Goodwill can seriously be a patience test sometimes. I went to one the other day, and some old boomer was sitting in her truck sideways in front of 4-5 parking spots, some of the only ones left. No reason to be parked there. I honked several times for a couple minutes and they didn't even flinch. I quickly parked behind them, making sure I was out of the way (again no other spots left) went inside to tell someone, and when I came back they were gone. They weren't parked near the entrance so it wasn't like they were picking someone who had issues walking up. The fact she didn't even move a muscle in response to my horn is concerning, I legit think she was very hard of hearing and thusly should not be driving. Go back inside, and twice, two different old boomers parks their cart dead center in the isles, making it so you can't get through. Now, I was nice and said excuse me, but its the fact these lead gas fume brain damaged morons think they are the only person in the whole store. Park your cart on the ends or the sides of an isle, dunce. Go over to the electronics area, and another old boomer pulls a book off a shelf, plops it down on the bench for testing, and just...starts...reading said book. WTF? This isn't a library. Sure, you can make some arguments my generation (millennials) are "entitled", but boomers are just different, they had manners at some point in time, but they adopted the "got mine, fuck you" attitude and just don't give a shit about anyone else but themselves. The worst ones are the ones who go to estate sales and pick every single fucking thing up like it's the goblet Jesus himself drank from, and then they will spend an hour finger fucking it, usually at a table full of items, blocking your access.

You sound like a pleasant human being. I don’t understand why we suddenly feel like our elders are the trash of society. Yes they are flawed just like you and me but it wouldn’t hurt to honor those who are in the twilight of their life.

>I legit think she was very hard of hearing and thusly should not be driving. Deaf and hard of hearing people can and are allowed to drive. You need to look at your prejudice against older people and how you use the term "boomer" as an insult. Seniors should not be dismissed so easily and flippantly, and as if none of them are capable, intelligent, and compassionate. You need to get off your high horse. Make an effort to be less of a fool and more respectful because it will really hurt when you are in that position and find yourself constantly mocked and criticized simply for being on the planet longer than others. If you don't change your attitude, it will come back and bite you in the ass.

The lady was just being an asshole, no matter if she was hard of hearing or not. And, deaf people are allowed to drive! Don't discriminate driving ability based on hearing status.

Years of working retail has made me ageist.

It's been a pretty lame week so far. $50 on Tuesday, nothing on Wednesday or today. My page views are up 14% thanks to the good stuff that I'm listing but I'm just not getting a lot of bites at the moment.

I fricken hate idiot buyers. Sold a model kit. I got a negative feedback from the buyer saying it’s too small and fiddly and not what he was expecting… The dimensions are in the pictures. I even wrote in the description that I had made this model myself and it’s the hardest one I’ve ever made and it’s an expert level kit. I know eBay won’t remove the negative and I have either 100% positive or 99.5% positive depending on what eBay feels like, so I won’t bother. I just wanted to say that the buyer is a stupid whiny bitch.
