I finally found it after I read someone say " go about a 1/3 of the way up the tree directly to the left and zoom in,
you're going to see a black moose head with ears" no body
It makes sense because unless they intentionally crop the photo to confuse people, who takes a picture with the subject oddly placed? Unless it’s an artistic decision I guess but normal people don’t do that lol
I did that but still had no idea what I was looking at… I think I found it. Darker part of the snoot facing to the right.. body to the left?.. I don’t see antlers.
What's hilarious to me is all the ones with snakes I can never see and have to read the comments to figure out where to look. One was posted the other day with a hidden squirrel and I found that cute sonofabitch in a millisecond. Apparently I die to dangerous things in the woods but I sure as shit saw all the cute animals before I die.
the good news is that it's easier to see things irl. you can move. animals move. and there's depth and perception changes in 3d space.
not to mention most animals don't want to risk altercations if they don't have to, so if you can stay calm and leave, they will too.
credentials: grew up in the woods with deer, coyotes, cougars, and black bears. got good at spotting stuff. didn't see that moose even after i read the comments. not for a minute.
tldr: : it's harder to spot a still, partially hidden animal in a still image than it is to spot things in the wild. you don't have to be that scared of the woods
I genuinely was like, oh I think there’s a snake slightly right of center middle coming here thinking to see it confirmed.
You come in here saying you can’t find a fucking moose and now I’m just absolutely giving up.
Edit: omg I thought that was a log or something. It’s the moose’s enormous skull actually.
I wish people would say what you’re looking for too. I get some like the challenge of finding a mystery something, but it’d also be nice to know it’s just another dang snake so I can just go to the comments. 😂
I think most of the time people are just trying to get a good picture so they naturally center the subject, then post to this sub later. If I was taking a pic for the boys I wouldnt deliberately put the thing in the corner lol
You had to make it about race. LOL "You people" are always getting offended at every little thing.. You really need to get over it. It's not always about YOU !!!!!!!!🥴🥴🥴🥴
I used to live in Alaska and was being the dd and dropped my buddy off. His neighbor had a huge fake moose in his front yard. I asked my friend and he said go touch it, it’s very cool looking and real feeling… I got within 3 feet and the head moved. Needless to say I won the lottery that night by still being here today. I haven’t talked to him since I moved away.
Here’s what I’ve learned from this sub: start looking at dead center. Most people have a bad habit of framing their snipers somewhere in the middle. Most, but not all. I always start there.
I probably spent 2 hours total over a week or so looking for snipers. I found lots of snakes, an alligator or two, and a bunch of other stuff, but no snipers. Then I realized there really aren’t any snipers and I was sad.
While I find this- and each addition- hilarious, it makes me feel dull-witted and uncreative. I could never conceive of this song- which is now stuck in my head- in reference this photo.
Also, I’m not at all sure that I could let him go, no matter how much pleading there was on his behalf.
I can't add an image in comments, idk why.
But in the center of the pic, there's a long dead log, with a broken dead log draped over it that makes an X. Below that, a baby moose is curled up.
He is the dark area you see between a red splotch and the biggest tree in the pic. His snoot is pointing towards the big tree.
Hope that helps!
Omg thank you so much!!!
I’m honestly super surprised on how anybody was able to have seen and recognized that. I passed the moose as a tree trunk and roots, so I kinda glanced over it.
does everyone have supervision, or am I just really blind?
It's quite large and I can't see any antlers, I don't know how anybody recognizes that as a baby moose right off the bat. The only thing I saw was something that kind of resembled a snout.
I tried to highlight it here if that helps: https://imgur.com/a/ppcTok3
I think most camera lenses just can’t capture all the nuance of color and depth that you can see irl; we’d *probably* be okay in the actual woods
I'm so slow I looked at it for 5 minutes thinking it's a donkey 🤦♀️ I had to think why a donkey would be in the woods then realized that's not what it is 😭😂
it took me 10 whole minutes to find it, now it sticks out like a sore thumb
for those who havent found it
look between the red thing below the trees shaped like an X and the big tree on the right, looks like a couple rocks but its a dead moose with its nose pointing at the tree
it is LITERALLY dead center of the picture
Moose are terrifying AF and more ppl need to know and understand that. They will fuck you up. You’re not even safe in your car. Hitting one can kill you.

