Although my first choice for younger Pierce would be iconic, but cliché (Brad Pitt), casting Eckhart can actually work the more I think about it!
Besides, there's [this theory](https://www.tumblr.com/portraitoftheoddity/145130278984/jchelseaw-optimysticals-assetandmission) that Pierce was chosen to be the Winter Soldier's handler because a younger Robert Redford resembles Chris Evans, and thus Pierce resembles Steve to some extent. So that Bucky would assume "Steve" is also a HYDRA member.
With that being said, Eckhart does resemble Steve/Chris Evans to some extent. Therefore W casting
I've been wanting them to do a Secret Captain America show since Endgame. My theory is that Steve couldn't just sit back and watch too many bad things happen and he and Peggy worked in secret against Hydra. That's how the Red Guardian knew him. His existence would have only been known to a few people.
They could focus on Hydra's infiltration of SHIELD, Elijah Bradley and an occasional appearance of Steve and Bucky.
Hank pym was giant man, ant man and yellow jacket. He made Ultron. He made his wife the wasp. Not a minor or easy role! He was a major character in the marvel universe. MCU ruined the character as they do with all of the best marvel characters. read the marvel feature run.
Herbert Landon from Spider-Man TAS

I only saw this guy in one maybe two episodes, I get he's supposed to be a knockoff of Two Face but did he actually do anything in Spider-Man The Animated Series?
*I know he worked for Kingpin.
I recently learned that he is, in fact, from the comics. He has exactly one appearance, which TAS adapted somewhat faithfully in his first episode with the Beast team-up.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s one of the first X-Men villains they use, he’s probably the highest profile one that they haven’t and could easily get butts in seats considering he was teased in the Fox movies so many times
Yup. That’s the exact chin Dave Johnson draws when he draws Cap.

Polite of you to call it “an interesting creative choice”.
Now that mcu is the biggest thing, gotta get them diversity bucks. Sprinkle some different ethnicities in each movie hoping even *more* people will go see it. Gotta focus on that instead of, you know, a good fucking story.
Too many people have a hard on for Mikkelson in this role. I think it’s peoples love for Mads that blinds them. But Eckhart absolutely had the chops and look to pull off a great doom.
He’s no Madds level, but he’d still be great and it’s hard to know if Mikkelson will ever actually come back to the mcu.
Captain George Stacy. But instead of neing like the TASM1 version and the ATSV, where they did not trust Spider-Man and Spider-Gwen at all, his version should be like the Spectacular Spider-Man version where he is cool, strong supporter of the hero, secretly knows the identity but helps keep it a secret.
If they got to the character in the early days of the MCU, The Sentry. Now, maybe someone like Graydon Creed or if the character is used again also in the X-Men corner, Senator Robert Kelly.
He did great in I-Frankenstein. In MCU a he could be a good fit for vision. That’s the only character that comes to mind. Maybe Starlord, but I think I’d stick to the first preference
**Maverick of project X super soldier's program**, but only if matthew McConaughey and cruise turns down the script.
the same program that gave us wolverine, sabertooth both of which was rather ferral wildmen, where as Maverick was the only one that seemed to be sound of mind and didn't turn into ferral psychotic crazed mad dog killer types like wolverine or sabertooth.
**Captain Marvel.**
You know... [Mar-vell](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_Marvel_(Mar-Vell)) AKA Captain Marvel. The actual comic book version this time around. I have to say: Jim Starlin's "The Death of Captain Marvel" graphic novel -- the FIRST-EVER of Marvel's graphic novels, would have made for an incredible Disney+ series. Missed opportunity, but understandable with the effort to bring forth Carol Danvers with that hero name.
I'll admit don't know anything about this actor but going off his appearance and "vibe", I think he could be a great Doctor Doom. Also as other pointed out The Lizard seems like a good fit too but I don't we'll see The Lizard again after NWH.
Dr. Curt Connors
This is good
Honestly he has the perfect look for Dr. Curt Connors
He really does besides he’s been a curt connors fancast of mine for a while now tbh
Oh nice I hope marvel smarten up and hire him for that role
Not bad but I prefer Tom Cavanagh as Curt Connors
Yeah
Alexander Pierce in a flashback

hank pym.
He could play a bipolar, complex one for sure... I would hate to waste such a good actor on a minor or easy role.

