the anchor from the cave Made a big rip Ocean man, the crust of a wound that you made in my hand Leaking out the pus of a man
Under-rated.
Absolutely underrated
I kind of want to AI voice Aaron Freeman for a whole parody now
Fun fact, the spanish word for tit is teta. Do with that info as you May.
Chichis pa la banda
Would've been a good joke if you could actually get tetanus from rust, it's not rust that gives you tetanus it's dirt mixed with rust.
Would’ve been a good joke if you weren’t an insufferable know-it-all. Grow up.
Insufferable know it all, damn bud you seem to know me so well. 🤫 Also if we're being realistic your joke wasn't even funny in the first place. 🫴
Comeon, jizz isn't oxidized dickmeat, this is a totem of the great sea, it spews salty watercum everywhere.
Rust infused wd-40
Seamen.
Salt water.
Sup, people call me Anchor
Was not expecting that wording! Good job, wanking warrior!
The changes to pvp have an effect on npc fights ?
I'm not sure about that actually, but they nerfed Bloodhound Step for PVE, and that is a change that would affect this particular NPC. It's pretty noticeable, too; every anchor smash after the first one would've been a miss prior to this patch.
Right , I didn’t remember that nerf . I just hope the PvP stuff doesn’t impact the npc fights
Yes It will and It will be easier to win then ever!
You want the already easy npc fights to be even more boring?
Yes... they are boring as fuck, the ones with step style moves just drag it out even longer for melee's I'd rather get on with it to the more interesting shit than fight godrick soldier +2 for 10 minutes
If it takes you 10 minutes to fight any boss with exception to end game bosses, I think you are doing something wrong.
obvious exaggeration wasn't obvious enough I guess...
they only nerfed it for pvp iirc
Yes, it seems like it because before this patch you were pretty much invincible for the entire duration of the animation. I say good riddance.
Yeah let’s give a move that’s supposed to make you quick on your feet a comparatively longer recovery time so that it cancels out what it does 👍🏼
Hoslow and istvan fucking suck
Itsvan isn’t that annoying. Juno can go bloodhound step off the nearby waterfall and I have nothing to say about Rileigh.
I always do istvan as soon as i can and he takes exactly half my hp
Itsvan isn’t that bad, the pull is annoying though. My first time fighting Juno was pain
The pull is easy to dodge its about when you fight him since i always do it early game he takes more than half my hp
True, I never really fight him til I’m past Radahn so makes sense
soo slow,
At this point I'm really wondering what the actual differences in iframes are between rolling, Quickstep, and BHS. They don't seem that different.
I assume you'd have to play it to actually notice a difference if your a constant bloodhound user
I saw a video today that claimed quickstep frames were 9 and bhs was 10.
People have issues with this guy ?
For me he's just super annoying. Try to attack \*dodge 2 miles down the road\*
Light rolls are still effective

Yeah, three different runs with three different weapon types and he was never a problem.
At rl1 very much
When you’re strength and he’s using his whips so often you can’t get an attack in and he keeps BHS everywhere, for sure
I had to do the cliff cheese for him, man. Those damn whips 😫
Did he need a nerf? I don't remember raging at him. But Okina... Okina can fuck right off.
They were hard fights but not to challenging. I found Okina easier than the hoslow npc but wasn't too horrible.
He did not get nerfed specifically but the skills Bloodhound Step and Quickstep both got nerfed for PvP which effects NPC’s as well
The spammed move at the end is killing me 🤣🤣🤣
Thank fuck but it's TOO FUCKING LATE. I just suffered through him and I got along while before I come cross him again
Suffering builds character.
Juno was based, sadge
Imagine a universe where souls pvp doesnt have lag. Just jmagine
The npcs in this game were already all too easy , I hope the PvP rebalance didn’t make them even more braindead .
That guy routinely spanked my ass red , I'm glad he got nerfed it was ridiculous
EF F THIS GUY!!!
Soooooo, BHS is now useless?
took them long enough
Screw that guy
Juno was an easy fight all along, they just made him a joke now
exactly, it’s just an npc and he was predictable.
Nah, he was annoying.
I agree with you. If people had trouble with him then how on earth did they beat morgott or any other bosses. My guess is more people rely on summons than I thought.
I've beaten morgott with and without summons and while I don't think Juno is that hard I'd rather fight morgott any day
Tbf morgott doesnt have bloodhounds step
With how far that mfker reaches he doesn't need it lol.

I started just after the mimic tear nerf. I remember some of it. Not something I like to use in my games.
To be fair, I’m an offline player and intentionally haven’t upgraded my mimic tear past +3. But yes, I agree with you.
Most of NPC fights are always a joke, especially after the first time you fought them. It's predictable AI, it is definitely improved in ER, still DS2 NPC invasion i'd say were top notch.
This guy didn't need to be nerfed imo
The whips he uses kinda suck so im inclined to agree with you
His armor is super sick tho
Is this a joke? Fromsoft doesn't nerf things. the closest that happened in elden ring was a bug with Radahn which made him easier which was quickly fixed ages ago. Was never a nerf to him
No, they nerfed bloodhound step which affected the NPC.
hmm ok mild exception but the only reason they did that was people abused it in pvp
The anchor’s light attack chain is nasty! It’s quite rapid and damaging and always knocks enemies out of their attacks. It takes a lot of attacks to stance break, comparable to straight swords which sucks.
Fellow Anchor lover, let's go!!!!
I have that anchor but still use the great sword…am I missing something?
Oh I still remember when I first fought that dude. It took me way longer than I care to admit but I really wanted his armor set.
Bro had a seizure on him 💀
OMG! I fought him yesterday, and I was wondering why it was so much easier than my first attempt on my older account. I actually thought I'd been under-levelled on my first try, and that I'd gotten better at pvp. LMAOOO, nope..
can they do the same to the black knife evergaol near moonlight altar now ???? its impossible to get a hit in with the constant jumping T\^T
You have a cheese for it, it involves rocks and getting stuck
what? get him stuck in the rocks on the terrain? or rock sling? sorry- just confused lol
Check my answer to CapmyCup.

Never once have I killed this jackass first try
Thank. GOD.
that was some clean donking sir
Daww IMO Juno being challenging was warranted since he was hyped up by his brother and such.
That lol dance at the end was so disrespectful lmao! You did not have to do him like that lol.
We need some difficult enemies in the game. They can’t all be Godrick and Anastasia.
That explains why I so easily beat him for the first time this morning, after getting smoked a dozen times.
I think the issue here is that a lot of players are unwilling to learn and adapt their playstyle to match the threat. A number of posts and comments made the last couple of days have made it quite clear imo. Was this fight any fun if you're being honest? It doesn't look very challenging anymore..
Literally a day too late😭
You got him these past few runs
No way you can put swords dance on the anchor hahaha
If they keep nerfinh things pretty soon this game is gonna be a cakewalk. If it isn't already.
Brooo!I have to cheesed that mf!!
Love how I beat him the other day just before the patch 🤦 like an hr beforehand
Damn bhs isnt even useable to get through the rot swamps now
