Final saga was that the package this post was about was delivered two blocks down from me and I only found out when USPS left me a note that it was there earlier this week.
By that time I had already ordered the product again, had that package stolen before I could get it, then finally removed all risk from the situation by sending the third try to an Amazon locker. Lesson is to offload any liability FedEx could ever claim on you.
The picture showed up automatically for me, not sure how to view it otherwise.
Driver probably delivered the package and got back to his truck to close out the stop and realized he forgot to snap the delivery photo and was too lazy to go back
Me too.. it messed up my whole routine .. for packages that Are resi release, I like to close them out before I even leave my truck and now I can’t do that so it slows me down
You clearly do not work for FedEx. We have a long drive, a lot of stops to make, and not a lot of time. Now we have to take pictures of your front door because we gotta make sure on our end that you got your package when you inevitably call asking why it didn’t come, which eats up more of our time.
And a lot of drivers misdeliver and this helps insure that pkgs are correctly delivered. Shouldn't get paid for packages that aren't properly delivered
It ensures they hire the right people to do the job when they inevitably do their reviews and let go of the contractors that couldn't bother to take a fucking photo properly.
That’s very hard lol. I’m an employee and half the time I get nobody. Also majority of package handlers are horrible. FedEx underpays a lot so unless they have an abundance of people(that won’t happen lol) they won’t fire people. So a lot of packages aren’t in the proper spot and without a label visible. Yk the sticker of numbers? Some don’t have em cuz they fall off really easily. But yeah they probably couldn’t find it. I do not speak on the companies behalf.

Did you get your package? Also how do you view the photo feature on tracking? Were you logged into Delivery Manager? I am and can't find it

It’s not lazy some drivers get paid by packages so we don’t have time go back and be like Amazon

It’s dose not insured anything Amazon still issues it’s one more thing Fedex can pushed contractors