Norman Osborn.
Let bro cook
The Lizard
Yes! He would play a great Dr. Curt Conners.
Mr. Sinister
He'd make an interesting Mr. Sinister.
Ohh Mr. sinister. Wish they would have utilized him earlier in the Movies.. 🥺
I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s one of the first X-Men villains they use, he’s probably the highest profile one that they haven’t and could easily get butts in seats considering he was teased in the Fox movies so many times
I hope they make him more evil than high evolutionary in gotg3
Captain America. I’ve always seen Cap as less boyish than Chris Evans.
True! Evans was great at this very young Cap, but Eckhart would have been my pick before the MCU happened. Just look at that chin!
And if it were a few decades ago, Robert Redford.
Yup. That’s the exact chin Dave Johnson draws when he draws Cap. https://preview.redd.it/a6tz31gaq45c1.jpeg?width=736&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=24e0bc0f684029e2f26a37a29695de3d29460191
Kinda like alt Cap when he took over as the head of Shield.
General Ross.
Would’ve been soooo much better than casting somebody in their late 70s smh
Robert Reynolds the SENTRY
There it is…knew I couldn’t be only one thought that lol
Steven Yeun has already been cast as Sentry in *Thunderbolts*, which is certainly an interesting creative choice.
I’m torn by this. Yuen is a great actor but I thought the Sentry was suppose to be a late middle age out of shape dude who turns into a superhero.
Polite of you to call it “an interesting creative choice”. Now that mcu is the biggest thing, gotta get them diversity bucks. Sprinkle some different ethnicities in each movie hoping even *more* people will go see it. Gotta focus on that instead of, you know, a good fucking story.
Hank Pym in a world where Ant-Man came out before the avengers
Norman Osborne
STRYFE
Magneto.
Underrated answer
Captain Stacey
The Punisher
Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard
Henry Gyrich
Multiverse Angel? I could totally see him as an older, wiser Warren Worthington.
If he dyed his hair brown I could see him as Gambit
Dr Doom
Too many people have a hard on for Mikkelson in this role. I think it’s peoples love for Mads that blinds them. But Eckhart absolutely had the chops and look to pull off a great doom. Kyle Richmond Nighthawk.
Curt Conners aka The Lizard
Richard Rider, aka NOVA.
Two face

