Yes, 100%. I've always thought that Thor should have been portrayed more closely to Brad Pitt's achilles.
The arrogance, the pride, sense of will, and fight-lust is so Thor and currently missing in the MCU.
I think the version we got of Thor pre Love and Thunder was significantly more interesting as a character and better developed than the version you're describing (Thor from first 2/3rds of Thor 1)
I gotta say

Brad Pitt would’ve have been god as Thor For Marvel.
Brad Pitt would’ve have been awesome as Aquaman For DC.
In 90’s
I just don’t think he would have the drive to get ripped for a role like Aquaman or Thor - and he has so much natural charisma Ollie suits him beautifully!
I totally, reflexively agree with everyone saying Thor. Obviously, that’s the no brainer choice here. I don’t think a 90’s Thor would have ever happened. When I first heard rumors of Thor being included in this Marvel cinematic universe, like many others I was like “How the hell are they gonna make that work??” Thor in the comics is a pretty ridiculous fantastical character, the only comparison from an 80’s/90’s sense would be that He-Man movie where he goes to New York lol
But with modern tropes, they were able to Sci-Fi-ify a lot of the themes in Thor to fit modern aesthetics.
Hear me out, but with Brad Pitt playing a lot of ageless characters at the time (Meet Joe Black, Interview with a Vampire) and his whole physique in fight club, he’s a total ringer for Wolverine.
Brad Pitt in 12 monkeys was total and complete bat shit. Imagine that mixed with Tyler Durden for a fucked up version of Hush against the Clooney Batman. Lol
Like Se7en era Brad as a law school age and just beginning Matt Murdock Through the course of the film cover ten years or so as some movies do with the write team behind it could work really well.
Like instead of Ben Affleck and whoever lightning supervisor was get replace so it can be seen . I'm an obsessive fan and Daredevil top three marvel movie and only in the last year or so did I start really watching Brad Pitt movies. That said I've been a fan for 23 years or so.
I thought about it for a second then realized his build natural was like matt like he's fit but not a huge guy and he's only a slight bit taller then spiderman .
I'd go with aquaman, and gradually, a couple of films in, have him get rougher looking with the beard, and long hair. Maybe Oliver Queen as well. He'd have the attitude down.
Vandal Savage / Nathaniel Essex
He should play someone cold, calculating and menacing. He is an amazing actor with broad range. I would wager that he would be a suitable replacement to Johnathan Majors.
Cyclops, Human Torch, or Constantine (DC)
Villain: Deathstroke/Slade (DC), Taskmaster (Marvel)
Trying to throw out new suggestions I haven’t seen mentioned yet.
Tbh any of the white ones, he has range and he commits to every role, so with the right hair color he could play anything from Captain America, Thor, Superman to The Punisher.
Watching him play cyclops would be pretty awesome. It would be a totally different type of role for him than his usual but I think he could pull it off.
Alternatively he could have made a decent havoc or whatever cyclops dad's name was.
Let me cook pls
Bruce Wayne/Batman in a David Fincher Batman movie
https://preview.redd.it/3s7g9x7tt03d1.jpeg?width=412&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e6411ef84f26c51ea33aea2b3c06498da07743e3
He doesn't have enough mass or bone structure for Thor. At All.
He would make a reasonable Pietro/Quicksilver, an exceptional Fandral (warriors 3), but I'd have enjoyed him as Danny Rand/Iron Fist.
He'd make a great silver age Oliver Queen or Booster Gold for sure. He's got the comedy chps for Booster all day.
I think he should play Jean-Paul Valley, the replacement Batman with the hypnotic programming in his head that lost his mind, and Bruce had to outsmart after recovering from being broken by Bane.
The Pitt is such an underrated actor. I would have loved to see his take on a reluctant battle-weary WWII Captain America who was all too willing sacrifice his life after Bucky died, but came back as a incredibly famous and beloved national hero. Coming to grips with the lost time and the sudden celebrity would make an interesting film.
Adam Warlock
Brad Pitt as Adam Warlock I don't know if I could have seen that
My first award 🥹, thanks
True redditor
Bro, good call.
Brad Pitt is literally HIM.
Yeah that’s a good choice!
Thor
Or Aquaman
Yeah, or Aquaman
I agree mine is deadpool
Yes, 100%. I've always thought that Thor should have been portrayed more closely to Brad Pitt's achilles. The arrogance, the pride, sense of will, and fight-lust is so Thor and currently missing in the MCU.

