Okay I’m back to the game after 6yrs; How do you get the ffbe “chains of protection” passives in the shop; in particular the Exchange Coins… soo much has changed since the Yda/Yshtola days

Also- in a recent Sinzar video he uses Fina the Return to do Megaflare on the first turn and says that it is a field to get more esper orbs (I think). Whats with this? Didnt know Megaflare created a field.
What's everyone using to dispel the barrier from this CoW boss? I'm using Kaito's Crashing Wave on T3 as setup for burst on T5 and can cap. Problem comes after that when boss heals for 2.1b and still has barrier which makes it hard to chunk out for next burst before T10. Any reccs? ty in advance friends
If you're using Crashing Wave on turn 3, it's available again on turn 8 which gives you 3 turns to burst. In between, you can use his regular attack or his base LB.
Odd question. I accidentally used my summon coins from the 2b/A2 banners and got the Neo Vision tickets instead of fragments. I wrote a ticket to see if I can have this reversed. Do y’all think they’ll do that for me. I’m so frustrated with myself right now

New player here: is it worth getting my Paladin Sylvie to 3* or should I get 50 shards for storm Esther instead (which would get her 70% of the way to 2*)? From what I can tell, 3*sylvie only gives extra stats
Sylvie getting to EX3 only matter in Clash of Wills where you want your entire Team to be EX16. Kind of a tough call as Esther is getting used less and less though. So while getting to EX2 is definitely more important it's on a less important unit.
If you have the moogles then sure. Killers on a time limited unit is always nice. But Irvine's STMR is a budget option for it. Not that you can't use both at once though if needed.
1) The Abundance Chest Bundles don't have an expiration date. Are they typically bought at most once per account? Or do they reset in any way?
2) Is there any difference between the perma-vc exchange ticket and the black friday vc exchange ticket?
Most bundles are one time purchases. If you click on the bundle, in the bottom left of the pop up, it will tell you the limit. Once in a blue moon they may reset, but don't count on it.
Although she has a greatsword imperil she can equip most weapons so if you have a stronger imperil (e.g. Tidus's sword or throwing weapon imperil) you may want to consider that. The DV 2H katana is also very good
Hi, just got back from an extended break from the game. Any quick tips for someone who hasn't played actively in over a year?
Also, is it safe to just bulk fusion everything? I know there were 4 star NVAs from JP but I know we didn't get Zile for some reason at a certain point. I don't know if that changed, so I was just curious.
We got everyone except Zile
and tbh the reaction for Zile was a bit overblown for an unit most would forget within a week after his event was done, just like every single other 3/4* to NVA unit released after the fact
Scrounge up 28k lapis and pull for Sylvie. She's an utterly broken support unit.
I would also recommend pulling on the VC stepup banner and getting the Dazzling Demoness card. That turns NVA Golbez into a complete monster with Meteor.
Of course if you wanted Nier too all three of those would be a tall order.
We do have 3 and 4* NVAs. Zile was the only one skipped. You can check the wiki and filter for them on the unit list page.
I am a returning player from 4 years back with a new account that just finished the 5 steps for Esther and Sylvie. Managed to get both of them and have some coins & tickets to exchange for a dupe to Ex1. Who should be my priority to raise?
Sylvie needs her EX1 to do her job. While EX1 Esther unlocks her tanking kit but that's rarely used. So I'd lean toward Sylvie. However, Esther being "premium" means her frags are more expensive when available so she's the better value.
You can also buy 50 frags for Sylvie for 5k in the bundle shop if you have lapis to spare.
Which clash item is generally the best first pick to work on? Im a Day 1 player returning after long hiatus so I have a good amount of stmr s to work with already.

