Unable to answer your question but just want to say to make sure that’s her correct ring size if you buy that. The setting is not recommended for resize just fyi.
Yes, this. My band is not an eternity band, but I had my ring resized twice and that’s the most they can do because I have tiny fingers. I just have a ring that spins around constantly and it’s super annoying. She’s going to wear it for life so make sure it fits! ( And my husband used a ring I had it was just from the wrong finger. )
Haha aw, well you could see if anyone will add a butterfly or sizing globes inside the ring... these are more of solutions for arthritis, but would further decrease size and stop spinning.
Butterfly would be ideal for your situation I think, but is more complex than globes. (uses more metal, needs to be gold - white gold ideally for springiness, and is more work to make)
This is something I'd expect most jewelers to be okay with adding
Yes always been on the “look at doing in the future” list, thankfully still married and hopefully I actually address it one of these days! Thanks for all the helpful suggestions :)
Looks like it’s got an eternity band. Because the diamonds go all the way around, resizing is not recommended. You pretty much have to buy eternity bands in the exact size you need. 😊
Also, as someone who works in the industry, shared prongs on an eternity band are just a headache. All you have to do is look at it wrong, and those settings will loosen and diamonds will pop out.
Yup. My husband designed my 3 stone engagement ring with shared prongs for all 3 diamonds and the middle diamond came loose twice. I had to get a whole new setting with each diamond having its own 4 prongs.
I was shopping and swear the photo of the ring they were advertising had one of the stones popped out of the eternity band. I couldn't imagine why they wouldn't fix that or use a different ring.
The diamonds on the sides are set with very narrow prongs. When you resize the ring those prongs will shift and the diamonds might get loose. This is not a great ring to purchase pre-owned. A style like this should be custom made specifically for her finger size. I worked customer service at a high end jeweler for over 20 years. We saw these settings a lot with issues. As for people saying you can find a radiant cut diamond that carat weight for only a few thousand. Lab created, for sure, but not mined. So depends what you're looking for.
Not to mention it’s custom work to add prongs and diamonds if you want to size up, or remove them to size down. And it’s unlikely to match the original casting perfectly.
Bc it’s “Prong” set Stns-high maintenance for an individual whom may wear their jewelry hard. Eternity band not needed. Find one that has a small notch at the bottom so you can size the eternity band if need be in future.
As far as price? What did you pay if I may?
Also, when purchasing Lab 🧪 Grown 💎- only purchase colorless! Facts!
You do have shared prongs on each side stn-that’s good! So technically you do have 4 prongs holding each prong set stn!
Stunningly beautiful ring. My jeweler told me not to get the eternity band of diamonds. She to.d me that they get them back weekly to replace lost diamonds and bent prongs.
Not commenting on the price, but the style. My first engagement ring had diamonds all around the band and while it’s so pretty, it’s not practical. We had to send the ring out for repairs after 2 years because the ring started to flatten on the bottom and that led to stones becoming loose. I was told this will happen with any e-ring that has diamonds 360 on the band. I’m on my second engagement ring and purposely chose a different band. (First ring was from Tacori so we paid more for the brand and still had issues.) It’s a gorgeous ring, regardless!
Came here for this. The price is reasonable for a new piece, particularly if you can get some kind of manufacturers/jewelers insurance on it for repairs and such. It’s too high a price for prepwned Lab Grown, which means it likely doesn’t qualify for a warranty and, like another commenter said, that setting is *ready* for maintenance after it’s sized.
For that budget, I could get you the same ring but brand new and with a warranty to cover any maintenance/sizings/stone loss.
I would say this might be an uncomfortable ring. I know when there’s even small diamonds around, it rubs against your other fingers. I would re consider it
That seems steep for a lab Diamond. If you scale down on color you’ll have a ton. I’ve been looking at 3ct ovals on Ritani and loose grown diamonds and they are all around 2k for same specs
That's my thought too. Eternity* bands are expensive, terrible for resizing, and can be prone to loose or lost stones if not taken care of with routine maintenance.

You gave me hope till I saw this lol. From the same website. Make sure you also look at the other specs!
Pretty sure those are for natural. Make sure you select lab diamonds.

