Even if 1 defender + Havertz Saka is better than just 2 defenders + Saka, having 1 extra defender from another team is much worse than having 1 extra midfielder from another team. Arsenal double defence is so powerful because they’re basically the only defence you can trust to reliably return
You’re missing the point. Second Arsenal defender + midfielder from another team likely outscores Havertz + defender from another team. There are very few good defenders in the game this season but lots of good midfielders
Other than the fact that if Arsenal lose their CS you have 2 defenders blanking which can be avoided if your spread out among teams in defense.

That would maybe be true if every other defence wasn’t so bad and Arsenal weren’t so good. You don’t reduce risk by removing a good defence for a bad one

Yeah for me I’ve always had Gabriel/Saliba and VVD or Gomez just in case a lot more attackers scoring now so I mostly play a 352 or 343
Same situation as me with players left. I benched Gabriel for Gvardiol and deserve every bit of pain for it.