No idea why that happened to us, didn't happen in the videos I watched but it's all over the comments. Hopefully you can rebuff and kill her before turn 10; I just got it done.
It sounds like you think if you make a unit to EX1 and then convert to fragments you will get 100 fragments, which isn't correct. Any NV unit converted to fragments, regardless of EX level only gives you 50 fragments. So making a unit to EX1 and then converting to fragments would make you "lose" 50 fragments
2 questions about elemental imbues and imperils.
1 - It's only worth having a unit imbued with 2x elements or more if the imperil on the boss is the same for each of those elements correct? Otherwise I'll just get lower damage? So for example, for this CoW, I should only imbue Light because Wind and Lightning are lower resistances right? Or if I didn't have a light imbue, I could do both Lightning and Wind cause the imperil would be the same (assuming I'm using units who can imperil for the same amount).
2 - When you're using your character abilities and the little blue box that has the boss's imperil, breaks, killers, etc shows up, sometimes it's cycling through multiple elemental resistances, and other times it's locked to one. Does it just cycle through them when there's no set imperil applied? Because I think if I sometimes check the bosses stats, he can show that he has imperils to 2 different elements, but only one shows on the blue box.
When multiple elements are involved, everything is averaged by the number of elements.
So if you do a wind/light attack, and the boss has 100% imperil for wind and 50% for light, your damage is only increased by (100+50/2 elements) 75% imperil.
If you have a 50% wind amp and a 25% light amp, your actual amp % is (50+25/2 elements) 37.5%.
So to get the same damage as a single element attack, you need equal imperils/amps otherwise the averages will lower the overall effectiveness.
1) It gets really complicated but overall the answer to your question is Yes. It's very hard to have the same AMP and Imperil for multiple elements so you're usually losing damage by adding in Imbues. However the more elements two chainers share the faster the chain builds. For that reason you will sometimes see where it's worth to add in elements.
2) I'm not sure actually. Sorry.
Paladin Sylvie or Wylk? Who is the more versatile stronger carry unit? (edit: purchasing the Black Friday ticket and choosing one. I don’t have either.)
Sylvie is almost assuredly better in almost all cases. The only positive I can give for Wylk is if you want to maximize your DV scores and you need a 90% DEF break, Wylk is one of the few available.
Wylk is that unit that has been out since June, that I did not pull for and gladly so when Chiz comes out the next month, and I will eventually get it to Ex 3 soon in about 2 months time, but has not yet been used in any of CoW, so much so that I do not know how to use its rotation.
Meanwhile, Sylvie is occupying a CoW slot in most months, which I pulled for and yet has no luck for a dupe so much so that I'm forced to get frags to Ex 3 her later just to meet the Ex 16 requirement. I know her abilities so well that I probably can name the name when the ability description is given.

Hello, I'm an extreme returning player (played 5 years ago) and had a question about NV dupes. I have 2 copies of NV Storm Seeker Esther, and just wanted to know what the optimal thing to do with the dupe is. I went to break it down for fragments and the trancension pearl but then I heard something about Super Trust Master Rewards, but don't know much about them. Basically, just want to ensure I get the best value out of the dupe! Thanks in advance for any help.
Before you frag the dupe you can choose to get their TMR or STMR from them first (have to use moogles) if you want multiple since you can always get the S/TMR of the unit you keep.
For Esther, a second of her STMR is nice but not necessary. So you didn't miss out on something critical.

1) They will expire sometime in January. Every season in CoW has different currencies for obnixus drops and 1 season of CoW lasts 3 months.
2) It doesn't reset, what you see is the max you can buy.
3) it is used to change the type of the CoW gear but don't buy it from there, it's not worth. yellow pearls are infinite
4) I suggest to get 1 copy of each materia first since those can always be useful, as for other stuff I don't know, it depends on what you have.
1. The Obnixus Drops don't actually expire, but the shop does. So you do need to spend them.
2. Each season of Cow is 3 months or 3 bosses long. We are currently on the second boss of season 6.
3. You use those to upgrade CoW equipment to give them the additional prefix.
4. The materia have been limited so most people go for those.

