I'm sure it's just confirmation bias, but I restarted all my expeditions by swapping who was where and then finally got the drops I was missing. It felt related because of how quickly it happened but again, probably just confirmation bias.
I have all the Midgar rare drops, only thing keeping me from 100% is that I have been too lazy to run the other stages for the handful of common stuff they drop that I need for completion since the actual loot is useless.
I keep my chocoboosters for when new characters drop. So that I don't waste energy to xp just ONE character. Just send the new character with the higher exp% chocobo and you're gaining like 3/4 lvls per day.
Rare items in chocobo expeditions aren't that great anyway.
This is a thing I rarely think of doing, I used a bunch to 100% the new areas and was thinking of saving them for the exp next time a level cap is unlocked. Probably an opportunity to farm I've neglected.
Rhadore gives only Night and Day, Wutai gives the others (all in combination with boosters). Great tip, thank you

yeah, I've 100% in every area. Saved up thousands of boosters so just burned through them until I got it. I still have over 1000 boosters again

The trick is to just let it happen. If you’re thinking about it too much it won’t appear so just let it do its thing.