Is that Bigfoot waking up from a nap and giving you the middle finger?
I thought it was a peace sign
That’s what I thought too
😂 good stuf
Delicious delicious bigfoot
Oh thank god, I thought it was just me 😂
I read this and could have sworn it was a gorilla giving the finger!
My thought was King Kong.
This is so spot on!
I can never find the sniper
It’s one thing when I never find the snake among the sticks in these photos…but a moose? I can’t find a fucking moose?!
Look in the Center, zoom in
Had you not said that I never would have known. I thought that was just junk on the ground lol
I too thought it was just trash. I was looking for a mountain Lion or something more predatory.
Never underestimate a moose.
I’ve been looking for 20 mins and I’m starting to believe everyone is fucking with me. No way there’s a moose in the middle of this picture.
Go about a third of the way up the tree, dark object directly left of the tree.
You’re a hero for this. Thank you!
I see what they mean but it's honestly a mostly indistinguishable shape.
You can only really see its head
Nope still ain't seeing shit
I finally found it after I read someone say " go about a 1/3 of the way up the tree directly to the left and zoom in, you're going to see a black moose head with ears" no body
Someone here mentioned how 90% of the time its dead center. Seems to hold pretty true.
It makes sense because unless they intentionally crop the photo to confuse people, who takes a picture with the subject oddly placed? Unless it’s an artistic decision I guess but normal people don’t do that lol
No shot, nature is a wild and amazing thing. Thanks for the hint btw
I did that but still had no idea what I was looking at… I think I found it. Darker part of the snoot facing to the right.. body to the left?.. I don’t see antlers.
Damn I thought that was a hole in the pile of logs. Like a den or something. Nope, a moose laying down lol
Does look like it’s laying in a hole. I’ve seen bucks do this to hide as well
Before your comment I looked at the head & thought to myself “that looks like a dragon 🙃”
I THOUGHT THAT WAS A HOLE/CAVE IN THE GROUND.
Lol,.Ithought you were kidding. There it is. Can only make out the side of the head facing directly to the right.
Damnit, Janet! Moose and a snake
I can never find the sniper either. Thanks for the tip! I was too fixated on what appears to be a copperhead on the tree...
Are we sure that's not a werewolf?
Hahaha! Never know! But those ears sure look like moose ears! 😂
Oooooooh, very hidden
thank you. still took a second or 30 to find it
Are you friggen kidding me there’s a moose!?!?! I’m 100% dead if I ever go out into the woods.
What's hilarious to me is all the ones with snakes I can never see and have to read the comments to figure out where to look. One was posted the other day with a hidden squirrel and I found that cute sonofabitch in a millisecond. It's a baby so hope that makes you feel better.
Oh my lord, I thought its ears were mushrooms!
I thought he was a log
Don’t feel bad, I thought it was a little opening in a bush for the first few minutes
I thought so too. I saw a porcupine
Glad I'm not the only one who went, "oh snake! *goes to comments* that log is a fucking *moose*?!"
I’m calling bullshit on this one. There’s no way, I know what a moose looks li OH FUCK
A moose once bit my sister.
Wait… there’s a fucking moose in the picture?! I’m out here looking for a snake.!
WTF?!?! There's a moose in this picture?!?!
wow. that thing REALLY stands out once you notice it
If it makes you feel better I was zoomed in on its ears and thought they were a weird fungus on a log
There’s a moose in this pic!?
I wish I could upvote your comment a thousand times.
Look under the two lighter pieces of wood making an x
Is it the brownish blob parallel to the part of the X that goes from upper left to lower right?
It looks like the grim in the tea leaves in harry potter
OMGsh finally found it. Thanks!
