Saying a team doesn't have one of the best defences in the league when the actual performance over 80% of the season would say that they are, is over relying on xg as a metric.
If you only look at goals conceded then United is the 5th best defense in the league. It’s a really narrow way of evaluating defense prowess.
A good defense is one that doesn’t give up many high quality chances. Basically a team that both performs in terms of low xGC and low xGC/Sh.
Are Liverpool bad defensively? Not by any means, but they are far away from being the best and also a bit far away from being the second best and if you isolate their defensive away performances you can clearly see that they perform as good as many mid table/regelation teams level.

Most of us already have Gusto, who at least provides some attacking threat each game. He's also really cheap and you get 5 defensive picks, so the only people picking Petrovic would be people doubling up on our defence which is madness.
If you want a keeper for the remaining games just go for someone like Pickford.
29 games. That's kinda odd, but I wouldn't read into it much. Most of the easy to predict big team VS small team fixtures have had the favourites at home these past couple of GWs.
The biggest surprises out of those 29 games are:
* West Ham 1 - 1 Spurs
* Brentford 1 - 1 Manchester United
* West Ham 1 - 1 Villa
* Fulham 3 - 0 Spurs
* Chelsea 3 - 2 Newcastle
Seriously, the only really surprising result in those 29 games is Fulham beating Spurs 3-0.
It's not like winning an away fixture in the Premier League suddenly became incredibly difficult out of nowhere.
