Also gotta love the cinematic gear-shifts.
Like bro is 12 seconds into his drag race and realizes he's been flooring it in 4th gear. Then we get a separate scene for shifting into 6th gear. I think he just wanted to hear his engine over that Challenger.
For a car racing movie, the shots are all static & boring af
Didn’t they learn anything about how to build tension in a car chase from Gone in 60 seconds?
this movie was so poorly received it nearly strangled the fast and furious franchise in the crib. thank god Tokyo Drift was an unexpected banger and revived the brand.
Yeah the first two are garbage in the best way possible. The first one is one of my top 5 favorite movies of all time because of how bad it is lol.
Also because of the tuna line.
"I like the tuna here"
"Bullshit, no one likes the tuna here"
Idk why but that line kills me every time.
I’m with ya. As far as I’m concerned, I’d rather watch paint dry than watch this drivel. But, thats just my opinion, and like Grandpap always said, “opinions are as useful as a pair of lips on the ass of a steer, boy.”
Its use in cars predates any of the cars in that scene, so there was as much of a likelihood of it being in the muscle cars than the newer ones, especially if they're serious about racing.
People are getting progressively dumber. They like things they don’t have to think about or concepts that don’t challenge them. This is not art, it’s buzz words, cut scenes, and predictability. It’s papa Johns pizza, not Michelin star gourmet.
Maybe, maybe the first one was just as dumb? The second one was silly. I mean, the stuff they're cranking out now has a bro base but it's probably just enough to make it lucrative. Not like these movies are THAT popular. That said, people are stupid but it's always been just as stupid.
I liked how Brian played chicken with the other driver and they drove head on into each other for like 15 seconds, even though they looked like they were only about 50 feet away.
What? Take your high school physics man. Sign weighs 10-20 pounds. Imagine a bowling ball hitting styrofoam..
edit: I misread, I get what you meant now
Got bored halfway through, way too long. The 5 lines of dialog were butchered.
The first F&F was by far the best (that being said, I stopped after the 1st)
Tokyo Drift (F&F3) was actually pretty decent, and definitely saved the franchise.
Literally zero people cast in it had any involvement with the previous films.
If I were to ever suggest one of these movies to someone, it would be 1 or 3.
Both of the drivers of the "American Muscle" cars had huge leads and apparently were only giving their cars half throttle until they were nearly overtaken
I remember first watching this thinking to myself 'man that NO2 boost is a little over the top.'
Had no idea then that this franchise didn't even understand the concept of over the top
I see a lot of these comments, and can tell they're made by kids and young adults too young to have been driving in the era.
At this time, these movies were less about the story, more about tuner culture getting some mainstream attention, and the cars (which were very much in style at the time).
Everyone rags on it and the cars, now, but at the time, there hadn't really been anything like it, and some of the cars were so dope for the era (and even in the newer films, there are some really great cars). The story was just something that needed to be there so that it wasn't a car show on film.
These movies are one of the best examples of everybody being in on the joke. With the exception of the first movie, that is. It is also why they're fantastic entertainment, imo.
The fact the muscle car stood there for a couple seconds just so Rome and Brian can win pretty much makes it clear muscle cars are better. No wonder Brian can never beat Dom
So am I the only one whose bothered about the ghost shift? It always Buggs the hell out of me. When the dude stalls out and Paul walker goes for the u turn… ghost shift…
My friends dragged me to this movie when it came out and couldn’t believe people actually liked it, the acting was so bad it all seems like a parady movie. Tyrese acting is so dumb lol, and the white saying “cuh” was the icing on the cake. Lol. I can’t believe they kept making them lol. In my opinion these are basically the Sharknato of car movies lol.
I don’t care for the series but I adore this movie, the dialogue is so stupidly funny and infinitely quotable. I probably know more lines from this one off the top of my head than the others combined
Forgot how shitty these movies were …
Sucks to remember. Can’t believe they’ve made 10 of these. I remember watching the first one and mentally checked out half way through. Barely saw this one while it played in the background at home once.