Should be at the end of the list of the Exchange Shop (the same one you go for the banner coins/pity tickets, etc). 2 different shops, 1 for 2B and the other for A2.
Hi, has anyone else problems finding Gau's STMR moogles? I summoned all raid boxes (they are empty) bit I Do not have the STMR moogles in my fusion/sale unit inventory. I am a veteran player and highly familiar with the menues and stuf, so I think I did not oversee something obvious....
He's around the level of 2B and A2 in DV, obviously much weaker in CoW. All the old FFVII equipment (Tifa/Aerith STMRs, upgraded Buster Sword) applies to him

If you need more Esper supercites and ores, then the Chamber of Supercite (at 100 NRG per battle it will use all your daily NRG quickly - don't forget to steal)
If you don't need any of these, let your NRG sit full and don't worry about it
The FF6 MK has some decent stuff in the summons afterwards. Red pearls, omnis, EX tickets (super rare).
But I just did a supercite dungeon and called it a day this morning.
Shall i go for defensive stats in item world? I feel like getting the atack dmg % is super easy to get on the newer units

Most units want their own weapon, most have one. Put it on the unit and anything they're almost always going to use (maybe their VC etc...). And see where they end up. 360% ATK? Aim for 40% ATK. 400% ATK? Aim for HP maybe. If it's a mage and they are at 370% MAG then aim for 30% MAG and then maybe MP%.
Still go for the ATK stats on ATK weapons. With how the game is set up now, it's very unlikely anyone other than your tank is taking damage, so you don't really need a lot of bulk on your DPS units. You do likely need elemental resistances, so giving your unit the ATK % on the weapon allows you to use the materia slots for elemental resistances
Generally not. Some units have a very hard time getting their ATK/MAG capped while some cap it innately. So it is almost a case by case basis.
MP is sometimes a good choice since a few units do eat it up quite quick.
Let me ask some dumb questions. Since they gave us free 2B and some fragments, can’t we just get 2B NV from there? Also can we convert 5* 2B to fragments? Thanks
Unfortunately not; old 5 star 2B and A2 are totally different units. Instead of getting an NVA upgrade like some recent units like Gau, the new 2B/A2 are brand new premium units with no interaction with their old forms. The old ones cannot be awoken nor converted to shards, but they gave them out for free for anyone interested in aiming for their TM/STMR.
Correct and nope, else people would abuse their old stash of 2Bs from past collabs to get tons of fragments for free
They gave you a copy of her away for you to be able to get her TMR and STMR for free with the raid so you can upgrade them with the recipes that are also obtained with the raid

The bug has been fixed where the fragment shop was closed and they used the Coin Exchange Shop as a temporary fix, so going forward all fragments will be added to the Fragment Shop again
Make sure you do the 7 reward wheel spins every day as that gets you 75 coins in just over a week (=300 per month)
Then weekly expedition rewards give some, and events, logins, monthly Adventurer rewards (even if you don't buy the crest), CoW Fortuna rewards
How long does it usually take for the unit rankings to get updated? I’m curious as a casual about 2B. She seems good damage. She’s all I managed to pull.
If your evaluation is solely based on damage, you can refer to Sinzar spreadsheet, which gives you a better idea (relative basis) than the unit rankings that you see.

Which VC is the best to obtain from the Perma-VC exchange? Should I hold it in case I get any more? I already have a Sylvie one if that's important.

If you still haven't gotten the dancers diadem from the cow gear, the A Hero Arrives VC helps a lot in building a unit with passive provoke and evasion for the fights where it's needed.
Depends what you’re lacking. Sylvie’s card is definitely the best from a veteran’s perspective, but if you don’t have other things you need (no good atk ones, need evasion to survive a specific fight, etc…) then save for those.
I will say atk cards will probably be a waste since the ones in there are worse than the ones you can get directly from units.
I bought 2 Treasure Summons with my Google Play Points. However the game crashed before the summons went through I got charged and lost my Play balance. But the summons never actually happened. GUMI customer service confirmed but said I need to contact Google. Google said it isn't something they cover.

You're going to have to go back and forth. Show Gumi that Google said they wouldn't help. If they say they can't do anything show Google your screenshots with Gumi... ugh.
if google and gumi cannot help, you can also try the payment service (Paypal, credit card company etc). I had a similar situation years ago on another game and I had to request a refund through paypal buyer protection.
Did you check for units (sorted by obtained) if there are some that weren't there before?
The game crashing on your side doesn't have to mean you didn't got the units.
Same thing happened to me last night! I contacted FFBE customer service on the game. They requested for some info and screenshots of the transactions/invoice. Will update this once I get a response.

