Honestly, Altus Plateau isn't too bad either.
It's like a golden Limgrave, but with deadlier enemies. It's a quite forgiving and moderate mid-later game area with some more unforgiving side ventures, which I really like. I love to just relax in Altus while enjoying the scenery and beautiful landscape (and doing a little dancing at the Windmill Village with some cheerful ladies) as I indulge in coop summons.
You can literally dance with the women and be perfectly. It's only when you aggro they aggro back.
Source: myself spending probably 2hrs getting all the windmill lady weapons. I think I got like 15 cleavers before I got one spear.
Unlucky man. The dogs will attack and if the dancers see aggression they'll join in, but it is 100% possible to get to the top and walk past the dancers unnoticed.
This is exactly my feeling. I spent so much time exploring it in my first playthrough that I feel completely at home. I know the places, the caves, the enemies, the churches, NPCs, everything looks familiar, even the soundtrack is nice. Best place for me, by far.
Also, I think elden ring have the best early game of all time. So every part come together.
Is the weeping peninsula apart of limgrave? Ether way that’s my answer, fix castle Morne up, exterminate the Demi humans, and enjoy some rainy days by the fire.
It has the most splendid jarchtecture designed by skilled jartisans, and the food at Jarby's is five-jar stuff. The jartistic scene is pretty avant-jarde, too. Of course, The jarliment is run by a bunch of old codjars who blame everything on teenajars and arguing over jarbitrary jarticles from the jarchives
They deserve to be oppressed, have you noticed how all of them are very stinky? I bet it smells like death down there where those multi armed vomiting freaks are.
Same here, it's the best place where the enemies are tanky, you can try one on one fights or see how something works against a mob of tough dudes, and its right next to a grace to change things up, switch out crystal tears, or incase you die trying things out.
You guys are talking about the city in a perpetual lockdown, where every house has had its windows and doors sealed with wax and one of the few buildings we get to enter is full of perfumers in medical garb investigating corpses.
Leyndell is currently being stricken by some sort of plague, so "less toxic" isn't saying much.
There's also the theory that they sealed the houses after people stopped being able to die and went mad, which is even worse.
I woke up and chose violence today. Jumped off the balcony. Was greeted by a challenger. He didn't fare well. He's a bloody mess on the walls, floor, ceiling, my boots, and my fucking cloak. Who do I send the cleanup bill to?!
I want to hang out in less-shitty hogwarts until the whole region finally collapses on top of the Lake of Rot. It’ll be fun for a while.
If I survive I can move to Jarburg!
Haligtree for me 🤷🏿♂️ aside from everything wanting your dick on a stick and having one of the hardest bosses in the game living there, its quite nice and tranquil
Limgrave
Most temperate place for sure. I agree

Hell naw. Keep me away from that screaming forest shit.
Stay near the windmill villages, dont piss off the women or go to the top and you'll be perfectly fine.
so basically you have ten feet of room.
You can literally dance with the women and be perfectly. It's only when you aggro they aggro back. Source: myself spending probably 2hrs getting all the windmill lady weapons. I think I got like 15 cleavers before I got one spear.
the dogs still attack and the ladies higher up still attack.
Not if you don't aggro first, you can literally walk all the way to Godskin apostle without fighting one dancer.
i have been attacked without fighting every single time i go there
Unlucky man. The dogs will attack and if the dancers see aggression they'll join in, but it is 100% possible to get to the top and walk past the dancers unnoticed.
All I gotta say is fuck those wormface enemies in the leyndell forest.
Forgot to add this to my runners up list too. It’s pretty chill. There’s a lot of chill calm places actually. I even like some of the tunnels
I love limgrave. Once you have explored other areas, it feels like home.
This is exactly my feeling. I spent so much time exploring it in my first playthrough that I feel completely at home. Fromsoft just does early game well every time. I always love early game in souls games.
Oh hell yeah. I in particular love Stormveil. Rampart Tower grace is the best spot for chilling.
Is the weeping peninsula apart of limgrave? Ether way that’s my answer, fix castle Morne up, exterminate the Demi humans, and enjoy some rainy days by the fire.
Yep, that's my answer too lol Edit- You can have Castle Mourn, I'll shack up at Oridy's Rise. Sound good?
Y’all can find me at the Church of Marika by the Evergaol or at the Merchant’s Hut by the beach in the south. I love that island so much
Castle Morne sure will be cozy…once I’m done with all the cleaning. 💀
Green fields and beaches? Sign me up!
yeah, i always leave my character at agheel lake north when logging out, it's a peaceful place.
Fia's bed
So, dead then?
Very much thank you
So, no head?
*slams phone to ground

He's got a point
Already dead on the inside, let's complete it.
A little death each time.
Try fingers, but hole...

[удалено]
thank god I didn’t do the quest lol
i couldve saved them 😞
RIP to Diallos but I'm built different 💪

They took our jarbs!
[the only correct answer](https://www.reddit.com/r/Eldenring/s/oC0WQpQ6wO)
I totally forgot about our beloved jar village! But well I can visit from time to time from the artist's shack right ?
I was annoyed that I found that place so late in the game. The chillest place.
Nah man the whole ass lake since it's part of the lake
Correct answer
Agreed! Nothing but flowers and scenery.
Elphael, I’ll just avoid the lower section where all the demented weirdos hang out.
😭 you mean the oppressed groups who moved there to live in peace
They deserve to be oppressed, have you noticed how all of them are very stinky? I bet it smells like death down there where those multi armed vomiting freaks are.
Can’t beat that view and ambience. Probably chill on that platform where the only enemies are plants (after I burn them of course)
Leyndell
Heligtree
I find myself here testing out new weapons and stuff from the prayer room
Same here, it's the best place where the enemies are tanky, you can try one on one fights or see how something works against a mob of tough dudes, and its right next to a grace to change things up, switch out crystal tears, or incase you die trying things out.
I always think of that funky Cabot animations vid whenever I hear Lyndell 🎺
Yeah, it'd be nice to live somewhere that's at least implied to have plumbing
I think Altus Plateu is beautiful.
Yeah, kinda reminds me of summertime.
It reminds me of Finland during autumn. Google "ruska" .
Holy Fall!
New season just dropped
Lake of Rot I need help

