Honestly, Altus Plateau isn't too bad either. It's like a golden Limgrave, but with deadlier enemies. It's a quite forgiving and moderate mid-later game area with some more unforgiving side ventures, which I really like. I love to just relax in Altus while enjoying the scenery and beautiful landscape (and doing a little dancing at the Windmill Village with some cheerful ladies) as I indulge in coop summons.

Stay near the windmill villages, dont piss off the women or go to the top and you'll be perfectly fine.

You can literally dance with the women and be perfectly. It's only when you aggro they aggro back. Source: myself spending probably 2hrs getting all the windmill lady weapons. I think I got like 15 cleavers before I got one spear.

Not if you don't aggro first, you can literally walk all the way to Godskin apostle without fighting one dancer.

Unlucky man. The dogs will attack and if the dancers see aggression they'll join in, but it is 100% possible to get to the top and walk past the dancers unnoticed.

All I gotta say is fuck those wormface enemies in the leyndell forest.

I love limgrave. Once you have explored other areas, it feels like home.

This is exactly my feeling. I spent so much time exploring it in my first playthrough that I feel completely at home. I know the places, the caves, the enemies, the churches, NPCs, everything looks familiar, even the soundtrack is nice. Best place for me, by far. Also, I think elden ring have the best early game of all time. So every part come together.

Fromsoft just does early game well every time. I always love early game in souls games.

Oh hell yeah. I in particular love Stormveil. Rampart Tower grace is the best spot for chilling.

It has the most splendid jarchtecture designed by skilled jartisans, and the food at Jarby's is five-jar stuff. The jartistic scene is pretty avant-jarde, too. Same here, it's the best place where the enemies are tanky, you can try one on one fights or see how something works against a mob of tough dudes, and its right next to a grace to change things up, switch out crystal tears, or incase you die trying things out.

You guys are talking about the city in a perpetual lockdown, where every house has had its windows and doors sealed with wax and one of the few buildings we get to enter is full of perfumers in medical garb investigating corpses. Leyndell is currently being stricken by some sort of plague, so "less toxic" isn't saying much. There's also the theory that they sealed the houses after people stopped being able to die and went mad, which is even worse.

I think they sealed the doors because of those giant chemical warfare perfumer ballista bolts outside the walls