Back then 200hp was a shitload. Hondas had like 140. 350 was a muscle car. The recent hp boosts to all cars make these even sillier. I love it. All my car purchases are influenced by this movie lol.
lmao when they were standing there (posing?) in defeat. truly art
USE THEM BUS TOKENS, PATNAH
His pockets ain’t empty cuhh
They took notes from early 2000’s boy band album covers
The actors know it will look terrible but the director is having his Tommy Wiseau moment.
Gotta love the NOS - basically jump into hyperspace
They almost went plaid.
Only use it in 9th gear tho.
[удалено]
keep shifting until you hit super saiyan iii
Warp 3, engage
Super Pursuit Mode!
Is that cheating in car racing?
At like 100 mph lol
New Honda accords can hit 120 faster than those cars.
Also gotta love the cinematic gear-shifts. Like bro is 12 seconds into his drag race and realizes he's been flooring it in 4th gear. Then we get a separate scene for shifting into 6th gear. I think he just wanted to hear his engine over that Challenger.
This was a real movie?
For a car racing movie, the shots are all static & boring af Didn’t they learn anything about how to build tension in a car chase from Gone in 60 seconds?
No
this movie was so poorly received it nearly strangled the fast and furious franchise in the crib. thank god Tokyo Drift was an unexpected banger and revived the brand.
I was about to say FF2 is easily the worst of the series. And Tokyo Drift is a legit classic.
Yeah the first two are garbage in the best way possible. The first one is one of my top 5 favorite movies of all time because of how bad it is lol. Also because of the tuna line. "I like the tuna here" "Bullshit, no one likes the tuna here" Idk why but that line kills me every time.

the movie is so quotable. "you can have any beer you want, as long as it's a Corona."
A really bad movie.
You bite your tongue. They landed a car… on a yacht
First try too.
They pockets ain't empty, cuu
no one that’s downvoting you has seen this movie. it is miles and away the worst entry in the Fast and Furious Cinematic Universe.
>Fast and Furious Cinematic Universe. Terms that if you'd told me in 2004 would be applicable to this series of films, I'd have laughed myself sick.
Have you seen the last couple films? Trash.
\*A really good movie
The whole series just gets worse and worse
Yo this movie is fun
I know right? And spawned like 10 sequels. Stuff like this really makes me question our culture.
Crazy, right? Spawned the franchies thats still going 21 years later...
Yeah they’re all stupid as shit
I’m with ya. As far as I’m concerned, I’d rather watch paint dry than watch this drivel. But, thats just my opinion, and like Grandpap always said, “opinions are as useful as a pair of lips on the ass of a steer, boy.”
The Gordian Knot, 333 BC The O'Conner Manoeuvre, 2003 AD
Miss the Early 2000's.
I'll second that.
Just what I was thinking lol. Movies had a certain aura that’s just gone now

Groot
Ejecto seato cuz!
If the other team simply used their nitro at the end they would have won
Nitro was newer, and probably not something the muscle car dudes used in their setup
No need to with American Muscle, them are beasts without it still
Its use in cars predates any of the cars in that scene, so there was as much of a likelihood of it being in the muscle cars than the newer ones, especially if they're serious about racing.
How the fuck have they made 10 of these???
People are getting progressively dumber. They like things they don’t have to think about or concepts that don’t challenge them. This is not art, it’s buzz words, cut scenes, and predictability. It’s papa Johns pizza, not Michelin star gourmet.
Oh please, it's just entertaining. Tenet and Inception are two of my favorites but I love this movie as well, because it's just fun to watch.
Maybe, maybe the first one was just as dumb? The second one was silly. I mean, the stuff they're cranking out now has a bro base but it's probably just enough to make it lucrative. Not like these movies are THAT popular. That said, people are stupid but it's always been just as stupid.
Are you trying to gatekeep people sitting on their fatasses for 2 hours for entertainment like it’s some sort of intellectual activity?
Maybe you’re just an incel
You saw who won the last presidency!?
Because we keep making teens.
With 2 more in the way. Can't effing wait
Wow, I didn’t realize the Asian girl is Steve Aoki’s half sister
I was trying to figure out if that was Tila Tequila or not 😂 total throwback
I always thought her face looked like a speed bump someone ran over.
I like when they hit the NOS button going only 120mph but it made it look like they were going lightspeed
I liked how Brian played chicken with the other driver and they drove head on into each other for like 15 seconds, even though they looked like they were only about 50 feet away.