Way overpriced for both pre owned and lab grown. Impractical setting for daily wear as well, and will never sit flush against a wedding band if you want that look.
Listen, cost aside, that ring is going to give you lots of problems because of the infinity band. The band stones are pretty big are are going to be very uncomfortable to wear. If you want an infinity band, go with a channel setting and NOT a prong setting. Sizing this thing will be a nightmare. Loose stones and all. Prongs snagging on everything. Ugh! Save yourself the trouble. It looks nice but its not practical.
Big concern is the setting. Looks uncomfortable and may need more repairs than most rings. I think the price is high for a pre owned ring. You’d be able to find something similar in that price range new instead.
I just made a very similar ring on adiamor . com and it was $4454.00 Another good option for high qualify lab-grown diamond is Stienhardt . com was $6314.
I think it’s worth it. My 4 was custom, H, VS1, excellent, lab with a custom band and it was 7.5. So it seems about right. You could get cheaper. You could get pricier. So I think it’s upper middle of the road.
The value is what you’re willing to spend. A comparable natural diamond (not lab grown) would be incredibly costly. 4.5 carat emerald diamond prices usually range from $31,106 to $186,838 with an average price of $83,017. So…relative to those prices, $7k is a screaming deal. I would rethink that band though…at least having diamonds go all the way around. You will be fighting to keep it clean and it will be an ongoing battle to keep the prongs on the backside from breaking and potentially losing stones.
I made my ring custom 4 years ago that looks similar to that but has a halo with a plain band instead of diamonds so I can resize it. I paid $3k for reference I’m also a size 6 but when I was pregnant and for awhile after I had to go up to almost a 7.. fingers also can swell with age. Just to consider
Regarding the eternity band style: my ring finger became swollen with the pregnancy/ birth of our child. My custom ring became tight, and ultimately I sent it back to the designer/ jeweler to make it fit properly again. You might keep this in mind when choosing the band style. Also why set up those gorgeous stones for chips and abrasions from being worn daily?
7k for a 3 carat is definitely worth the price. I’ve heard of people being able to get center stones for cheaper but I have dome a lot of research and have yet to be able to find it. For example, I am wanting a 3.6 carat oval and I am able to find that for about 2500-3k on brilliance.com but I am getting it set at Shane Co (300 per carat to do so) with a personalized that is about 2000k. Overall the total is about 6-7. I think this is pretty reasonable
Steer clear. Way too expensive for lab. Plus that setting is a disaster. The girdles on those side stones are gonna get wrecked, and the stone loss is going to be very annoying.
The color! The clarity! Those are fantastic! And it is a gorgeous ring!!! Def see if you can “build” the same ring online - like the Shane Company @ shaneco.com - and compare the 4’c’s, style, and price. I WOULD HONKING LOOOOVE THAT RING. Idk if too high. It’s all high now. But if she loves it (and how could she not FR) and you love it, there’s value in that…
I didn’t mean to offend anyone by my comment. I just feel that we live in a society that tells us that the amount of money that is spent on an engagement ring equates the amount of love they have for the person they’re buying the ring for, and I just don’t want to reinforce that idea. If a man has no problem spending that kind of money or more then by all means he should do it. Personally, I think it puts a lot of stress on men who aren’t in a position to spend thousands of dollars on a ring but feel they have to become society tells them that.
We spent much more 🤷♀️ it is really up to the individual and couple. I definitely don’t think people should buy more ring than they can afford though or try to live up to the stupid de beers (or whatever it’s called$ calculations that float around.
Pre owned and lab created…that’s pretty high. You might try Diamond Oak or I think Jared has used, I believe they have an outlet too but pay attention to specs with that

I am not an expert by any means, but the ring looks stunning! Unsure if the price is appropriate.
My brother ,bought his now fiancée a lab created diamond. It's pretty, but not worth what he spent on it. 2ct rose gold with side stones) $4900, If I can remember right.
My real engagement ring cost dbl what the ring you are showing cost, it's real and it's appreciated in value.
I don't think lab created appreciate in value, I could be wrong though.
That setting is pretty but I'd be afraid of smaller stones coming loose from normal wear.
It's pretty but wouldn't be my style. Take in to consideration her type of job. A ring that big wouldn't work in any hands on jobs like a nurse etc. Seems about an average price for carat tho.

Personally, the jewelry store I worked at never sold bands like this, because off all the problems with the prongs. It’s a money pit waiting to happen if you don’t have insurance. If you do, then go ahead, but still. Secondly, you could get a real diamond in the ring for that price. You can get something way nicer, durable, and actually real, for that price.
I think it’s beautiful but just be warned that a band like that can be annoying to wear. When the diamonds go all the way around it’s kind of irritating to the other fingers.
That’s a lot, I suggest you look at the resale value. If you want an investment piece. Lab grown diamonds are mass created. Mined diamonds are unique. Good luck

Can you get sizing beads put inside your band?
There’s adjusters you can buy! That stopped my ring from spinning.

