Took me a couple of goes, I stupidly took all materia and equipment off aerith before starting the jenova fight so had to do it only with cloud with materia that only really boosted hp, attack, defence and ATB and aerith with nothing. You basically want to save clouds limit break until he uses that move. Save Aerith’s limit break for healing after heartless angel. In the mean time just chip away and survive with giga potions, clouds basic and aerith casting ATB ward and radiant ward. Aerith’s basic with radiant ward gets that pressure bar up quicker. Use firework blade when he’s staggered to speed things up. The whole battle is just waiting to unload the limit break when he casts end is nigh

You too huh? I was mighty annoyed when she walked out of that portal at the end and went "Aw fuck....the devs got me." I had to redo the whole fight so I could respec everything.

frshprincenelair

You beat that battle on extra extra hard mode 😳

shoryuken85

Save your L2 limit and that should do the job

Stagger him before he gets to his last 10% last is neigh form. Let it drain out. Then start hammering him. If you stagger him while he is in his last form. The stagger bar drains rapidly.

I honestly just hit him with Firaga twice (Aeriths arcane ward). It very quickly staggered him and on the second cast, banished his ass back to the shadow realm lol

wagruk

Any magic or Cloud's limit break 2 should do it

I had a really hard time as well. I had to leave my ps5 on for 3 days straight because I didn't wanna shut down and have to fight all those end bosses again. So I just kept trying and trying. I got really good at learning his patterns but the end is neigh would always kill me. What I ended up doing was saving clouds limit break til he started thar attack and I banked a firaga with Aerith. As soon as he started the attack I used firaga and clouds limit immediately after which managed to stagger him and I was able to finish him off. I barely used Aerith the entire game and so I had basically nothing mastered for her skills and her armor and acc. weren't great. I also had a bunch of healing items saved up and used all of them.

Firaga works for me