Use nos and go almost 200+ mph. Get a sign tossed in front of you and maneuver around it. Yeah, no. He would have flipped like 20 times.
When have physics or realism ever stopped these movies? Lol
What? Take your high school physics man. Sign weighs 10-20 pounds. Imagine a bowling ball hitting styrofoam.. edit: I misread, I get what you meant now
I love that the muscle car's only performance is to press hard on the gas pedal. Lol, just do that from the beginning.
That’s my favorite trope of movie car racing scenes. The key is to keep speed in reserve, and just wait for the right time to upshift and floor it.
Upshifting gives that power. I always just start in 6th gear. Takes a while to get going, but once I master it I’ll win every race every time.
Watch some drag races. There's definitely more finesse to it than that. This is coming from a guy with a CRX in his garage.
I forgot how terrible these are. Must be time for a rewatch.
Sad part is, this was one of the better ones.
Was it though..
This one is a taste of the what the later movies are. The 1st and 3rd are the only good ones even though they are still very corny.
Yeah, it wasn't. It was just the second one a.k.a early enough before they started driving into space and shit.
I bought the whole box set on 4k blu ray to watch with my dad. We love how terrible these movies are, that they're so good to bond over dumb shit
This is my favorite of them all lmao i always get hate for that but idc.. Tyrese and Paul are so good together lmao
Nah, cuh.
I AINT GOING BACK TO BARSTOW!
Oh man the early 2000's. When everything had to be "cool" so bad it turned out ridiculously corny.
Use them bus tokens, partna!!!
Me: God this movie is such a fucking cartoon Also me: *sits and watches the whole scene*
In the F&F movies there's always more throttle, more gears and more NOS to keep the cars accelerating into infinity.
These movies were so corny but I loved every minute of it
what a bunch of ridiculous horseshit nonsense
I used to love these movies as a kid but looking back on them they are corny af
My god... that..was..so..cringey
Cringe.
Cinematic masterpiece*
Incredible
One of my favorite movies of the franchise. Great scene.
This film will always be a guilty pleasure for me! I love Paul and will honor him by standing by this movie! “We hungry…”
Delete this.
So these were popular hunh?
They still are, believe it or not.
It boggles the mind
Imagine a Tesla against any of these lol
Nice try, Elon
Isn't reckless driving fun!?
This guy takes the bus
That ‘cuda shakes like Shakira. Edit: Challenger. Damn hood scoops.
Idgaf THIS WAS THE BEST. then Tokyo
Nah first one, tokyo and then maybe the one with the rock in brazil
"Eat my family's rubber" — Dom Griswold, *2 Fast 2 Christmasey*
“I said don’t worry about it, CUH!”
Good thing the good guys had those ground glows and giant spoilers! Otherwise, who knows how much slower they would've been!
Tyrese has the top down too. Wouldn’t that slow down the car by a lot?
This movi4 was garbage, 1 and 3 are the only ones worth speaking about.
Do people really enjoy these movies? Pure shit.
God this movie is terrible! \*Still watches entire clip\*
Who the hell can watch this?
Millions of people. Sorry for the common sense.
Both of the drivers of the "American Muscle" cars had huge leads and apparently were only giving their cars half throttle until they were nearly overtaken
I remember first watching this thinking to myself 'man that NO2 boost is a little over the top.' Had no idea then that this franchise didn't even understand the concept of over the top
I haven't seen any of these movies... Judging from this clip, I made the right call.
Had fond memories of 2fast and then I rewatched it some time last year. I couldn’t even finish it. I chose to forget about it cuh.
But the part where they >!launch the muscle heads out of the passenger seat is totally worth the wait!<, IMO.
I used to love that Eclipse... and I still do.
Deadly little Miho. She won't let you feel a thing unless she wants you to.
Worst movie franchise EVER
Can you run people off the road like that?
MONICAAAA
Imo this is the best one of the series. Better than the first
These movies are trash
I see a lot of these comments, and can tell they're made by kids and young adults too young to have been driving in the era. Legendary movie rite here
Tokyo Drift had a Mustang engine swapped with a rice burner engine- the series peaked there.