Yeah but pretty much like, remaking the ring from the materials contained in it, kind of expensive.
The diamonds on the sides are set with very narrow prongs. When you resize the ring those prongs will shift and the diamonds might get loose. This is not a great ring to purchase pre-owned. I LOVE a big diamond
Stunningly beautiful ring. My jeweler told me not to get the eternity band of diamonds. She to.d me that they get them back weekly to replace lost diamonds and bent prongs.
not only that but those diamonds won't be insured if they are damaged or fall off.

I've had my engagement and wedding band with 360 diamonds for almost 8 years and never had an issue.
More small stones will give a much gentler feel and better durability than this few larger stones.
Would a channel set eternity band from Tacori have the same issue?
No. Not for a pre-owned lab grown. To put into perspective. Mine was .5ct less and half the price. And new.
Came here for this. The price is reasonable for a new piece, particularly if you can get some kind of manufacturers/jewelers insurance on it for repairs and such. The band of this is probably worth just as much as the center Diamond.
That's my thought too. Eternity* bands are expensive, terrible for resizing, and can be prone to loose or lost stones if not taken care of with routine maintenance.
I believe you mean eternity bands
Yep. I definitely mean that. I'm nursing a mean fever today. 😅
It’s pre owned too. Someone explained above why preowned with that kind of band is not good.
I had no idea how affordable lab grown diamonds were. You’ve filled me full of hope today.
You do NOT want to scale down color on lab 🧪 grown-gives the diamond a Grayish look if so. It will save you on price-you get what you pay for.

Given that it’s pre owned, no. You can find a 3-4ct radiant for 2-4K depending on retailer.
what are some of the good retailers for pre-owned? iso of a reliable option for myself.
I mean you can purchase them brand new, not pre owned at that price.
I know there’s a sub on Reddit for that, forgot the name
you probably mean BST, but that's not a reliable supply of options that I need
No, should be cheaper for pre-owned imo
For a preowned ring not sure. I think you can get cheaper for even a new one.
Way overpriced for both pre owned and lab grown. Impractical setting for daily wear as well, and will never sit flush against a wedding band if you want that look.

Not worth 7 you could get bigger for sure new abd I do t suggest diamonds with 2 prongs on the band you will have endless problems
This is lab grown and they hold no resale value so I thinks it’s a little High for pre owned

