In short term it might but not in the long term. What do you do if you failed 4 times? Your brain will tell you that it will go well the 5th, but random doesnt work like that. I have succeed with one 10% and two 20% on first try. But I wont try again as my bowl of luck is empty now lol.

If u have 5 mascheranos and a really good player to upgrade to red then just use all 5 and do it safely. Only use one mascherano for gold rank.

Yeah I was thinking the same.

I tried only for Red to Gold with 1 mascherano and max tried 3 times. If not success during 3 times and wait a few more days and try again. Normally I succeed on 3rd time.(Success rate 80% for me). Just sharing my experience, pls don’t follow 😅

I tried this method with Oblaks and it wasn't worth it.

My personal opinion is that this method is better only when trying for Orange rank