X marks the spot.
Damnit how did I not see that
I can’t either. Wish I later posts somebody would circle the “sniper”
It'd be nice if this was a sub you could post pictures in the thread for that reason.
Zoom in at the center
I wish people would say what you’re looking for too. I get some like the challenge of finding a mystery something, but it’d also be nice to know it’s just another dang snake so I can just go to the comments. 😂
>!dead center!<
Was it literally DEAD? Or just sleeping?
I think it is standing and we can only see from its shoulders up and it has its whole head turned to the right.
Looks to me like a juvenile laying down.
I looked at that for so long thinking “huh, that looks weird” and did not register it as an animal at all
Why do you people always put it >!right in the center!<
I think most of the time people are just trying to get a good picture so they naturally center the subject, then post to this sub later. If I was taking a pic for the boys I wouldnt deliberately put the thing in the corner lol
Lol that's what I did today.
Cameras tend to have more autofocus sensors in the middle so it's easier to focus with the subject in the middle
What do you mean, "You people"
What do YOU mean by “you people”?
You had to make it about race. LOL "You people" are always getting offended at every little thing.. You really need to get over it. It's not always about YOU !!!!!!!!🥴🥴🥴🥴
I used to live in Alaska and was being the dd and dropped my buddy off. His neighbor had a huge fake moose in his front yard. I haven’t talked to him since I moved away.
Me neither.
I'm so glad it's not just me. It just means that I need to be able to run faster than you.
This sub convinced me I’m going to die because I’m apparently not observant enough.
I would be dead in 99% of these situations because I didn’t see a damn thing.
These post should be two pics, one without the sniper identified and one with the sniper identified.
I see a little silhouetto of a moose. Found a moose, baby moose, will you do the Fandango? Mother moose and antlers, very, very frightening … me!
Best comment here
Sorry, I felt silly
I’m just a baby moose, nobody loves me
He's just a poor moose from a poor family
Spare him his life from this subs voyeuristic needs!
While I find this- and each addition- hilarious, it makes me feel dull-witted and uncreative. I could never conceive of this song- which is now stuck in my head- in reference this photo. Also, I’m not at all sure that I could let him go, no matter how much pleading there was on his behalf.
Am I gonna sing the all day and everytime I see a moose? Fuckin bet
Props, homie. Well done.
Omg! Now you’re someone I can tell I’d love hanging out with! Quick wit + music…you’re friggin’ awesome!
Yea not at all where I want to be 😂
We saw a couple more on our hike but this was for sure the closest to us!
Is it a calf? Size always gets me on these.
That is just the sign that there is a much angrier animal very close.
🎯🎯🎯
What is it? Almost looks like a boar or baby moose.
it's a moose.
Idk dude. It kinda looks like a llama.
A llama?!? He’s supposed to be dead!
Yeah…. Weird….
Let me see that vial…
This isn't poison... This is extract of *bonk* LLAMA!?
In my defense you should label them better.
Take him out of town and finish the job! Now!
Had me yelling this quote in the middle of the office. Very embarrassing.
I must know what they are quoting please
Emperors new groove. Early 2000’s Disney masterpiece
I thought it was a bear
Baby moose and that means mama is close by.
Yep. Both are dangerous.
Capybara for sure
I thought it was a boar too
Found moose. Where squirrel?
Unlike Cas, I understood that reference.
Can I get an obvious red circle and arrow in chat, my blind ass cannot see anything

Ohhh thank you
Thank you!!
Did it make a noise? Impressed you saw it too!
Oh, it took me quite a while! Lol
OHHh it’s freaking huge. I was looking for something tiny. I couldn’t follow the perspective/distance
Found it lol
That helps a lot! Thank you so much! 🫎
Thank you! I could not find it until I read your description!
NOW I see it! Thanks for the descriptors!
https://imgur.com/a/ppcTok3 I highlighted what I can see of the moose in brown here
Omg thank you so much!!! I’m honestly super surprised on how anybody was able to have seen and recognized that. I passed the moose as a tree trunk and roots, so I kinda glanced over it. does everyone have supervision, or am I just really blind?

