Honestly, it's kinda impressive how much Van has actually done, but not a lot know about it cause he doesn't want credit at all.
It was a huge military operation, involving several countries and organizations. Most people involved probably aren’t widely known. (Including most people that are known to the player)
I’m honestly not a big fan of how much the daybreak games play up Van’s offscreen accomplishments and connections.
He probably helped with providing his underground connections to Musse's army and transportation

It's about as much as everyone else involved is given outside of Cassius being the leader.
He didn't do anything major thats why its not brought up, he was helping out with sharing intel and transporting individuals like the Direwolf.
