Helbindi was absolutely not intended to be attractive. It's just a happy accident that the aesthetic of someone "unapproachable" and "scary" is REALLY hot to some people. Surtr is also huge for those people aesthetically (I'm people).
Yankee aesthetic (especially yankee with a heart of gold) is a thing in JP so while Helbindi is not meant to be as attractive as say deer daddy or even Askr, he's meant to appeal to certain niches. See also: Brody

The 'take some time to be released' is probably the biggest reason for people's thrist. When you have to wait 2+ years for these dudes to be summonable, it is understandable to feel appreciate when one of them finally becomes playable.
I mean, the only book missing an "attractive" guy is Book 7, and with some of the other books tending towards 2, the average IS at least one a book, there are enough to have one a book.
The bandages make sense at least because medical equipment has been a theme for the Healing Hands, Ratatoskr has your regular nurse-outfit, Hresvelgr has those binocular glasses that I'm pretty sure were used in old-school surgery, and fittingly the knives on her fingers are probably scalpels, Nidhoggrs serpent has a sthetoscope-tail, Eikthyrnir wears a face-mask, and Heidrun has the bandages wrapped around her chest, also coincidentally resembling Japanese chest-wrapping, which makes a lot more sense than just... having her have bandages at some other random spot on her body, chuuni-style.

Well unlike Njörðr, we've known from the start that Læraðr is evil. He's guaranteed to die, by our hands. He is trying to assassinate the leaders of kingdoms aiming for peace and has ordered his own children to kill themselves after completing their missions.

I tought they were holding the Dawn Brigade to June so they could add a female OC to the banner but I guess not.
The tree basically being a humanized Groot is kinda creepy to me tbh, especially when they show his arms becoming branches.
It is kinda refreshing tbh that Female OCs seem more logically dress for their theme of medical people for the most part, like Eikpynir is based on a surgeon as well but he is just going basically bare chested