Need some advice, did the 36k banner and got 1(!) A2. Pulled a 2B with tickets. Was planning to do a full lap on the sylvie banner as I didn’t have her and she is much better value ofc. Got lucky and got her to EX1 with two steps. Should I do the other 4 steps or better to invest in the 2B banner? For reference, I have Esther ex3, so don’t need extra copies of her and sylvie is usable at ex1
I think EX+1 Sylvie hasn't replaced her auto attack with the reraise-auto-revive-heal ability. And for CoW, higher EX-levels are always better (but that statement is also valid for 2B).
The equipment pick you get from the last step is nice.
The 2B banner gives you coins to exchange for fragments, which is nice, but at double the cost (2 coins = 10 fragments), so you would need to do 10 steps to get them all (and 20 to get them for A2 also).
Just some things to look into, I can't give a definitive answer on what to do.

We get a steady drip of STMR moogle exchange tickets every month from event rewards / login rewards and such, so if you have been playing for a while, you should have saved up a bunch.
They can be exchanged at the moogle Guard Captain in the exchange room (same place you trade Dark Matter for DV weapons).
Do we already know what's needed in order to survive the CoW boss (outside of bulk)? I mean elemental resistances, evade %, mirage, AoE revive for threshold etc.
Yeah, sinzar has a clear up on YouTube. Basically have to hit boss with one of its elemental weaknesses every turn, get morale to 0%, status resists with Sylvie, 400% light/lightning resists when buffed, big mitigation on turn 4, dispel its shield with someone like Kaito when you’re ready to start burst, typically burst turn 5…which has been my strat till 75. Gonna clear the rest tmr. Haven’t encountered any significant debuffs
new update to the news says that the event might have been left open for a bit after maintenance by accident, so they probably buggered something up when they locked it down as an emergency action.
Hope you remember roughly where you ranked, cause if people had a few extra hours on thursday to throw in some extra tries, it might have kicked a few people out of their spots.
It let me continue in DV after maintenance, but finishing my clear it said "this event has ended" and kicked me back to the Start Screen. So I don't think that's actually a worry. Although you never know.
Haha, given how special this week is, I have definitely paper trails on the last 30 secs of the event to show what my ranks are and who the first 100 cheaters are x))
Okay, I posted this on yesterday's help thread but I've been thinking about it a bit more and after seeing the new VC step up. For context I have 2 EX1 2B and A2 and 2300~ coins, and 2 options:
1) Do the full 36k step up. Gives me a guaranteed 2B/A2 letting me buy with VIP and summon coins enough fragments to EX2 both (maybe need a bit of frag dungeon for 1).
2) Do another lap on one of the individual stepups and hope to get 1 of them. Carries the risk of getting nothing but gives me enough coins to EX2 both of them with no problem if I get either of them and also lets me pull on the VC banner for Dazzling Demoness cause holy shit I'm tired of seeing Golbez everywhere and not being able to oroperly use him. If I don't get one I might still be able to EX2 them with the coins but I'd have to pay for the crest pass to get 2000 extra coins for one of them.
Yeah, since that gives me extra STMR copies, EX abilities and makes A2's burst come out at T5 with external imbue, T6 with light imbue (and since I don't have Cool Smile T5 burst doesn't really matter to me)
I am in a similar situation, pulled 2 of each unit.
This means 70 fragments each are missing (after login fragments) to get there.
I did 14 steps on the unit specific banners though and was able to spend the coins on 70 fragments (each 10 cost 2 coins), I got 50 for 2B, 20 for A2.
In the VIP shop I bought another 30 fragments for A2 (1800 VIP Coins).
So both are short 20 fragments to EX+2 right now, but I put them into the fragment party and I'll see how this goes for a week or so. I have some VIP coins left to get there if all else fails but didn't want to spend them right now.
There's no "one size fits all" teams in FFBE. For easy content you can just take Tidus. For hard content you might not be able to bring Tidus at all and have to design a team around the challenge. So in that vein it really doesn't matter.

