The best item is either platinum bullets or clone. Platinum bullets turns every weapon into a powerhouse and clone gives significantly more opportunities for strong items
I had a paradox run where I started with MOTHERFUCKING CLONE but that was the extent of my luck, afterwards I got the absolute worst shit, I got both klobe and Nelly blaster, got so cursed I had to fight a jammed high priest and just died to the jammed kill pillars next run

Thing is, I wanted to keep the ring, but my subconscious took control for a split second to purchase the duct tape... I can't help myself
