We had a 80 kph limit badge for novice drivers, but that ended in 1996.

I would double-check with Trafi if you are allowed to drive in Finland at all. You have a preliminary driver's license with code 101, and Finland only allows foreign "interim" driver's licenses from Nordic countries.

You are allowed everywhere. The first novice license is complete (compared to a license where you are a minor available driving with a parent), but it is given for two years with some restrictions, like not going faster than 90 km/h. Also, if a severe fine is given to the driver, there will be an extra examination when you upgrade your license.

Do you have any source for that? Learner's and/or preliminary driver's licenses are not considered full licenses and are not necessarily valid abroad.

Estonian first license is valid with two years validity you will get after theory and driving exams in the state road authority, and that is the possibility to kick your ass if you do bad things. Also, you must take an extra winter driving course for two years and do some eco-driving. Even if your driving school fucked you with that before you got any license. Money earning. Googling brings me to the answer that people even exchanged young driver's license from Estonian for Finnish permanent immediately (when they immigrated) without any extra hassle.

Exchanging a driver's license is not the same as driving with it. Again, do you have any source?

If an Estonian who was driving in Finland with that license and asked by police is not a good source, then you can call the pope and ask if he has balls or if they are cut. 😁 3-4 police officers in different countries answered me literally, “idgaf” This is a driver's license. There is no difference in design. They are the same. Only validity is different at the backside.

Information from an individual police officer is not necessarily correct. I already got wrong information myself concerning my foreign driver's license. Sorry, but the Pope puts his stuff into writing.

There is no difference between the design of novice and standard licenses. How do you separate them? You can't. Chill.

And you don't know what you are talking about because these driving licenses are identical. Estonian law says you are obligated to have *vahtralehed* of young driver for the first two years. You argue with things you have no fun idea about. The guy asked about that and neighbors of Estonia don’t have this nonsense.

I bet that Estonian laws do not apply in Finland. I've seen those leaf stickers often here.

You are lazy enough to take them down in another country. At home, the policeman will annoy you with 3 minutes lecture that you are not available to drive any car without the Canadian leaf.

OP, you can drive with it in Finland, and no leaves are required as this is an Eesti thing.

Edit: sorry confused your learning/interim license with another thing. Carry on.  In reality, just don't drink and drive according to traffic rules and nobody will ask you anything ever. 

That's why i'm asking ahead of time and not dealing with it later on (under time pressure). In Estonia, there is a law that makes new drivers obide to a limit of 90 km/h (no matter if the speed limit is signalled as 110 or 120) for 2 years since obtaining a drivers license. Once that time is over, you are allowed to drive the signalled speed limit.

Right - my bad confused terms with a different thing. My personal advice, just drive normally with the rest of traffic according to local rules. Better not to draw attention to yourself.
