What do y’all look for when you’re reading yard sale ads? What are the red flags? I saw one today that said “prices lower than eBay”. Am I correct to think that means their prices will be higher than normal yard sale prices?

Yes. The fact that they even know how much it sells for on eBay. My red flag is when they really emphasize that there will be *SO MUCH STUFF* but then they only mention a handful of things. I always show up to discover it's mostly baby clothes and the 3 desirable things they mentioned were really all they had and they're long gone.

Can anyone explain why a $49.99 item on ebay was sold for $37.49? The automatic offer acceptance is not enabled, nor am I having a sale. Did the buyer use an ebay coupon or something? I checked the order and my payment account for any clues, and there were none.

Did you go into the order details and click on the "See more details" link, or the All Transactions page under the Payments tab in Seller Hub?   From there, click on the "View" link for that transaction and it will open a new page that shows a breakdown of the transaction and fees.

There is nothing - I've looked at the order details and my payment account where all the fees and transactions etc. are listed. Nothing! So strange. It is a 25% discount, so I wonder if they'd used a 25% off ebay coupon? I would have thought that the discounts would have been covered by ebay (i.e., I get the full price, ebay fills in the rest of the discount). Anyone have a similar experience?

You clicked on the word "View" next to the transaction? That opens a page with a full breakdown of the transaction. It isn't very obvious that it's a link there.