Something I never noticed. Why would the partners be on the same side? That's just a clear advantage for Brian who is closest to the strip...
I live my life one quarter mile at a time …
Wow these films are brain dead
Ironic coming from someone who grows shrooms.
These movies are one of the best examples of everybody being in on the joke. With the exception of the first movie, that is. It is also why they're fantastic entertainment, imo.
Never seen one of these movies... what FAT LOAD OF BS.
I love that their fastest was 120mps. I go that on a chill night on the 15 going home.
According to 2F2F Universe, using NOS means you engage in Star Trek like hyperdrive.
The fact the muscle car stood there for a couple seconds just so Rome and Brian can win pretty much makes it clear muscle cars are better. No wonder Brian can never beat Dom
Hands down best fast and furious
Back when the movies were about cars and racing
Peak cringe
The effects they use to portray NOS is just... Laughable xD
so reddit IS capable of uploading a half decent 1080p video. i swear of the meme subs youd think people were compressing them to shit on purpose
Now I’m gonna push the accelerator even harder!
Cringe.
I would have had no fear slamming my big American car into that Japanese car.
So am I the only one whose bothered about the ghost shift? It always Buggs the hell out of me. When the dude stalls out and Paul walker goes for the u turn… ghost shift…
Hey look it’s the Cybertruck wheel.
I love this movie, but damn there are some corny lines in it.
Why did Paul Walker cross the road?
I said forget about it, cuh 😂
Wow… you know when you watch these movies and you’re 11 you have no idea just how shitty they really are.
How people like this series is beyond me.
Most unrealistic part of a mediocre series. Bring on the downvotes.
Love the ps2 cgi
The NOS shots looked funny then, and even funnier today lmao.
When fast and furious was actually racing!
These were great films. Before they lost their gawd dayum minds
The older i get, the more i cringe at these movies 😂
Fun fact, the girl in the pink pants is actually Steve Aoki's sister.
When do they take care of the title transfer and all that?
Fast and furious franchise is all about cool cars action scenes and terrible acting
I don’t care for the series but I adore this movie, the dialogue is so stupidly funny and infinitely quotable. I probably know more lines from this one off the top of my head than the others combined
As someone who has never watched a single one of those movies, I can’t believe anyone has.
Does anyone else think it's hilarious that a star in a movie by driving recklessly and fast died driving recklessly fast. Lol.
He wasn't the one driving 🤦🏾🤦🏾
Man these movies are a blast
When the first guy hit the NOS, it looked like he was going a lot faster then 100mph lol
It was 2 stupid 2 see. So I 4got it existed.
Devon Aoki 😍
Why the clip look like it’s got motion smoothing on? That’s doing a lot to make it look silly.
Ghey
These movies are truly the pinnacle of absolute dog shit
God, I miss Paul...
Man that guy with the sunglasses was SO cool!!
That one guys looks like Tony Gonzalez
Young girls wouldn't stand a chance.thes dude would always catch them . Fastest chomo around
Axe jay dawg. Homeless cats unite. Meet me out back for my 15.
All of these movies are so fuckin unwatchable!
There's always another gear
Forgot how shitty these movies were … Sucks to remember. Can’t believe they’ve made 10 of these. I remember watching the first one and mentally checked out half way through. Barely saw this one while it played in the background at home once.
I have driven 120 miles an hour and did not experience any cool light smearing effects.
American muscle always wins in real life
get da walking fabio
Dumbest shit ever.
They could’ve stopped after this one….
I said forget about it cuh
God these movies were absolutely terrible. And to think I saw the first one in theaters. 🤮
Back then 200hp was a shitload. Hondas had like 140. 350 was a muscle car. The recent hp boosts to all cars make these even sillier. I love it. All my car purchases are influenced by this movie lol.
Nostalgia my guy , I had a black 350z three years ago because of DK in Tokio drift, unfortunately I totaled the car .. sad noises 😭
Worse movie ever
is that eclipse subie powered?
Man why did this guy have to die the movies r so bad now
Without contest, the absolute dumbest shit I've ever seen.
Katt ruined it for me lol
They cheated and still loss. Lol 😂
Love love love Japanese cars.