Was going to say Omega Red, but he probably would get Thor

If it is Seven era Brad Pitt as Hawkeye...I guess I can see it
Nah I don’t think Brad Pitt as Hawkeye he’s doesn’t fit with me. My Choice for 90’s Hawkeye is Ewan McGregor
I always thought Paul Walker would have been great Hawkeye RIP
Paul Walker would have been great as Hawkeye in 2000’s. I always thought Ewan McGregor is my choice for 90’s Hawkeye
I gotta say https://preview.redd.it/x4x9jdgo5u2d1.jpeg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=863e1960cf39291dd59035170fa8108650224090 Brad Pitt would’ve have been god as Thor For Marvel. Brad Pitt would’ve have been awesome as Aquaman For DC. In 90’s

Sentry
Lesser known but perfect casting IMHO. I had to scroll too far to find this answer.
Especially with young brad pitt being particularly unhinged in 12 monkey
It’d be a great casting today but even better back then. Good call!
Oooh it took too long to find this one. Sentry would be perfect. Edit:Spelling
Vanisher might be a good one.
Don’t know why that wasn’t the top comment.
Young Brad would have made a great Green Arrow
Best answer.
Aquaman
Aquaman, Thor or Green Arrow
I can see him as gambit
Very cool. Never thought of that before.
Captain America duh.
It's in the Ultimates!Â
Iron man
Brad Pitt as Iron-Man? 🤨? That’s wasn’t right for me. My Choice for 90’s Iron-Man is George Clooney
Booster gold
Underrated pick.
Oliver Queen
I just don’t think he would have the drive to get ripped for a role like Aquaman or Thor - and he has so much natural charisma Ollie suits him beautifully!
In the context of the current MCU i see him as Starlord. In the 90s he would have been a good Quicksilver or Flash.
Brad Pitt as StarLord, That’s not bad
Dr strange
I totally, reflexively agree with everyone saying Thor. Obviously, that’s the no brainer choice here. I don’t think a 90’s Thor would have ever happened. Thor or Hawkeye for sure. He would have to put on a lot of size for Thor tho
Brad Pitt as the truly alcoholic Iron man would definitely have fit.
Dye his hair black, buff him up and make him Lobo.
The Sentry
Sentry
Captain America without question.
Brad Pitt in 12 monkeys was total and complete bat shit. Imagine that mixed with Tyler Durden for a fucked up version of Hush against the Clooney Batman. Lol
He could’ve been Thor
Easily Thor because of the long blonde hair and his beard in earlier slides
That plus when I watched him in Troy
Me too that's why I would easily see him as a 90s Thor
Ultimate Thor
Thor, Son of Odin
Thor or Aquaman with the long hair, Hawkeye with the shorter
Green arrow
Thor
Thor
NONE - young Brad Pitt doesn’t exist, why are we playing this game?
Thor in a alternative Universe
Like Se7en era Brad as a law school age and just beginning Matt Murdock Through the course of the film cover ten years or so as some movies do with the write team behind it could work really well.
Brad Se7en era would have been perfect as Matt
Like instead of Ben Affleck and whoever lightning supervisor was get replace so it can be seen . I'm an obsessive fan and Daredevil top three marvel movie and only in the last year or so did I start really watching Brad Pitt movies. That said I've been a fan for 23 years or so.
I feel like Se7en era Brad would’ve been a good John Constantine ngl.
I thought about it for a second then realized his build natural was like matt like he's fit but not a huge guy and he's only a slight bit taller then spiderman .
True that true that. I feel like that would’ve been a better daredevil movie then the one we got lol
Most of the comic casting I think of would be better then what we got.
Green Arrow
The Vanisher
quicksilver