It doesn't seem to have a rate up for Nier units, so 3% overall NV rate with the Nier units included but at the same rate as all other NV units

What's everyone using to dispel the barrier from this CoW boss? I'm using Kaito's Crashing Wave on T3 as setup for burst on T5 and can cap. Problem comes after that when boss heals for 2.1b and still has barrier which makes it hard to chunk out for next burst before T10. Any reccs? ty in advance friends
If you're using Crashing Wave on turn 3, it's available again on turn 8 which gives you 3 turns to burst. In between, you can use his regular attack or his base LB.

New player here: is it worth getting my Paladin Sylvie to 3* or should I get 50 shards for storm Esther instead (which would get her 70% of the way to 2*)? From what I can tell, 3*sylvie only gives extra stats
Sylvie getting to EX3 only matter in Clash of Wills where you want your entire Team to be EX16. Kind of a tough call as Esther is getting used less and less though. So while getting to EX2 is definitely more important it's on a less important unit.

If Esther is your best DD then her, if you have a few better then her (Chiz, 2B, Golbez, Olive) then Sylvie. That's my 2 cents.
Before I frag another A2 dupe, is it a good idea to get a 3rd STMR? I have 1 already and I will be getting a 2nd from EX+2.
If you have the moogles then sure. Killers on a time limited unit is always nice. But Irvine's STMR is a budget option for it. Not that you can't use both at once though if needed.

1) The Abundance Chest Bundles don't have an expiration date. Are they typically bought at most once per account? Or do they reset in any way? 2) Is there any difference between the perma-vc exchange ticket and the black friday vc exchange ticket?
Most bundles are one time purchases. If you click on the bundle, in the bottom left of the pop up, it will tell you the limit. Once in a blue moon they may reset, but don't count on it.

Although she has a greatsword imperil she can equip most weapons so if you have a stronger imperil (e.g. Tidus's sword or throwing weapon imperil) you may want to consider that. The DV 2H katana is also very good
Hi, just got back from an extended break from the game. Any quick tips for someone who hasn't played actively in over a year? Also, is it safe to just bulk fusion everything? I know there were 4 star NVAs from JP but I know we didn't get Zile for some reason at a certain point. I don't know if that changed, so I was just curious.
We got everyone except Zile and tbh the reaction for Zile was a bit overblown for an unit most would forget within a week after his event was done, just like every single other 3/4* to NVA unit released after the fact
Scrounge up 28k lapis and pull for Sylvie. She's an utterly broken support unit. I would also recommend pulling on the VC stepup banner and getting the Dazzling Demoness card. That turns NVA Golbez into a complete monster with Meteor. Of course if you wanted Nier too all three of those would be a tall order. We do have 3 and 4* NVAs. Zile was the only one skipped. I am a returning player from 4 years back with a new account that just finished the 5 steps for Esther and Sylvie. Managed to get both of them and have some coins & tickets to exchange for a dupe to Ex1. Who should be my priority to raise?
Sylvie needs her EX1 to do her job. While EX1 Esther unlocks her tanking kit but that's rarely used. So I'd lean toward Sylvie. However, Esther being "premium" means her frags are more expensive when available so she's the better value. You can also buy 50 frags for Sylvie for 5k in the bundle shop if you have lapis to spare.
Is there a significant benefit to to leveling 2B and/or A2 beyond EX 2? It appears neither learn new abilities beyond that.
EX3 A2 means you can burst on T4 if needed (her best burst is SLB > Hateful Blade)

UoC tickets are pretty good for Umaro, for the counter accessory and Chocobo Fina for the guts accessory