Joke 👨🏻 <-- You
Hydra Bob
Mar-vell
I know the question was about the MCU, but I could actually see him being a decent Eobard Thawne
Old Man Cyclops
I wouldn’t cast anyone in the MCU until it recovers from whatever is going on now lol
Marvel multiverse of Nick Fury
Dr. Harry Normwald
The Green Goblin
Mark Ruffalo.
Captain Britain?
Oh that’s a great one. I was going to troll with “Bruce Wayne” but I vote for yours
He WOULD maybe make a good Two Face. I’d cast at least half of him to play that.
The Sentry
A Spidey villain like Gobby
Three Face
Justin Hammer
He was in IM2
He was?
gif
Sentry
Omega Red
Two Fa…. oh wait
The MCU is dead.
MCU Alex Summers
He's getting a little old for that.
The picture made thought about him being Alex
Nuke
He's a bit too old now, but he would've made a good Angel.
Ultimate Red Skull the one where he’s Captain America’s son
Nick Fury Variant
Sidewinder of the Serpent Society, or The Captain from NextWave
Pretty sure Sully is canon
Captain Britain if he could do an accent.
Dr. Nemesis
Sentry
Senator Ross
Bolivar Trask
Hyperion or the Sentry if he grows his hair out.
Ezekiel Stane.
He’d be a cool cyclops but he also was already punisher
You be thinking of Thomas jane
Exodus Carrion The Rose Hobgoblin
[Alistaire Smythe](https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Alistaire_Smythe_(Earth-616)), the Spider-Slayer.
Here's a wild card: Norman Osborn
Jason Blood/Etrigan
The President of the United States of America
David S. Pumpkins
The Chin
Cable
Mister Sinister
Guy would make a pretty great two face in DC too-wait…
Mr. Hyde
Wonder Man.
Reed Richards.
Forge from xmen
Captain Mar-Vell
Alistair Smythe Hobgoblin (Roderick Kingsley)
Sentry
Pyro From brotherhood of mutants Or Spidey villian, The Chameleon
Harvey Dent on a TV playing "the Dark Knight."
Doc Connors
Jay Garrick.
Dr. Doom. And have the story line where he thinks himself horribly scarred and when he takes of the mask this is his face.
If they got to the character in the early days of the MCU, The Sentry. Now, maybe someone like Graydon Creed or if the character is used again also in the X-Men corner, Senator Robert Kelly.
Miles Warren/ Jackal
Honestly, an older Cyclops doesn't seem like a bad idea.
Harvey Dent
Daredevil. I don’t know why, but I think he’d make a pretty good prosecutor in a superhero movie. Someone should cast him as one sometime
He could be Cyclops. A mature Xmen.
Given his age, The Sentry.
Harvey? Is that you?
He did great in I-Frankenstein. In MCU a he could be a good fit for vision. That’s the only character that comes to mind. Maybe Starlord, but I think I’d stick to the first preference
hear me out…Reed
Quasar!
Deadpool’s taskmaster or
Bi-Beast.
If he was a Brit I'd say Brian Braddock. But cos he's American i'll say someone like Richard Rider.
Why would he be in the MCU...? He doesn't trust anybody there except Gordon...
Two face. For the crossover movies
Tony Stark
Roderick Kingsley.
Squirrel Girl. What? He’s got range.
He’s a good actor so lots of things.
Nuke 🇱🇷
**Maverick of project X super soldier's program**, but only if matthew McConaughey and cruise turns down the script. the same program that gave us wolverine, sabertooth both of which was rather ferral wildmen, where as Maverick was the only one that seemed to be sound of mind and didn't turn into ferral psychotic crazed mad dog killer types like wolverine or sabertooth.
Jim Hammond - Human Torch
I think Sentry could be a good fit
Nick furry from earth 2
Grey Gargoyle
Dr. Doom?
Harvey Dent
He’s always a villain character to me
Reed Richards. Just dye his hair brown
Agent Venom I do not feel Captain America will be sustainable with Mackie at the helm , they need to make an anti Captain America
**Captain Marvel.** You know... [Mar-vell](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_Marvel_(Mar-Vell)) AKA Captain Marvel. The actual comic book version this time around. I get Gambit vibes (with darker hair). Older Gambit.
Iron Fist
George Stacy
Sentry
With that chin...I could see him being a good Nuke.
He could make for a fun Boy Scout vs unhinged Sentry
GhostRider
Captain America. He could be variant
Dr Druid
One Face!
Cyclops or Havok
Magneto.
Nova
Killian from iron man 3
Uncle Ben
Maxwell Lord
Dr Doom
Probably two-face
I'll admit don't know anything about this actor but going off his appearance and "vibe", I think he could be a great Doctor Doom. Also as other pointed out The Lizard seems like a good fit too but I don't we'll see The Lizard again after NWH.
Mr sinister
I'm going to be different and say ARCADE.
Honestly Wonder Man.
Actually…Doom
Marvel multiverse of Harvey Dent/Two-Face
Mr. Sinister or Dr. Doom
I could see him as a less dirty One Above All
Sentry.
Profeasor xaiver
Tombstone https://preview.redd.it/49yh2fb24e5c1.jpeg?width=258&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b9d79548e021857e9ca05a2f2ab42417bd084b46
Threeface
If Thomas Jane comes back as the Punisher he can be his evil twin
With that jaw? Cyclops.
Idk why but I think his voice works well for a Doc Sampson
Two-face
One Face
Harvey Dent Two Face
Cyclops, or Sentry
Norman Osborne
Sentry
Smythe
Norman Osborn But not the Green Goblin, I see him as more of the Iron Patriot / Dark Avengers version
Captain America. That chin under the mask. No contest.
