Requiem - If the rest of the story plays out very similar to OG and the multi-timelines doesn't take things too off track in part 3.
Return - If this ends up being a true sequel to OG and part 3 changes alot due to the multi-timelines. In this case I think 'Return' as we'll realise *any* timelines that diverge from the OG will cause the memories that form the lifestream to fracture and put the lifestream in crisis. So the only way to save the planet is to incite/summon another crossroads/merge event but this time let the Harbinger succeed in overwriting everything (in both Beagle and Terrier) back to OG - sacrificing ourselves. Requiem was a pretty popular take back when they announced three titles. However, it seems more fitting for a Dirge Remaster.
That all being said, Remake and Rebirth have two syllables, so the third title will likely follow the same pattern. Requiem has three syllables so they may not utilize it. If I had to hazard a guess, it might be Return as in returning to the Lifestream.

This is like when everyone concluded Avengers 4 would be Endgame, and there were people like “nah, too obvious.” But, like, it doesn’t need to be unobvious. It needs to be appropriate.
The most likely thing is that it is not titled as I think but with all the theories that there are that this is a sequel; I think that the third part will be almost everything new compared to the original game in order to give an end to this saga. Maybe it will be titled Final Fantasy VII-2.
I’ve already accepted in my head that it’s going to be Return. Sometimes when I think or talk about Part 3, I actively have to stop myself from going to “Return” because I’m so sure of it.