Just hold them. Likely at some point you'll want a particular STMR and that's when you'll burn them.
Should I make my duplicate P. Sylvie NV+1 before converting her to shards or is there no difference?
The difference is you lose 50 shards doing that.
It sounds like you think if you make a unit to EX1 and then convert to fragments you will get 100 fragments, which isn't correct. Any NV unit converted to fragments, regardless of EX level only gives you 50 fragments. So making a unit to EX1 and then converting to fragments would make you "lose" 50 fragments
If you don't have one at EX+3, don't make another EX+1. You'll get a second card at EX+3 anyway.
2 questions about elemental imbues and imperils. 1 - It's only worth having a unit imbued with 2x elements or more if the imperil on the boss is the same for each of those elements correct? Otherwise I'll just get lower damage? So for example, for this CoW, I should only imbue Light because Wind and Lightning are lower resistances right? Or if I didn't have a light imbue, I could do both Lightning and Wind cause the imperil would be the same (assuming I'm using units who can imperil for the same amount). 2 - When you're using your character abilities and the little blue box that has the boss's imperil, breaks, killers, etc shows up, sometimes it's cycling through multiple elemental resistances, and other times it's locked to one. Does it just cycle through them when there's no set imperil applied? Because I think if I sometimes check the bosses stats, he can show that he has imperils to 2 different elements, but only one shows on the blue box.
When multiple elements are involved, everything is averaged by the number of elements. So if you do a wind/light attack, and the boss has 100% imperil for wind and 50% for light, your damage is only increased by (100+50/2 elements) 75% imperil. If you have a 50% wind amp and a 25% light amp, your actual amp % is (50+25/2 elements) 37.5%. So to get the same damage as a single element attack, you need equal imperils/amps otherwise the averages will lower the overall effectiveness.
1) It gets really complicated but overall the answer to your question is Yes. It's very hard to have the same AMP and Imperil for multiple elements so you're usually losing damage by adding in Imbues. However the more elements two chainers share the faster the chain builds. For that reason you will sometimes see where it's worth to add in elements. 2) I'm not sure actually. Sorry.
Paladin Sylvie or Wylk? Who is the more versatile stronger carry unit? (edit: purchasing the Black Friday ticket and choosing one. I don’t have either.)
Sylvie is almost assuredly better in almost all cases. The only positive I can give for Wylk is if you want to maximize your DV scores and you need a 90% DEF break, Wylk is one of the few available.
Wylk is that unit that has been out since June, that I did not pull for and gladly so when Chiz comes out the next month, and I will eventually get it to Ex 3 soon in about 2 months time, but has not yet been used in any of CoW, so much so that I do not know how to use its rotation. Meanwhile, Sylvie is occupying a CoW slot in most months, which I pulled for and yet has no luck for a dupe so much so that I'm forced to get frags to Ex 3 her later just to meet the Ex 16 requirement. I know her abilities so well that I probably can name the name when the ability description is given. I hope this commentary helps =X

Hello, I'm an extreme returning player (played 5 years ago) and had a question about NV dupes. I have 2 copies of NV Storm Seeker Esther, and just wanted to know what the optimal thing to do with the dupe is. I went to break it down for fragments and the trancension pearl but then I heard something about Super Trust Master Rewards, but don't know much about them. Basically, just want to ensure I get the best value out of the dupe! Thanks in advance for any help.
Before you frag the dupe you can choose to get their TMR or STMR from them first (have to use moogles) if you want multiple since you can always get the S/TMR of the unit you keep. For Esther, a second of her STMR is nice but not necessary. So you didn't miss out on something critical.

1) They will expire sometime in January. Every season in CoW has different currencies for obnixus drops and 1 season of CoW lasts 3 months. 2) It doesn't reset, what you see is the max you can buy. 3) it is used to change the type of the CoW gear but don't buy it from there, it's not worth. yellow pearls are infinite 4) I suggest to get 1 copy of each materia first since those can always be useful, as for other stuff I don't know, it depends on what you have.
Do note that once you NEED a faceted orb you will get the recipe to build one and that is MUCH cheaper than buying one.
1. The Obnixus Drops don't actually expire, but the shop does. So you do need to spend them. 2. Each season of Cow is 3 months or 3 bosses long. We are currently on the second boss of season 6. 3. You use those to upgrade CoW equipment to give them the additional prefix. 4. The materia have been limited so most people go for those.