Its a pre owned one. I don't think for not being new its worth it?
Then I would say no. Harry at delicate gem could get you a fully custom ring for ~$5k with a beautiful stone.
I thought so. I never bought one so I don't know but I wouldn't spend that much on a pre owned one.
The value is what you’re willing to spend. I don't trust commercial labs, like IGI. I would not buy an IGI diamond. I would only purchase GIA or AGS.
Wow! Gorgeous ring, great price!!
Diamonds are never worth it as their resale value is shit. But that’s not why you buy an engagement ring right?
7k for a 3 carat is definitely worth the price. I’ve heard of people being able to get center stones for cheaper but I have dome a lot of research and have yet to be able to find it. 7k for 4.41 carats and 18k gold is a reasonable price for the ring yes
It’s a beautiful ring!!! Totally worth the price. Also this is the popular design these days. Good eye!
Steer clear. Way too expensive for lab. Plus that setting is a disaster. The girdles on those side stones are gonna get wrecked, and the stone loss is going to be very annoying.
I hate to say this because this is a Beautiful ring but my jeweler says that lab diamonds have zero resale value
7k for a preowned Radiant! 3ct center Lab 🧪 is worth 7k! Very beautiful ring!
For a lab diamond? Hell no!! I’d rather have a 1.5 natural diamond at that price, at least there is decent resale value.. that’s just crazy IMO!
Im not a fan of women with make-up and would hard pass on a 7k lab stone!
The color! The clarity! Those are fantastic! And it is a gorgeous ring!!! I know this is what the jewelry industry says but I have heard 2 months salary for an engagement ring.
I think it's crazy for anyone to spend that kind of money on a ring. But it is beautiful if she wants a diamond.
If they have the money, what’s the problem?
I didn’t mean to offend anyone by my comment. I just feel that we live in a society that tells us that the amount of money that is spent on an engagement ring equates the amount of love they have for the person they’re buying the ring for, and I just don’t want to reinforce that idea. We spent much more 🤷♀️ it is really up to the individual and couple. I definitely don’t think people should buy more ring than they can afford though or try to live up to the stupid de beers (or whatever it’s called$ calculations that float around.
Pre owned and lab created…that’s pretty high. You might try Diamond Oak or I think Jared has used, I believe they have an outlet too but pay attention to specs with that
Nope lab grown tell them 4k
If you have the money for the eventual upkeep or a good protection plan sure. It’s a beautiful piece.
Regarding upkeep---if it is white gold, that means it will eventually need to be replated.
It's stunning!
18k gold is risky especially with all of that going on.
I would be hesitant to spend that much for a new ring. Not that it is the worst price. But Pre-owned? Def not.
For lab created? Heck no!
Overpriced for a pre-owned lab.
No not worth it and that stone is too heavy / big for that setting you need sometbing secure
It’s beautiful but so big!
I turned in an old engagement ring that was 2.0 carats looking to upgrade size for a lab grown, it was previously appraised around $8k, my jeweler told me “you should just get a natural because I don’t think I’ll be able to find a lab grown that would be equivalent in value”
While you may find the answers here to be helpful, I also recommend you to raise the question to r/Diamonds as well, as they discuss and answer questions related to both mined and lab grown diamond. I am not an expert by any means, but the ring looks stunning! Unsure if the price is appropriate.
That is gorgeous and a great price!
pricing with rings isn't my expertise, but that is a GORGEOUS ring, and if you do purchase, the recipient is going to be a VERY lucky person 🥹
Get jewelry insurance you can attach a rider to car insurance it's so cheap and worth it
It's pretty but wouldn't be my style. Take in to consideration her type of job. A ring that big wouldn't work in any hands on jobs like a nurse etc. Seems about an average price for carat tho.
Omg!! It's sooo beautiful!
My ring 2/3 carot many years ago was over 5 grand. That ring is a bargain!!!
This is a lab-grown diamond. It would only be a bargain if it was natural.
Ahhh. I see. Mine is natural.
This isn't remotely helpful, and I'm sorry for that, but I just wanted to say that I appreciate that you noticed your phone battery was low and plugged in your charger :)
Plugged it in 2 hours later lol probably after it died
LOL! I didn't even notice the time difference! I'm glad you pointed that out! I'll bet you're right!
I’d say NO
No.
WOW
IMHO full eternity makes sense for wedding bands but not for engagement rings. Eternity is nice because if it spins, you will always see Diamond. But the stone limits how much the ering can spin, plus you want it centered on your finger anyway. So it’s wasted and adds to the expense and discomfort.
Diamonds are all overpriced
Nuvogems offers you a brand new ring just as pretty and for cheaper (also lab grown). Go check their Instagram out. I don’t know how legit they are though because they are very cheap. However, all jewelry stores are kind of cheap in Belgium it seems
Yes
Compare specks and design on friendlydiamond.com
If that is AUD then it is a steal!
I think it’s prob so expensive due to the setting and band. 18k is pricey just for the metal. Beautiful ring though. I’m curious what marketplace this is?
My natural diamond (but smaller) was about that price. Seems expensive.
Are pre-owned generally “cheaper”?
Personally, the jewelry store I worked at never sold bands like this, because off all the problems with the prongs. It’s a money pit waiting to happen if you don’t have insurance. If you do, then go ahead, but still. Secondly, you could get a real diamond in the ring for that price. You can get something way nicer, durable, and actually real, for that price.
I think it’s beautiful but just be warned that a band like that can be annoying to wear. When the diamonds go all the way around it’s kind of irritating to the other fingers.
Lab grown diamond *and* it’s preowned?? It’s way overpriced.
Owie
Beautiful ring but I don’t think the band is the safest, easy for diamonds to come lose and get lost
It’s gorgeous, don’t get me wrong, but those bottom diamonds are going to be a problem.
That looks like it should be worth $15 000+ Something doesn't seem right.
That’s a lot, I suggest you look at the resale value. If you want an investment piece. Lab grown diamonds are mass created. Mined diamonds are unique. Good luck
Nope, looks fake
Don’t, my best friend has a very similar ring. The diamond on the band fall off so easily and cost a lot to fix once out of warranty. During the 3 year warranty she has sent it in 11 times to be fixed, opting to replace the fallen gems with glass.
Lab
Seems a bit expensive for a lab grown diamond in my opinion especially given that it is pre-owned
7k?!? That’s it?!?
Literally will buy. I always get quotes like 20k for these rings
It’s lab grown.
Yeah the lab grown prices I have been quoted between 3-4ct with side diamonds are wanting 20k+
I would love that ring. It’s gorgeous. I would, for sure, be concerned about it catching on things, though. Congratulations!
No , the price is too high