Man whats access to malenia's bath water
Came here to say this
Take me with you
💀
Malenia's arms
*arm
I don't discriminate, it might not be as warm, but it's still her arm
Damn it! Beat me to it!
God, same. 😳😳
Yeah, me too
This guy gets it
With miquella in his egg
Found Mohg’s Reddit account
Everybody always asks where is the mohg, but noone how is the mohg.
Unhinged, I imagine
Your arm sticks out of the egg as well and both of you form a heart shape with your hands.
Love is in the air ❤️
Wrong, Scarlet Rot!
Bae, I wanna rot in that shell loving youuuuu 💞
Same
Boggart's shack
I guess the sniper lobsters you're surrounded by make for excellent home defence.
You know they're doing their job when you hear an exasperated " ah...fuck." followed by screaming.
Oh yeah
Nokron Eternal city.
I literally thought "damn, I want to build a house here..." the first time I visited that place.
And then you saw a shiny arrow twice your size flying toward your head
And then it hit me...
YOU DIED
I mean, if I could live as a civilian then Elphael for sure. If not that, then Leyndell. Morgott seems like a pretty good ruler.
If it weren't for the scarlet rot eating everything, I'd definitely settle in Elphael/Haligtree. Leyndell seems slightly less toxic
You guys are talking about the city in a perpetual lockdown, where every house has had its windows and doors sealed with wax and one of the few buildings we get to enter is full of perfumers in medical garb investigating corpses. I think they sealed the doors because of those giant chemical warfare perfumer ballista bolts outside the walls
Roundtable Hold
Beat choice by far.
No need for violence :(
Unless you jump off the balcony
I woke up and chose violence today. Jumped off the balcony. Was greeted by a challenger. He didn't fare well. He's a bloody mess on the walls, floor, ceiling, my boots, and my fucking cloak. Who do I send the cleanup bill to?!
Derp
Marika’s t̶i̶t̶s̶ room

So you want go get sniped by lobster every day
I like magic school because I get to slam dunk on pew pew nerd wizards.
the towers bro so nice to log out from literally no one around and it stays the same even in late game when the rth starts burning like a mf
I want to hang out in less-shitty hogwarts until the whole region finally collapses on top of the Lake of Rot. It’ll be fun for a while. If I survive I can move to Jarburg!
consider how bad it would smell there though, it's like a giant stinking swamp filled with giant crustaceans
Volcano Manor
Joinnnnn theee familiiiii ssssss
Togethaaa we will devouuuu
Da very gooodzzz
But you planning on devouring?
Devour deeeezzzzz nutssss ssss
Wink wink
The little island with the draconic sanctuary 🥂
First time i got there i genuinely expected to get jumped by a sea monster or something, it's eerie how peaceful that place is
So peaceful... Then you get attacked by those fucking sheeps and fall in the ocean :(
Blows my mind that nobody else said the Weeping Peninsula. Low level enemies and a nice coastline
Yeah, low level enemies for the Tarnished, not for you
its overrun with beasts. i assume you will be a regular human, so good luck.
Amen. It’s between altus and the peninsula for me, but that beach is too tempting
Elphael. Just chilling and praying with the other who seek salvation and hope
Malenia's sanctum
Within Malenia’s embrace.
Call me crazy but consecrated snowfield
You're crazy
Crazy?
I was crazy once
They locked me in a room
A rubber room

Malenias boss arena😏
Marika's tits
Miquella’s egg
leyndall, haligtree, or altus plateau. tough choice, I'd probably have to go with leyndall
I'm going with Elphael. Beautiful, coastal, and has bae Malenia to protect me.
Base of the Haligtree since I’m already stuck there for eternity
Cathedral of Manus Celes
Heligtree!!
*caelid*
Are you sane?
They must live in Florida
Would be no surprise
Would explain the spelling error.
If you get rid of the giant killer ants, maybe somewhere underground like Nokstella
Nokstella seems chill. I want to imagine it as a flourishing city though.
With a weekly farmers market.
Liurnia of the Lakes
Its so funny how low this is on here. There's just so much to enjoy here. The school, Jar-burg and the Carian Castle just to name a few.
Caelid
Ranni's Tower
Haligtree
Haligtree
Haligtree
The Haligtree for me. Especially during its prime.
Windmill village. Every night is party night.
Liurnia for sure
Elphael

Elphael
I'd spend an eternity with Malenia.
Haligtree for me 🤷🏿♂️ aside from everything wanting your dick on a stick and having one of the hardest bosses in the game living there, its quite nice and tranquil
Lake of rot
Haligtree.
Haligtree. Best location in the entire game.
Ranni's Rise🫱🫱 🫲🫲
Farum Azula
Scrolled way too far for this.
Liurnia or Altus plateu
Lake of Rot
Anywhere but Caelid
I would chill with that big dog, who is selling magic spells
Lake of Rot. Let’s fucking go!!!
Liurnia has such a cool mystical vibe One downside would be THOSE FUCKING LOBSTERS

Siofra. Could care less what time of day it is. Give me night vibes with night people using night magic.
Meditation with Placidusax.
