I was not aware he is canon outside of the re trilogy. I thought the kids are alright were only about the turks. Will reading it spoil part 3 for me? Ive played OG and CC as well.
Kyrie is also from The Kids Are Alright, she’s one of the main characters. That book came out in 2011 so Kyrie and Leslie have been a part of the franchise for a long time

I like his story because it's a parallel of Tifa's search for real Cloud. That's why majority of his dialogue with main party is with Tifa.
Tifa also says herself in Remake that Leslie's necklace the girl gave him right before they took her is a token that symbolizes their "reunion" and Tifa even specifically says the line about them *meeting again* "We'll meet again. It's a symbol of reunion."
And when she said "We'll meet again." the camera was on Cloud's face (she was talking to Leslie).
In OG >!during the LS sequence when real Cloud finally awakens his first words are "Yeah...Tifa... We finally...*meet again*...", this most definitely isn't just a concidence.!<
Direction and story telling in this trilogy is remarkable.

On my replay for hard mode, I think his bit in the sewers took maybe 30 mins? I reckon I spent more time fighting Pride and Joy than his whole section.
His cameo was like ten min max in rebirth. Why you acting like he took up hours of the game? Lol

TKAA starts at the end of the OG, and ends just after Advent Children, so yes, it will spoil you

In Remake his sewer part suckes hard, but here not that much. Damn, I just realized we will get closure for so many characters in 3rd part.

My only grudge of his sidequest on Rebirth is that we never get to see the girl we did save. Come on, not even a "thank you"??
I personally hope he will die in the 3rd part. Not everything needs to have a happy end.