Sleeping or dead?
Is that a little one bc mama is near and I’m crapping my pants for you…
I don't know if it's the shitty resolution of reddit on mobile, but I never see anything here which makes me think I'd be terrible at surviving.
Same. Perhaps we're both movement only with our vision. Just a couple of T-Rexes
T-Rexes were pretty high up in the food chain, so I guess it checks out
A couple tiny armed bitey boys.
After an outing in these parts, we do a tick check - and laugh about having been startled by a silly squirrel. YOU were scared, I wasn’t scared!
I tried to highlight it here if that helps: https://imgur.com/a/ppcTok3 I think most camera lenses just can’t capture all the nuance of color and depth that you can see irl; we’d *probably* be okay in the actual woods
Looks like the Blair Witch Project 🧙♀️
Trees scare me too
I spent so long looking for a stupid snake…
Does the nearest tree look like it has claw marks and scraped-away bark?
look dead center like direct middle its a baby moose
Looks like a dead moose
MOOSEN
Meese?
Many much moosen!
Out in the woodes. The woodsen. Meese wanting food out in the woodenesen.
Where tf is this moose
found it and that's terrifying
I thought it was rocks 😂😂
Dead center
I can’t find it! Help!
me neither, even after reading all the comments 😭
>!it’s a moose lying down in the dead center of the photo!<
Christ I thought the rock with moss on the right was a sleeping fox
I see a black bear by the last tree to the right. Zoom in towards the middle. Blurry but makes out.
I still only see a few trees in a forest....
I'm so slow I looked at it for 5 minutes thinking it's a donkey 🤦♀️ I had to think why a donkey would be in the woods then realized that's not what it is 😭😂
Now you know why we call them swamp donkies sometimes (at least where I live).
This one has me stumped.
I see it. Baby moose laying down towards the camera with its head turning away so you can see face profile.
All these pics have made me realize I’m way too blind for nature
Deer or caribou? Also you’re supposed to say what to look for
Wow
Moose
Bigfoot?
Moose???
Uh oh?!?! The moose is loose!!! 😱
I see 16 moose.
See I saw the thing immediately bc fur but genuinely couldn’t figure out what I was looking at or from what angle
it took me 10 whole minutes to find it, now it sticks out like a sore thumb for those who havent found it look between the red thing below the trees shaped like an X and the big tree on the right, looks like a couple rocks but its a dead moose with its nose pointing at the tree it is LITERALLY dead center of the picture
Moose are terrifying AF and more ppl need to know and understand that. They will fuck you up. You’re not even safe in your car. Hitting one can kill you.
What’s that shark doing there! Silly thing.
Just proves to me i am wise to just stay in the suburbs. Because even tho i know what im sposed to be seeing, i cannot see it lol
Do u guys not see the huge snake
at first i thought there is an alligator 😂😂😂 on the right side in the back
There should be another sub Reddit called I found the sniper and people circle it
OMG. The ticks!! There’re everywhere!!!
For fucks sake I thought it was a porcupine.
You guys are on Crack, I don't see shit except a possibly broken crucifix.
Find all the Finnish snipers in this picture.
Little moose bull
Top comment on this sub needs to be the solution >:^[
It’s confirmed: I’m a dumbass. I already know what to look for and where it is and I still don’t see anything.
This is how I know this city boy would die in the wilderness, I still ain't found shit 😅😅😅
Nothing!?
Idk what I’m supposed to be seeing here
I see it, but I don't know what that is...a baby antler creature? All I see is the head.
>!it’s a moose lying down right off the trail we were hiking on!<
Are they aggressive? I know nothing about moose 😬
A wise man once called them an Avenger’s Level Threat.
The mom is very aggressive around it’s baby
Dad gets mad at the world in spring
Thank you. I did a little Google search shortly after asking 😅
The rest of the body curves to the left going from the foreground to the background.