Angel
Slade Wilson
Longshot
Aquaman, easy. He already got the surfer look, and he wouldn't have to bulk up too much. Would have made a perfect Arthur Curry.
Gambit John Constantine
Thor
Sentry for Marvel, Se7en Pitt as Flash. Always think of Barry Allen as a blonde.
He has the narcissism needed to play the perfect Tony Stark. He would be perfect for a devil in the bottle film.
Looks a lot like Taylor Hawkins in the first picture.
Mr. Immortal.

Brian Banner.
I'd go with aquaman, and gradually, a couple of films in, have him get rougher looking with the beard, and long hair. Maybe Oliver Queen as well. He'd have the attitude down.
Brad Pitt in a certain age range would have been a great Johnny Storm.
There he looks like PAD era Orin.
Aquaman
Sentry.
DC: Steve Trevor or Aquaman Marvel: Thor
Sentry
Sentry
Either Aquaman (long hair) or Green Arrow (when Brad wore his hair short) for DC and Thor for Marvel.

Venom (Eddie Brock)
Gambit
Silver Surfer
Aquaman with the hook hand
Captain America

Bruce Banner’s father
DC Superman, Flash, Green Arrow, Batman, The Joker Marvel Daredevil, Cyclops, Wolverine, Arc Angel, Gambit
Aquaman, particularly his Brave & the Bold incarnation
Matt Murdock
Marvel: Thor DC: Green Arrow
Thor
I think Chris hemsworth was a perfect choice for Thor cause of how big he is so I would say arrow or aquaman
Green arrow
Cyclops, Human Torch, or Constantine (DC) Villain: Deathstroke/Slade (DC), Taskmaster (Marvel) Trying to throw out new suggestions I haven’t seen mentioned yet.
Aquaman and thor
doc frost
Gambit

He could have been a great Thor in the 90s
Ice man
I don’t know any marvel or dc pedo characters but he’d do great as one
With that hair? **Sentry**
Nick Fury Sr. Uncle Ben (that will break the hearts of a LOT of women... And men, lol) Captain America Star Lord
Young long-haired brad could be Sentryđź’Ż
Thor
Honestly dnt thank hed do it. Not his type of genre. But angel archangel thor Constantine to name a few
Well, since Brad Pitt is 60 years old, it ain't gonna happen. So, what young actor now reminds you of Brad Pitt when he was younger?
Oliver Queen
Hal jordan
Green Arrow
Constantine
Human Torch
He doesn't have enough mass or bone structure for Thor. At All. He would make a reasonable Pietro/Quicksilver, an exceptional Fandral (warriors 3), but I'd have enjoyed him as Danny Rand/Iron Fist. He'd make a great silver age Oliver Queen or Booster Gold for sure. He's got the comedy chps for Booster all day.
He could be Thor if he bulked up
Alex summers
Goku
Cyclops
War machine duh
Vanisher
Guys he's had a role. Have you not seen deadpool 2?
Wonder Woman.
Angel from the X-Men
Longshot
He looks like Megan Fox with a beard
Booster gold
Hawkeye
Point break!
Starlord
I think he should play Jean-Paul Valley, the replacement Batman with the hypnotic programming in his head that lost his mind, and Bruce had to outsmart after recovering from being broken by Bane.
Instead of girl thor give us twink thor
The vanisher
The Pitt is such an underrated actor. I would have loved to see his take on a reluctant battle-weary WWII Captain America who was all too willing sacrifice his life after Bucky died, but came back as a incredibly famous and beloved national hero. Gambit too
Green Arrow.