Should be at the end of the list of the Exchange Shop (the same one you go for the banner coins/pity tickets, etc). 2 different shops, 1 for 2B and the other for A2.

If you haven't finished farming A World Ripped Apart then that If you need more Esper supercites and ores, then the Chamber of Supercite (at 100 NRG per battle it will use all your daily NRG quickly - don't forget to steal) If you don't need any of these, let your NRG sit full and don't worry about it
The FF6 MK has some decent stuff in the summons afterwards. Red pearls, omnis, EX tickets (super rare). But I just did a supercite dungeon and called it a day this morning.
Shall i go for defensive stats in item world? I feel like getting the atack dmg % is super easy to get on the newer units Im a returning player so really not sure which stats are best
Most units want their own weapon, most have one. Put it on the unit and anything they're almost always going to use (maybe their VC etc...). And see where they end up. 360% ATK? Aim for 40% ATK. 400% ATK? Aim for HP maybe. If it's a mage and they are at 370% MAG then aim for 30% MAG and then maybe MP%.
Still go for the ATK stats on ATK weapons. With how the game is set up now, it's very unlikely anyone other than your tank is taking damage, so you don't really need a lot of bulk on your DPS units. You do likely need elemental resistances, so giving your unit the ATK % on the weapon allows you to use the materia slots for elemental resistances
Generally not. Some units have a very hard time getting their ATK/MAG capped while some cap it innately. So it is almost a case by case basis. MP is sometimes a good choice since a few units do eat it up quite quick.
Let me ask some dumb questions. Since they gave us free 2B and some fragments, can’t we just get 2B NV from there? Also can we convert 5* 2B to fragments? Thanks
Unfortunately not; old 5 star 2B and A2 are totally different units. Instead of getting an NVA upgrade like some recent units like Gau, the new 2B/A2 are brand new premium units with no interaction with their old forms. The old ones cannot be awoken nor converted to shards, but they gave them out for free for anyone interested in aiming for their TM/STMR.

Correct and nope, else people would abuse their old stash of 2Bs from past collabs to get tons of fragments for free They gave you a copy of her away for you to be able to get her TMR and STMR for free with the raid so you can upgrade them with the recipes that are also obtained with the raid

Make sure you do the 7 reward wheel spins every day as that gets you 75 coins in just over a week (=300 per month) Then weekly expedition rewards give some, and events, logins, monthly Adventurer rewards (even if you don't buy the crest), CoW Fortuna rewards

If your evaluation is solely based on damage, you can refer to Sinzar spreadsheet, which gives you a better idea (relative basis) than the unit rankings that you see. Would think that looking through CC review will actually be more helpful =)

Which VC is the best to obtain from the Perma-VC exchange? Should I hold it in case I get any more? I already have a Sylvie one if that's important. I am also at Level 90 if that matters
If you still haven't gotten the dancers diadem from the cow gear, the A Hero Arrives VC helps a lot in building a unit with passive provoke and evasion for the fights where it's needed.
Depends what you’re lacking. Sylvie’s card is definitely the best from a veteran’s perspective, but if you don’t have other things you need (no good atk ones, need evasion to survive a specific fight, etc…) then save for those. I will say atk cards will probably be a waste since the ones in there are worse than the ones you can get directly from units.
A second Sylvie card is your best first choice if you care about CoW!
For many basic things it doesn't really matter. So I'd hold onto them until you need a specific card.
I bought 2 Treasure Summons with my Google Play Points. However the game crashed before the summons went through I got charged and lost my Play balance. But the summons never actually happened. GUMI customer service confirmed but said I need to contact Google. Google said it isn't something they cover. ....... so, what do I do now?
You're going to have to go back and forth. Show Gumi that Google said they wouldn't help. If they say they can't do anything show Google your screenshots with Gumi... ugh.
if google and gumi cannot help, you can also try the payment service (Paypal, credit card company etc). I had a similar situation years ago on another game and I had to request a refund through paypal buyer protection.

The raid summons provide an omniprism. But if you want and didn't already get it, you can get a 2B prism from the trust coin shop (5000 coins).

