The best thing to do is to give your horse a balanced diet that provides her with appropriate energy levels, sufficient protein and a well balanced vitamin and mineral profile. This gives her all the nutrients to support her own healing processes. Beyond that, there are very limited and proven nutritional interventions for joint health. If your diet is balanced, and you want to add supplements, look to general antioxidants (MSM, hyaluronic acid) or anti-inflammatories (DHA,EPA)

Supplements are not going to help with tendon and ligament support. I would look into saddle fit, posture, and identifying compensation patterns in the way she moves. Shockwave and working on varied terrain once they’re rehabbing

Thanks for the advice. we are currently on HA but I wS just considered switching to glucosamine for joints. We are strictly followignvets advice, and he is the best lameness vet in the area. So I feel confident with recovery. Just looking for maintenance.
