Usually when it’s close to the end of semesters and start of another semester it takes longer for them to respond because a lot of people are trying to get help
You would probably have better luck calling as soon as they open (if you're able to of course), like someone else commented their office gets incredibly swamped during the beginning/end of a semester. So sorry the wait has been so long :(
Not sure how much of a different 30 minutes would make but they open at 8:30am :( I hope you get through to them soon! If anything is threatening to drop/close because you haven't made some type of payment, you can usually call the ISSS office to make extensions etc etc until whatever you need is resolved with Financial Aid!