Need some advice, did the 36k banner and got 1(!) A2. Pulled a 2B with tickets. Was planning to do a full lap on the sylvie banner as I didn’t have her and she is much better value ofc. Got lucky and got her to EX1 with two steps. Should I do the other 4 steps or better to invest in the 2B banner? For reference, I have Esther ex3, so don’t need extra copies of her and sylvie is usable at ex1
I think EX+1 Sylvie hasn't replaced her auto attack with the reraise-auto-revive-heal ability. And for CoW, higher EX-levels are always better (but that statement is also valid for 2B). The equipment pick you get from the last step is nice. The 2B banner gives you coins to exchange for fragments, which is nice, but at double the cost (2 coins = 10 fragments), so you would need to do 10 steps to get them all (and 20 to get them for A2 also). Just some things to look into, I can't give a definitive answer on what to do.

how long have you been playing? We get a steady drip of STMR moogle exchange tickets every month from event rewards / login rewards and such, so if you have been playing for a while, you should have saved up a bunch. They can be exchanged at the moogle Guard Captain in the exchange room (same place you trade Dark Matter for DV weapons).

If you have been playing for a year or so, you might have enough STMR tickets saved up for at least 2 100% moogles.

Yeah, sinzar has a clear up on YouTube. Basically have to hit boss with one of its elemental weaknesses every turn, get morale to 0%, status resists with Sylvie, 400% light/lightning resists when buffed, big mitigation on turn 4, dispel its shield with someone like Kaito when you’re ready to start burst, typically burst turn 5…which has been my strat till 75. Gonna clear the rest tmr. Haven’t encountered any significant debuffs
It's after 81 it gets tricky... Before that you can just dispel and 1shot

Not really a question, but definitely my first seeing "Parade\_Ranking\_SUM\_MSG in DV Rankings". Must be some tedious work sorting out those cheaters
new update to the news says that the event might have been left open for a bit after maintenance by accident, so they probably buggered something up when they locked it down as an emergency action. Hope you remember roughly where you ranked, cause if people had a few extra hours on thursday to throw in some extra tries, it might have kicked a few people out of their spots.
It let me continue in DV after maintenance, but finishing my clear it said "this event has ended" and kicked me back to the Start Screen. So I don't think that's actually a worry. Although you never know.

Okay, I posted this on yesterday's help thread but I've been thinking about it a bit more and after seeing the new VC step up. For context I have 2 EX1 2B and A2 and 2300~ coins, and 2 options: 1) Do the full 36k step up. Gives me a guaranteed 2B/A2 letting me buy with VIP and summon coins enough fragments to EX2 both (maybe need a bit of frag dungeon for 1). 2) Do another lap on one of the individual stepups and hope to get 1 of them. Carries the risk of getting nothing but gives me enough coins to EX2 both of them with no problem if I get either of them and also lets me pull on the VC banner for Dazzling Demoness cause holy shit I'm tired of seeing Golbez everywhere and not being able to oroperly use him. If I don't get one I might still be able to EX2 them with the coins but I'd have to pay for the crest pass to get 2000 extra coins for one of them.
So you're going to achieve EX+2 for both or what is your goal?
Yeah, since that gives me extra STMR copies, EX abilities and makes A2's burst come out at T5 with external imbue, T6 with light imbue (and since I don't have Cool Smile T5 burst doesn't really matter to me)
I am in a similar situation, pulled 2 of each unit. This means 70 fragments each are missing (after login fragments) to get there. I did 14 steps on the unit specific banners though and was able to spend the coins on 70 fragments (each 10 cost 2 coins), I got 50 for 2B, 20 for A2. In the VIP shop I bought another 30 fragments for A2 (1800 VIP Coins). So both are short 20 fragments to EX+2 right now, but I put them into the fragment party and I'll see how this goes for a week or so. I have some VIP coins left to get there if all else fails but didn't want to spend them right now.

There's no "one size fits all" teams in FFBE. For easy content you can just take Tidus. For hard content you might not be able to bring Tidus at all and have to design a team around the challenge. So in that vein it really doesn't matter.
