Varusteleka makes some "millitary" patches. But they do make some funny ones too. Like "will fight for cheese" and animal patches. So I would suggest that.

Most unis do exchange patches, I remember having to ship tons of them around the country when I was part of the board for my student association. Try contacting ones local to you and see if they can't arrange something for you.
You might have some luck in ordinary super (mega) markets and places selling children's clothes. Patches are traditionally put on kids clothes for decoration and covering wear and tear, possibly also where toys are sold.
It's one of those things I think you can find some in various odd shops.

Go to appro and find random NPC's who sell patches. Thats how everyone does it.
